Overall Experience

The manager and Secret Garden team provide the community with an outstanding service. Set in a beautiful location, the purpose built hub offers a wonderful day retreat where daily activities lift the spirits of all who attend. The Secret Hub is lively, fun, and somewhere my mother looks forward to visiting

every day. The homecooked food and cake are also a special treat.
Not only do the team look after their guests to the best standards, but the advice and support I have personally received has been invaluable, and I am forever grateful for The Secret Garden.

I was privileged to be able to attend the choir concert at Resthaven, which was very enjoyable. The choir members sang with enthusiasm and gusto and looked very professional in their choir t-shirts. Very positive experience to date. Initial contact was helpful and detailed, the first group meeting went well, and my wife felt very much at ease. Staff have been caring and thoughtful and make a great effort to ensure newcomers are relaxed and comfortable. Games and quizzes, plus kind banter, make

for an interesting visit and keep everyone on their toes (metaphorically). I am told that lunch was appetising and convivial, and coffee and biscuits filled the gaps. Bottom line, we are very content with what the Secret Garden offers and value the group interaction in supporting recovery from a previous stroke. Thank you.

My mother who has dementia has stayed in Faithful house for respite care on many occasions over the past couple of years and every time the care she has received has been exemplary. The staff are absolutely lovely and mum always seems extremely happy there. There are always lots activities going on

and the food is excellent. Finally the garden and summerhouse are particularly lovely, a wonderful place for the residents to sit on a fine day. I would not hesitate to recommend Faithful house to anyone looking for care for an elderly relative in the future.

Overall Experience

Faithfull House pulled out all the stops to give my mother a memorable 100th birthday. Her hair and nails were beautifully done. The staff welcomed the family and had decorated both her room and the room where we met. The cake was fabulous - big and chocolatey. It was enjoyed by all.
Arrangements were

made to transport Mum to an outside party later in the week. All went smoothly, and Mum looked great and thoroughly enjoyed herself. Many thanks to all at Fathfull House.

My mother arrived in Royal Court with her husband as respite care in the autumn of 2021. Although COVID restrictions were still in place, I was happy with what I saw of the spacious accommodation and care. We have experienced a few changes in staff and management, but overall, I am very happy with the

care my mother is receiving. This is especially true now that she has moved into the Dragonfly Unit, where she is just settling in with a closer, more intimate care setting.

My mum is so happy at Faithful House. She loves the company of all the other residents and carers. Overall Experience

My mother has been in Faithfull House for 15 months. She was reluctant to go into a care home but quickly settled, and there is no doubt that her quality of life has much improved. She constantly says how marvellous the staff are; they are all very patient with her. She regards them as her friends and

refers to the other residents as her family. Her personal care is excellent, and any medical issues are dealt with quickly. She recently celebrated her 96th birthday, and we were able to have a family gathering in the conservatory.

SECRET GARDEN DAY CARE HUB - part of Lilian Faithfull House
My mother-in-law absolutely loves it here! The staff are friendly and always put the guests at ease, they are treated with dignity and understanding. After a tough few years, this wonderful place has been a new lease of life for her.
She

has made new friends and always comes bouncing out at the end of the day with a huge smile, talking about the fun things she has been doing - one of her favourite activities is when they have a singer visit who plays all the old songs, and everyone gets on the dancefloor. No one is shy, and the staff make sure everyone is included. The staff are wonderful - big shout out to a particular member of staff, who does a fantastic job running the centre and took extra time to reassure us when we were both nervous at the start !
There is always a fun atmosphere at the Secret Garden. As soon as I collect her, she is then on a countdown until the next time she can go. THANKYOU SO MUCH keep up the good work!

My wife and I really can't thank the management and staff at Bay Tree Court, in Cheltenham, enough for the care that they provided to our father in the last four months of his life. Bay Tree Court, working there is much more than an ordinary job.Their deeply caring attitude is not only shown by the management and the main carers - it also extends to everyone there, such as the kitchen, maintenance and the cleaning staff. We commend their dedication and kindness in a career that many people would find very difficult indeed. The atmosphere at Bay Tree is one of warmth and peace, and the people there take a lot of trouble to look after residents' relatives too, in what is often a very difficult time for everyone in the family.
