My Dad was a resident for 8 months and during that time I couldn't fault the care & attention he received. All of the staff, without exception were so kind & attentive to my Dad & also to our family. When my Dad unfortunately passed away in January 2026, he was treated with such respect & professionalism.
I knew that I wanted to return to Baytree & feel priveleged to now have become a volunteer at this very special place.
Reply from Fiona Gillon, Home Manager at Bay Tree Court Residential Care HomeHello Claire, thank you so much for this lovely review, it was a pleasure to care for your father he was a true gent. We also really appreciate the time and attention you are now spending with our residents as a volunteer, I know your father would be very proud. Thank you again.

We had a very good experience at St Faith's. Unfortunately my mother was only there for 2 weeks before passing. It was a lovely, spacious, light and airy from for visitors and family. We were offered the option to stay over if we needed. Parking, although tight was fine with the option for parking for
up to 6 years on the road outside. The food was good and the only thing I could mention was that our request for soft food like yogurt and custard was slow to get through.
Reply from Teresa Weis, Home Manager at St Faith's Nursing & Residential Home Thank you Paul for your kind words and your honesty where we fell short of the standard you were entitled to. We welcome all feedback and endeavour to improve our practice accordingly

Royal Court has wonderfully caring and empathetic staff for whom nothing seems too much trouble. Following her arrival at the beginning of 2025, my aunt quickly felt settled, and, although she cannot now communicate, she appears contented and comfortable. The quality of food is good, and the spacious
accommodation is for the most part kept clean and fresh. I have found the management to be proactive in communicating with me if ever there is a decision to be taken about my aunt's medical or dental treatment. All in all, I believe Royal Court to be well managed and I would not want my aunt to be anywhere else.
Reply from Sheena Mathew, Clinical Operational Lead at Royal Court Care HomeHi Frederick,Thank you so much for your kind words and for taking the time to share your experience with us. Your kind words truly mean a lots to everyone at Royal Court. We are so pleased to hear that your aunt has settled in well since joining us in June 2025 and that she is happy and comfortable in her home here. Ensuring that every one feels safe, valued, and cared for as an individual is incredibly important to us, so it is lovely to know that your aunt feels supported and content. Your appreciation of our staff means so much. Our team work with genuine compassion, patience, and dedication every day, and they will be deeply touched by your recognition of the support they provide. Thank you also for the trust and confidence you have placed in us.

My initial experience with the Secret Garden has been very positive. Nobody that I have met this far has been anything less than polite, respectful, helpful and professional. My only quibble is with access, security is very important but waiting outside in the rain is not fun.
Reply from Mark Norris, Hub Manager at Secret Garden Day CareThank you so much for your kind words-we're really pleased to hear that your experience with the Secret Garden has been so positive and that our team has made you feel welcomed and supported.
We also appreciate your feedback about access. While security is a top priority for us, we understand that waiting outside-especially in the rain-is far from ideal. We're currently looking into ways to improve this part of the experience without compromising safety.

Our elderly mother was only a resident at St Faiths for seven weeks before she died yesterday. However, during that time we greatly appreciated the courtesy, kindness and professionalism of the staff. This was especially the case in our mother's final days and hours. We cannot thank you enough. The
home itself is delightful, very clean and well organised and with a convenient car park.
Reply from Teresa Weis, Home Manager at St Faith's Nursing & Residential Home Thank you so much Julian ,for such a positive review and your lovely comments about our staff and the care provided to your late mother.

My wife was at Royal Court from Sept'25 to Jan'26. Our experience was distressing and unacceptable. There were safeguarding failures with 2 assaults by another resident, and no effective action taken to prevent the 2nd. There were repeated failures in basic standards of care. Clothing and belongings
went missing, leaving my wife improperly dressed. Housekeeping was often poor and maintenance issues not resolved. Personal care was neglected, with diet, medical, grooming and foot care issues. Communication was particularly difficult for a dementia resident. Many staff, especially Agency workers, didn't converse clearly in English. Overall, we experienced poor management, inadequate safeguarding, and a lack of professionalism. My wife has moved to a care home where standards are vastly better. I've rated 2-Stars because of mitigating points. Despite pressures, most staff were very kind, and the CEO also acknowledged the seriousness of my complaint with a significant refund of fees paid.
Reply from Kevin Snowball, Chief Executive at Royal Court Care HomeWe are sorry to hear that you were not happy with some aspects of our care. During your wife's stay, you raised a number of concerns with our team, which we have already discussed with you in detail and we agreed to a partial refund of fees as a gesture of goodwill, and further confirmation of how seriously we took your feedback.
We shared your concerns with the local safeguarding team, who determined that no further action was required from us. We worked with you throughout this process and took steps to address the issues raised.
I'm glad that you recognised that our team are very caring at Royal Court, we are proud of our diverse team of colleagues from around the world. We were delighted to host a 3-day CQC inspection in September 2025, into all aspects of our operation, which resulted in a 'Good' rating overall and highlighted several aspects of outstanding practice.
We are pleased to hear that your wife has now settled into her new home.

I have been visiting my mother for almost a year before writing this review because I wanted to be sure that the warm welcome she received on arrival could be sustained. I'm delighted to see that from top to bottom, every single member of staff has worked tirelessly to help Mum settle. We have seen
physical improvements in her dementia symptoms from the 5-star care, socialisation and good food served regularly. We are greatly relieved to have chosen Lilian Faithfull House for Mum's palliative care and wouldn't hesitate to recommend the charity and its staff.
Reply from Dale Booker, Registered Manager at Faithfull House Residential CareThank you so much for taking the time to write such a thoughtful review and for trusting us with your mother's care over the past year. It means a great deal to our whole team to hear that the warm welcome your mum received on arrival has continued throughout her time with us.
Supporting residents to feel safe, valued and truly at home is at the heart of everything we do, so we are especially pleased to hear that you've seen positive improvements in your mum's wellbeing through the care, companionship and meals she receives each day. Our staff work incredibly hard to create a supportive and social environment
We are very grateful for your recommendation and for allowing us to be part of your mum's journey. Please know that we will continue to do everything we can to ensure she remains comfortable, supported and surrounded by care.

Staff work hard with care, humour and many individual acts of kindness to make our aunt and her elderly sister (who visits frequently) feel welcome and at home. Our aunt has enjoyed the regular afternoon movies with coffee, the support to access religious services, physio support such as being taken
for walks in the fresh air and so on... The medical reassurance and responsiveness of the team has been much appreciated. It also helps that she has a lovely view from her room, which she finds relaxing and an ongoing source of pleasure. Thanks to all.!
Reply from Dale Booker, Registered Manager at Faithfull House Residential CareWe are delighted to hear that your aunt feels welcome and at home, and that the care, support, and small everyday momentssuch as the afternoon movies, time outdoors, access to religious services, and physiotherapyhave made a positive difference. It is especially reassuring to know that our teams responsiveness and medical support have been appreciated. Your recognition of the staffs care, humour, and individual acts of kindness will be shared with the team, who will be truly encouraged by your comments. Unfortunately, my Mum was only in Bay Tree Court 5 days before she sadly passed away. However, during that time she received the utmost care and respect from all the staff who attended her. They were always cheerful; nothing was too much trouble and on more than one occasion they went the extra mile.
It was clear to see these were staff who loved their jobs and were dedicated to providing a high level of care sensitively and sympathetically, but always professionally. They tended to my Mum showing the utmost respect for her dignity in her final hours and were also kind and caring to us as we waited for the inevitable passing of my Mum. Their care for Mum, and us, on that night and the support they gave us, in very distressing circumstances, was nothing short of exemplary.

I am very proud of the whole team here at Baytree Court, they care for and support families as well as the resident. I spent two weeks in respite care over Christmas and found the staff helpful & caring. The meal on Christmas Day was excellent, with all trimmings, but afterwards the quality of the food seemed to tail off, although I realise that leftovers have to be put to use! The soups were excellent. The atmosphere
is friendly & caring.

My mum has been going to the Secret Garden for nearly a year. I've noticed how happy she seems after attending. In general her mental health has improved in leaps and bounds. Mum was very lonely and confused when left on her own at home. The Secret Garden has been an absolute life line for her and has
made so many new friends.
Reply from Mark Norris, Hub Manager at Secret Garden Day CareThank you so much for taking the time to share this lovely review. A friend became a resident. She was extremely happy at the Home. The staff were all caring, compassionate, industrious and could relate to the individual needs of each resident. Well trained and focussed. The room with en suite was comfortable and with the opportunity to personalise it with ornaments
and pictures. The food was wonderful with meals in the dining room with fellow residents and beverages mid morning and afternoon. Events held within the Home and day excursions occasionally to venues outside. A happy place to be.
Reply from Fiona Gillon, Home Manager at Bay Tree Court Residential Care HomeHello Timothy, thank you for this lovely review it really is appreciated. It was a true pleasure to have had the opportunity to support your friend at Baytree Court, she always had such a positive nature and definitely a great sense of humour! She made real friends with other residents and staff loved spending time with her. We will miss her greatly, but will think of her fondly when feeding the birds which we all know was a passion of hers.

Such a lovely place to entrust your loved one to. All the staff are lovely and they are always visible so it's not a place you would ever feel lonely. They made everything from moving in to the finances easy and relaxed and they are always happy to help and offer advice and support even though I'm not
the resident just the daughter. Very happy both my parents are here.
Reply from Fiona Gillon, Home Manager at Bay Tree Court Residential Care HomeHello Sarah, thank you for your lovely review, it is really appreciated, (by the way no one is 'just' a daughter). Mum has now been in Bay Tree for 18 months; she moved after a year in another Home where she was just not happy and complained constantly which was very difficult. After initial teething issues (only with medication) she is very happy and settled, and frequently says it's better service than a 4* hotel!
The staff are absolutely fantastic, caring, kind and cheerful. The cleaning and laundry staff do an excellent job, and I cannot praise the kitchen staff enough who go to so much trouble to work around dietary issues and tastes, the food is fantastic. Fiona is hands-on and approachable, and when you do get the odd issue, gets it sorted promptly and efficiently. Mum has no wish to socialise or join in the numerous activities and she is fully supported in that, with all meals/drinks and snacks brought to her room. Staff pop in constantly to check she is ok, and all her medical needs are looked after including regular physio. I cannot recommend it more highly.
Reply from Fiona Gillon, Home Manager at Bay Tree Court Residential Care HomeHello thank you for this amazing review! I am so pleased that your mum has settled in so well and I think we have built a great relationship with your mum & both you and your husband. My mother has been in Faithful House for 18 months and is about to celebrate her second Christmas there, she really likes the decorations and with help remembers things from her last christmas. Although occasionally asking if she is coming home she follows this up by saying she's very happy and likes
being at Faithful House and couldn't be in a better place, She still regards the staff as her friends and the residents as her family. ]Her personal care including minor medical issues couldn't be better.
Reply from Dale Booker, Registered Manager at Faithfull House Residential CareThank you so much for your lovely review and kind words. The festive decorations are a real show piece and they spark happy memories for many of our guests. Knowing that she sees our staff as friends and the other residents as her family truly means the world to us, especially at this special time of year. We're also very grateful for your praise of her personal care and the support she receives with her medical needs - this will be warmly shared with our team. My mother has been in Faithfull Houses care for the last 9 months. I can honestly say I have not visited a care home as excellent.
The home is spotlessly clean, and the food menu is exceptional. The care and concern for everyone's individual needs are second to none, and the staffs lovely, friendly
attitude makes for a relaxed atmosphere.
The activities program is varied and full and the staff do a wonderful job getting everyone involved. My mum is so happy being there. 5* care.
Reply from Dale Booker, Registered Manager at Faithfull House Residential CareThank you so much for taking the time to give the home such a wonderful review. We are truly delighted to hear that mum is happy and well cared for at Faithfull House.
