This is a lovely home, with a bright and welcoming appearance as soon as you walk in. The facilities and the outings and activities are outstanding. The food looks good, the staff are very patient and friendly and my aunt is very happy here. I feel confident that she is safe here. I am not involved
in her finances so cannot comment on that.

Everything at Brockington House, from buildings and facilities, to human resources, have been meticulously researched, therefore ensuring all care provided meets the individual needs of residents.
When the menu wasn't to my mum's liking, something else of her choice was always provided.
The staff

Brockington House is a lovely place to live - it's clean and staff are welcoming. It is expensive compared to other homes (inc homes in SE England where one would expect to pay a premium.)
Care staff are generally lovely - kind, patient and caring. Food in the ward for people with dementia is sometimes
not.

The care and support my father has received since moving into Brockington Care Home with my mother last JUly have been nothing short of excellent. Sadly my mother passed away within 4 weeks of them moving into Brockington and the staff were wonderful to Dad during this very traumatic period and continue
to look after him so well
Even the entertainment staff take so much time and trouble to support the residents and tailor sessions to appeal to different residents

Bramshott Grange was the perfect care home for our Mum. The staff were so kind and caring and were able to manage as Mum's dementia needs became more demanding. She loved being out in the garden, especially in her first two years at Bramshott Grange.

We can only endorse all the positive comments left

by other relatives recently. It was also such a pleasure to visit Mum and take part in some of the activities with her.

Thank you to everyone at Bramshott Grange from all of Mum's family.

We found the home to be excellent in terms of the premises and staff. The facilities were first class with easy access gardens, gym, restaurant and lounges. Services included nursing help, personal trainer, entertainment and trips out, all completed with care and friendliness. The ambience of the home
was welcoming, with impressive management and a very happy and competent team. The security was excellent as was our experience of the home in general.

Bramshott Grange has and is continuing to providing excellent care for my Dad, who suffered a debilitating frontal lobe stroke 2 years ago that left him without the ability to care for himself or communicate his needs. He is always clean, comfy and well cared for at Bramshott. The staff are friendly,
caring and engaging. They work hard to provide a stimulating environment and arrange numerous events and activities to engage the residents. Dad particularly responds to musical activities of which there are plenty. They are welcoming and friendly to family members and always offer a cup or tea. They made a lovely cake for my Dad's birthday, which was much appreciated. The food is good and the home works with residents and family's request regarding dietary issues/needs. The home is bright and light and the gardens (complete with Tortoise) are very nice. Any queries are dealt with in a timely fashion and I thank all the staff for being friendly, compassionate and professional.

Brockington House

from R T (Wife of Resident) published on 28 August 2025

Overall Experience 1.0 out of 5
My 82-year-old husband with Parkinson's dementia went into Brockington house care home for five weeks' respite. At first he seemed fine, but within days he was moved to a locked unit because of "wandering" - something the home already knew about. When I returned early from holiday I found him heavily
sedated, unshaven with food stuck in his beard, and looking neglected. Managers told me they could not manage him and he would have to leave. Later I discovered he had not even been given a prescribed calming medication, which may explain the problems they complained of. After moving to a specialist dementia home he immediately joined in activities, was calm, and showed none of the behaviours reported by Brockington house. This experience left me very disappointed in the standard of care he received.
