My mother has recently become a permanent resident at Glenburnie Lodge, after a short respite stay in December 2025. I cannot fault the excellent care she is receiving. What really standard out is how good and well trained, all the staff are for their care of the residents and also how they interact with visitors. My mother joins in with lots of activities and she loves it at Glenburnie.
Thank you for taking the time to share your lovely feedback. We are delighted to hear that your mother has settled in so well at Glenburnie Lodge and is enjoying taking part in the activities on offer.

During this time we approached several different Care Communities that offered to meet dads needs , however, we were instantly impressed ( a decision process shared equally with my three siblings) when we met the Team at Glenburnie who demonstrated a professional & empathetic understanding of not only what dad was going through but also what we as a family were feeling . The ethos that has been fostered there gave us confidence that our dad would be well cared for & we are delighted to say that has been the case since dad joined in November 2025.
We are extremely grateful to all at Glenburnie , in addition to the excellent nursing team everyone else is also a "carer", the admin team, housekeeping, maintenance, catering & the activities co-ordinator are wonderful .the home is clean with quality & comfortable furnishings .Thank you.
We are honoured that you and your siblings chose Glenburnie to care for your dad after such a difficult time. It means a great deal to know that our team's empathy, professionalism, and ethos gave your family confidence and reassurance from the...
My 90 year old uncle came to Glenburnie Lodge in July 2025. Prior to this, he lived independently but was unable to continue due to health issues. I was amazed how quickly he settled in. I think this is down to the fabulous staff who are so very kind, attentive and hard working. Not only do they support my uncle, who needs a lot of care, but I also felt supported and comforted, knowing he was receiving the best care. Glenburnie is a warm and welcoming care home with beautiful rooms and areas where people can meet and enjoy all the activities that staff create. The coffee lounge is his favourite. I would recommend Glenburnie Lodge 100%

Caerwyn has had a wonderful stay here, he has spoken to me when I've called and conveyed he is happy, enjoyed the food, he has told me that he has been doing a lot of walking with his frame, which is amazing as he has struggled with mobility this year in particular. Thank you so much for looking after him, I hope he can come back, but after a lovely worry free break, I am pleased to take him home today. Lots of love Karen.
Thank you so much, Karen, for your kind and thoughtful review. We're delighted to hear that Caerwyn enjoyed his stay, especially the food and his walking progress - that's wonderful to know. It was a pleasure caring for him, and we're so glad his time with us gave you peace of mind. We'd be very happy to welcome him back in the future.
This is a lovely home, with a bright and welcoming appearance as soon as you walk in. The facilities and the outings and activities are outstanding. The food looks good, the staff are very patient and friendly and my aunt is very happy here. I feel confident that she is safe here. I am not involved in her finances so cannot comment on that.

We found the home to be excellent in terms of the premises and staff. The facilities were first class with easy access gardens, gym, restaurant and lounges. Services included nursing help, personal trainer, entertainment and trips out, all completed with care and friendliness. The ambience of the home was welcoming, with impressive management and a very happy and competent team. The security was excellent as was our experience of the home in general.

Friendly, helpful and caring staff. It's comforting to see Dad clean, in coordinated clothing! I have had first class care and great support from all the staff here at Glenburnie Lodge. Nothing is too much trouble for them, even small tasks like doing up shoes have been undertaken very willingly as have had a replacement hip operation and my movement is restricted. All in all, a very pleasant experience.

I recently had an accident, as a result I suffered some fractures and cannot be completely independent. I am most grateful that I could leave hospital to come to Glenburnie Lodge. This has enabled me to regain my health while saf, comfortable, enjoying good food, excellent care and support. I have found the standard of care has exceeded my expectations. The staff are universally helpful, kind, pleasant and efficient. I am enjoying delicious food and the option to mix with others in the communal spaces or recover in the calm, luxuriously appointed bedroom. As a result both my family and myself have peace of mind.
Thank you for your lovely review. We are so glad that we have been able to support you on your road to recovery. We pride ourselves on the standard of care that we provide. The food is 5 star and our Chef's are committed to providing the very best. We love our Cafe area especially when it is a hive of activity giving people the opportunity to form friendships.
I genuinely feel blessed to have Glenburnie Lodge so close to my home. It is absolutely beautiful wth comfortable and well thought out accommodation but the level of care from the carers and nurses is beyond exceptional. You really feel like part of a family here but I couldn't rate it more. As a care home it is utterly wonderful.
