Bay Tree Court Residential Care Home

I cannot fault any aspect of the care my late father received at Baytree Court. From the moment he arrived in May 2025 he was made to feel special. Everyone went out of their way to ensure he was well looked after; this was not just confined to the care team but included all of the support team members
too.
The atmosphere within the home was always friendly and positive. There was a wide range of activities to suit all tastes and the food on offer was always fresh, appetising and varied. The cleanliness of the home was exemplary.
Sadly my father was taken ill in December 2025 and he spent his final days at Baytree. The end of life care he received as well as the loving support that I and my family experienced in his final days helped make an extremely difficult time more bearable.
Reply from Fiona Gillon, Home Manager at Bay Tree Court Residential Care HomeHello Claire, thank you for this lovely review, it is always so special to know that our team has had such a positive impact not only on our residents but the families and friends also. Your father was such a kind and gentle person, it was a privilege to be able to support him and all of you during his final days. Take care.

Staff work hard with care, humour and many individual acts of kindness to make our aunt and her elderly sister (who visits frequently) feel welcome and at home. Our aunt has enjoyed the regular afternoon movies with coffee, the support to access religious services, physio support such as being taken
for walks in the fresh air and so on... The medical reassurance and responsiveness of the team has been much appreciated. It also helps that she has a lovely view from her room, which she finds relaxing and an ongoing source of pleasure. Thanks to all.!
Reply from Dale Booker, Registered Manager at Faithfull House Residential CareWe are delighted to hear that your aunt feels welcome and at home, and that the care, support, and small everyday momentssuch as the afternoon movies, time outdoors, access to religious services, and physiotherapyhave made a positive difference. It is especially reassuring to know that our teams responsiveness and medical support have been appreciated.
Your recognition of the staffs care, humour, and individual acts of kindness will be shared with the team, who will be truly encouraged by your comments. Were also pleased that your aunt enjoys the view from her room and finds comfort and pleasure in her surroundings.

Unfortunately, my Mum was only in Bay Tree Court 5 days before she sadly passed away. However, during that time she received the utmost care and respect from all the staff who attended her. They were always cheerful; nothing was too much trouble and on more than one occasion they went the extra mile.
It was clear to see these were staff who loved their jobs and were dedicated to providing a high level of care sensitively and sympathetically, but always professionally. They tended to my Mum showing the utmost respect for her dignity in her final hours and were also kind and caring to us as we waited for the inevitable passing of my Mum. Their care for Mum, and us, on that night and the support they gave us, in very distressing circumstances, was nothing short of exemplary.
Reply from Fiona Gillon, Home Manager at Bay Tree Court Residential Care HomeHello Beverley, thank you so much for taking the time to complete this review, it is really appreciated. I am very proud of the whole team here at Baytree Court, they care for and support families as well as the resident. I'm sorry that your mum's stay was so short but I am grateful that we were able to take some of the pressure off you in her final days. Take care.

I spent two weeks in respite care over Christmas and found the staff helpful & caring. The meal on Christmas Day was excellent, with all trimmings, but afterwards the quality of the food seemed to tail off, although I realise that leftovers have to be put to use! The soups were excellent. The atmosphere
is friendly & caring.

My mum has been going to the Secret Garden for nearly a year. I've noticed how happy she seems after attending. In general her mental health has improved in leaps and bounds. Mum was very lonely and confused when left on her own at home. The Secret Garden has been an absolute life line for her and has
made so many new friends.
Reply from Mark Norris, Hub Manager at Secret Garden Day CareThank you so much for taking the time to share this lovely review. A friend became a resident. She was extremely happy at the Home. The staff were all caring, compassionate, industrious and could relate to the individual needs of each resident. Well trained and focussed. The room with en suite was comfortable and with the opportunity to personalise it with ornaments
and pictures. The food was wonderful with meals in the dining room with fellow residents and beverages mid morning and afternoon. Events held within the Home and day excursions occasionally to venues outside. A happy place to be.
Reply from Fiona Gillon, Home Manager at Bay Tree Court Residential Care HomeHello Timothy, thank you for this lovely review it really is appreciated. It was a true pleasure to have had the opportunity to support your friend at Baytree Court, she always had such a positive nature and definitely a great sense of humour! She made real friends with other residents and staff loved spending time with her. We will miss her greatly, but will think of her fondly when feeding the birds which we all know was a passion of hers.

I can't be more pleased with how mum has settled into Royal Court. Having a flat for herself has helped no end I'm sure. The care staff and management are wonderful and go out of their way for all residents. Staff are on hand to check at all times ( day and night) whether mum is in her flat or a communal
area and have such a wonderful caring attitude. The food at Royal Court is great and is very much enjoyed from what I hear. I wouldn't want mum to be anywhere else.

Such a lovely place to entrust your loved one to. All the staff are lovely and they are always visible so it's not a place you would ever feel lonely. They made everything from moving in to the finances easy and relaxed and they are always happy to help and offer advice and support even though I'm not
the resident just the daughter. Very happy both my parents are here.

Mum has now been in Bay Tree for 18 months; she moved after a year in another Home where she was just not happy and complained constantly which was very difficult. After initial teething issues (only with medication) she is very happy and settled, and frequently says it's better service than a 4* hotel!
The staff are absolutely fantastic, caring, kind and cheerful. The cleaning and laundry staff do an excellent job, and I cannot praise the kitchen staff enough who go to so much trouble to work around dietary issues and tastes, the food is fantastic. Fiona is hands-on and approachable, and when you do get the odd issue, gets it sorted promptly and efficiently. Mum has no wish to socialise or join in the numerous activities and she is fully supported in that, with all meals/drinks and snacks brought to her room. Staff pop in constantly to check she is ok, and all her medical needs are looked after including regular physio. I cannot recommend it more highly.
Reply from Fiona Gillon, Home Manager at Bay Tree Court Residential Care HomeHello thank you for this amazing review! I am so pleased that your mum has settled in so well and I think we have built a great relationship with your mum & both you and your husband. Although your mum chooses not to socialise with other residents I do feel that she has managed to become a part of the greater Baytree community, it is a pleasure to have the opportunity to support her. My mother has been in Faithful House for 18 months and is about to celebrate her second Christmas there, she really likes the decorations and with help remembers things from her last christmas. Although occasionally asking if she is coming home she follows this up by saying she's very happy and likes
being at Faithful House and couldn't be in a better place, She still regards the staff as her friends and the residents as her family. ]Her personal care including minor medical issues couldn't be better.
Reply from Dale Booker, Registered Manager at Faithfull House Residential CareThank you so much for your lovely review and kind words. Knowing that she sees our staff as friends and the other residents as her family truly means the world to us, especially at this special time of year. We're also very grateful for your praise of her personal care and the support she receives with her medical needs - this will be warmly shared with our team.

My mother has been in Faithfull Houses care for the last 9 months. I can honestly say I have not visited a care home as excellent.
The home is spotlessly clean, and the food menu is exceptional. The care and concern for everyone's individual needs are second to none, and the staffs lovely, friendly
attitude makes for a relaxed atmosphere.
The activities program is varied and full and the staff do a wonderful job getting everyone involved. My mum is so happy being there. 5* care.

Faithfull House feels like home! My mums who suffers from dementia, settled in quickly into Fauthfull House. The staff are so friendly and caring. They understand my mum and can preempt her needs. My mum has a lovely room and really enjoys the 3-course breakfast, lunch and dinner. The thought and varied
activities offered have stabilised if not improved, her confusion and well-being. She especially enjoys the outing on Tuesday. Mum's family are made to feel so welcome, and visiting is encouraged anytime. We are often made a cup of tea & given a piece of cake by the staff.

I am very pleased with the support and care Mum receives. There is considerable effort put in to encourage her to be involved in the numerous and varied activities on offer. She particularly enjoys the music, singing and dancing! The staff are able to spend time with Mum, to help her with the ups and
downs of adjusting to life in a care home. Mum's faith is important to her. She likes to take part in the church activities and is taken to weekly church services. I am impressed with the bespoke care and support which is provided. Staff are so welcoming and kind - Thank you!

I am very impressed with the care and attention my mum gets at Faithfull House.

Faithfull House has a very consistent team of staff so low staff-turnover which means they are well known to my mum and they know her too.

The home has regular activities and trips. They have a lovely garden area

and large lounge and dining rooms.

If I have any issues, they react quickly to emails and respond quickly.

I highly recommend this care home.
