Welcome to Grace Manor Care Centre in Gillingham, Kent. Situated on stunning grounds, the classic Manor property offers 24-hour care for those over the age of 55. They are blessed with a long-serving team of nursing and support staff that provide high-quality, person-centred care within a homely environment. They offer long-term, respite and post-operative care and particularly cater for those living with Dementia.

The well-kept care centre comprises 57 bedrooms, 12 of which make up the Dementia unit. A portion of the bedrooms is equipped with an en-suite W.C. and a hand basin. They encourage residents to furnish their new surroundings with familiar pieces of furniture and personal possessions to make them feel truly at home. While the bedrooms provide a tranquil area to rest and relax, the home's cosy sitting rooms and dining room offers residents the opportunity to catch up with friends over a pot of tea, enjoy one of the guest entertainers or simply recline in front of their favourite films.

At Grace Manor, they encourage residents to take part in a range of engaging activities based on their lifestyle needs and preferences. Many of the activities take place within the home environment and include art, handicrafts, visiting entertainers, quiz nights as well as garden parties and summer barbecues. The team empowers individuals to enjoy those everyday routines they cherish, whether that’s having a salon blow-dry and manicure or keeping up to date with their favourite sports. All are encouraged and available. Residents enjoy shopping days as well as seasonal trips to the seaside.

Grace Manor's professional catering team delivers nutritionally balanced meals that are appealing to its residents. The home's professional food suppliers specialise in delivering high-quality food designed specifically for the healthcare sector.

My father needed more care than we could safely provide and we selected Grace Manor following a previous visit and feeling that the home could be right for my father. All the team have been very supportive in getting my father settled into the home. All the team show him kindness and interest in him
as an individual, which has been very important in helping him settle and feel safe in his new environment. It was a very big and emotional decision for us and this has certainly been made smoother by the support we received. When I say 'all the team' this covers the nurses, carers, dinner staff, laundry and maintenance - who I have seen address my father in a kind respectful way.

Mum is very happy at Grace Manor Care Centre, she enjoys the activities, loves her room which has all her photos and her own furniture. She loves to be outside which the staff are well aware of so on any nice day (summer and winter) they will sit her outside in the lovely garden. The staff are so attentive
and take the time to chat and have a laugh with her. She is still able to get out to her other activities but is always warmly welcomed home.

Most of the staff are lovely and some do care. But let's just say I've seen more than enough!
If you really care about your loved ones think long and hard before leaving them alone at Grace Manor! And I wasn't the only relative that had problems.

We are very happy with Grace Manor Care Centre. They have been excellent with my Mum who suffered with a stroke. She is very happy and comfortable, she enjoys the food and the activities provided most days. All the carers are very friendly and attentive and the management are very helpful to any queries

Our mum had a month's stay at Grace Manor, in November 2024, following an accident at home. In that short time, the staff were really good to her and so caring, from the maintenance staff, laundry lady, care staff and nurses. Before being taken ill, our mum did enjoy some activities, which completely
surprised us, thanks to one lady. She was pleased to be featured on social media. Mum always liked the food, praise indeed.
Mum's health took a sudden turn for the worse and the level of care and compassion given was maintained. Thanks to everybody, for looking after our mum and making her last days as good as they could.

From the first moments of contact with Grace Manor I have been extremely happy with the care and attention my wife has received. Nothing is too much trouble and any issues are dealt with without fuss. She is in the best place and has actually improved from being non-verbal and almost immobile to just

Since my dad has been a resident here he has received the best care, the staff go above and beyond and always greet him with a smile which really does make a difference. Having a parent in a care home is not something I ever thought I would have to deal with so knowing he is well looked after helps
massively. There is always something on to keep the residents entertained which is great, and any concerns I have are always listened to and dealt with promptly. Thank you, Grace Manor!

The staff treated my mum really well, my mum was looked after really well, with good hygiene and cleanliness, good food and good administration. Overall the home is a very good care home, when we brought my mom here the staff were good to her from day one.

My brother is in the care centre for dementia care and has been there for a few years and the care he receives seems to be helping him best knowing his situation.
We receive a video call from the nurse with my brother there every two weeks and it seems to help him as well.
We visited him recently
and all the staff there were polite and seemed to know all about him.

I was referred to Grace Manor as I'm terminally ill. My reception I can only describe as fantastic. On arrival I had a lot of trepidation, which was allayed by the wonderful staff and since I've been here they have been nothing short of amazing, caring and professional. All my life I wanted to care for older adults and make a difference in their life. Becoming a home manager was the ultimate way to do so. However, being a home manager is so much more than looking after older adults and I realised that looking after your staff is paramount to delivering good quality care. Creating an open and honest culture with staff, recognising their achievements and actively engaging, supporting staff and valuing staff is paramount. If you have a happy and content staff team, you have happy residents. I believe a manager should be a great role model who is passionate, hands-on and motivated with a great sense of humour.


Grace Manor Care Centre is our older adult’s home, we are proud of our warm and welcoming environment, and we will always be here for a chat. It is important that both our older residents and their families are included and feel at home. It is always the highlight of my role to see these residents smiling and laughing again.
