Faithfull House feels like home! My mums who suffers from dementia, settled in quickly into Fauthfull House. The staff are so friendly and caring. They understand my mum and can preempt her needs. My mum has a lovely room and really enjoys the 3-course breakfast, lunch and dinner. The thought and varied
activities offered have stabilised if not improved, her confusion and well-being. She especially enjoys the outing on Tuesday. Mum's family are made to feel so welcome, and visiting is encouraged anytime. We are often made a cup of tea & given a piece of cake by the staff.
Reply from Dale Booker, Registered Manager at Faithfull House Residential CareThank you so much for taking the time to share such a thoughtful and heartfelt message about your mum's experience at Faithfull House.

it has been lovely to witness how well mum has settled in, and that our team has been able to support her needs with care, understanding, and compassion. We are so glad that she loves her room, the meals, and especially the activities and outings - Tuesdays are a firm favourite for many of our residents!

We are also very pleased that you and your family feel welcome when visiting. Creating a warm, homely environment for both residents and their loved ones is extremely important to us, and your kind words are a wonderful reassurance that we are achieving this.

Thank you again for your lovely feedback.

I am very pleased with the support and care Mum receives. There is considerable effort put in to encourage her to be involved in the numerous and varied activities on offer. She particularly enjoys the music, singing and dancing! The staff are able to spend time with Mum, to help her with the ups and
downs of adjusting to life in a care home. Mum's faith is important to her. She likes to take part in the church activities and is taken to weekly church services. I am impressed with the bespoke care and support which is provided. Staff are so welcoming and kind - Thank you!
Reply from Fiona Gillon, Home Manager at Bay Tree Court Residential Care HomeThank you so much for this lovely review, it really is appreciated. Your mum is such a loving and kind lady; she has really become a part of the community here at Baytree and I know our activities team so enjoy walking with her to the Church on a Thursday morning. I am so pleased that we have had the opportunity to support your family as well as your mum during her stay here. Thank you again.

I am very impressed with the care and attention my mum gets at Faithfull House.

Faithfull House has a very consistent team of staff so low staff-turnover which means they are well known to my mum and they know her too.

The home has regular activities and trips. They have a lovely garden area

and large lounge and dining rooms.

If I have any issues, they react quickly to emails and respond quickly.

I highly recommend this care home.

My Grandma was at St faiths for almost 3 years and received the most wonderful care.
The care team were fantastic and cared for my grandma well. They always popped in her room when we were visiting to have a friendly chat . During times of illness the nursing team always called with updates and took
great care of her during her last few days.
The rest of the team are equally as wonderful very pleasant and friendly. Her room was always immaculate.
The care home itself is a lovely building which feels homely and the rooms have ensuites and beautiful furniture inside.
I would highly recommend this care home to anyone needing 24 hour nursing care

My Mother Sheila has now lived in Lillian Faithfull House for 10 years . This care home and its staff have been amazing for us as a family as my mother now 94 yrs has had the care love and attention in all aspects of her physical mental and emotional needs met . She is safe and loved and the communication
warmth and energy you feel when entering this establishment words can't describe . The activities the physical therapists the kitchen staff and the overall caretakers are all heavily invested in making my mothers stay comfortable and are all so attentive to her daily needs . They are kind , always smiling to lend a hand and the management team Dale and Helen are highly trained honest , and easy to get a hold off with any concerns . I highly recommend this Care home , Charity run and could not be happier for my Mum and as a beloved daughter I would not only want the best for my mother but her end of life care to be that of everlasting love and peace .

My mother was on a two week respite after a reassessment of her condition. They decided to make her a permanent resident in June 2024. Since then, she has settled well, and we as a family have found the staff very welcoming and helpful; they have cared for and looked after her very well in the time
she has been a resident. She has enjoyed the trips out and activities.
Reply from Dale Booker, Registered Manager at Faithfull House Residential CareThank you so much for taking the time to leave us a review

We're especially grateful for your fantastic support throughout the year, it particular you amazing effort with the fancy-dress Christmas party. Seeing families get involved and share those moments makes everything we do feel even more worthwhile.

We're glad her transition after the reassessment went smoothly and that she has settled in so well since becoming a permanent resident in June 2024. It's lovely to know that you've found the team welcoming and helpful, and we truly appreciate your kind words about the care she's received.

Hearing that she enjoys the outings and activities puts a smile on all our faces. We'll continue doing everything we can to make her days happy, stimulating, and comfortable.

What strikes me about my visits to my sister at Bay Tree Court Care Centre is the warm atmosphere and friendliness of the staff to both residents and visitors On the two occasions I have visited to date there have been 'active' activities, music and dancing on one occasion and exercises on the other
with outside leaders. This interactive nature of activities I am sure creates a positive atmosphere for all (residents, staff and visitors) as opposed to a passive video. I have been told by other family members and seen photos in the care centre which show that activities are a regular occurrence, for example a boat trip.

Very positive experience to date. Initial contact was helpful and detailed, the first group meeting went well, and my wife felt very much at ease. Staff have been caring and thoughtful and make a great effort to ensure newcomers are relaxed and comfortable. Games and quizzes, plus kind banter, make
for an interesting visit and keep everyone on their toes (metaphorically). I am told that lunch was appetising and convivial, and coffee and biscuits filled the gaps. Bottom line, we are very content with what the Secret Garden offers and value the group interaction in supporting recovery from a previous stroke. Thank you.

My mother who has dementia has stayed in Faithful house for respite care on many occasions over the past couple of years and every time the care she has received has been exemplary. The staff are absolutely lovely and mum always seems extremely happy there. There are always lots activities going on

Faithfull House pulled out all the stops to give my mother a memorable 100th birthday. Her hair and nails were beautifully done. The staff welcomed the family and had decorated both her room and the room where we met. The cake was fabulous - big and chocolatey. It was enjoyed by all.
Arrangements were
made to transport Mum to an outside party later in the week. All went smoothly, and Mum looked great and thoroughly enjoyed herself. Many thanks to all at Fathfull House.

It was our pleasure to help arrange her transport to the outside party later in the week, and we're glad everything went smoothly. Seeing her so happy was incredibly rewarding for all of us.

My mother arrived in Royal Court with her husband as respite care in the autumn of 2021. Although COVID restrictions were still in place, I was happy with what I saw of the spacious accommodation and care. We have experienced a few changes in staff and management, but overall, I am very happy with the
care my mother is receiving. This is especially true now that she has moved into the Dragonfly Unit, where she is just settling in with a closer, more intimate care setting.
