Could not ask for better from this care home. The staff cannot do anymore to help. They are all friendly, caring and helpful. The food is excellent, the home is clean and everyone has a smile for the residents. I have no concerns about leaving my husband in their capable hands. Thank you.

Lovely clean welcoming care home. individual rooms are clean and adequate with opportunities and encouragement to personalise them. Activities are fabulous - varied, well organised, interesting and fully inclusive

The doctors are excellent too.

When this happened I think we were lucky to find Hassingham, and it has helped all the family to cope with the situation.

My wife has now been at Hassingham House for 14 months with a dementia diagnosis. Over that time she has received, in my view, the best care I could have hoped for. This is mainly down to the dedication and commitment of all staff in delivering that care. They are patient, empathetic and focussed on the wellbeing of every resident.

My lovely mum has been in Hassingham House for three years now. We tried quite a few other homes for respite care for her, but none of them made the grade in our view. However, the moment we placed mum in Hassingham House, we knew we had made the right decision, and we have never once faltered from that view.

The care mum receives from the Manager, nursing staff, care staff and all other ancillary staff, is simply second to none. They have a wonderful events team that keep all the residents engaged and happy, the Carers, kitchen and laundry teams are simply amazing, and nothing is ever too much trouble for any of them. The building has recently undergone a wonderful refurbishment transformation, making it look clean, light and airy and, unlike many care homes that can be a bit 'grim', Hassingham House endeavours to provide a home away from home for its residents that I think is totally unmatched in the wider area. The Manager is, frankly, in our view, exceptional.

My Father was only there less than a month on Palliative care. The Day team were on it with his care and were very sincere too. My only concern was at night as some of the agency staff didn't understand the English language which I think needs addressing, coms is essential with a Patient. Other than that, I was very happy with his care.

Staff all very friendly, always help when needed, cannot do enough for us. lots of activities to do, different things each day. mother in law really enjoys them, lovely to mingle with other resident. love the theme events. BBQ, Singers

She is now eating - she wan't before, inspite of continual efforts. Her room is lovely and bright, and so are the staff. Thank you for helping me.

Our mum was a resident in Hassingham House Care Home for 41/2 years. For 31/2 of those mum was very settled there until the Manager retired and her Assistant Manager, shortly left after her. With the management changes sadly many permanent, experienced qualified staff left, this resulted in more agency staff being employed to fill the void. The head chef also left the home & the food choices became very minimal. They relied primarily on pre-prepared packaged food which unfortunately didn't suit mum's Medical Conditions. She was often given the wrong food which also aggravated her condition. Due to this & other issues regarding severe safe guarding, unexplained bruising to mum's forehead & two conflicting explanations to bruising to mum's leg, general cleanliness of her room and bathroom (which were not addressed by the management). We had no other option than to move mum at very short notice to another Nursing Home in Norwich where she sadly passed away.

Care has been excellent, the people who work there really make the place a home, definitely recommend it.

I recently visited a friend who lives at Hassingham House in Hingham, UK, and I was genuinely impressed by the level of care I witnessed. The staff were warm, attentive, and clearly dedicated to making residents feel comfortable and respected. It was especially nice to see that my friend had real choice in what he wanted to eat, which made the environment feel much more personal and homely. Overall, it was a very positive experience and reassuring to know that my friend is being so well cared for.

When I visited, all the staff were supportive and friendly.

Thank you so much for the care and attention which you provided for the celebration of my parents' 70th wedding anniversary, including a truly splendid buffet and drinks and glasses. The cake was indeed moist and decorated beautifully. You went to a great deal of trouble, which we very much appreciated as a family. You made my parents' day one to remember. Thank you so much,

The staff at Hassingham House looked after my mum with care, kindness and friendship.

VE Day celebrations, bunting, live entertainment, food provided free of charge, organised and curated by staff. Good sing-along for residents and visitors. Helpful friendly staff as always.

My husband was placed in Hassingham for end of life care. Whilst this situation is not a good one for either resident or relatives, our family felt that he was given the utmost care and respect until his final moments. When he could eat, he was surprised by the excellent menu on offer. Even the young carers seem to have been given excellent training, the nursing staff were fully conversant with everything that could be done to ease any pain and is was especially struck by the fact that all of the staff took time to speak with the family when we were struggling. I only gave the rooms a 4* rating because even though they are quite spacious, they could probably do with a little upgrade and my husband could not use and activities because of his poor health. However, I would always prioritise excellent care over a slightly dated room so would recommend to anyone needing such a service.

All in all, Hassingham House is highly recommended by me!

My mother has been cared for at the home and she has been looked after very well. In the 7 years she has been there the staff have been friendly and helpful with the challenges of dementia. I would recommend this home to anyone with a dementia person.

All the staff - managers, admin, carers, cleaning staff, etc. are fantastic and their caring nature and empathy show through constantly. They are so kind and attentive and always on hand to help in any way they can. Nothing is too much trouble. I always feel welcome when I visit and am so grateful for everything that they do. I can't praise them enough.
