We are very happy with Grace Manor Care Centre. They have been excellent with my Mum who suffered with a stroke. She is very happy and comfortable, she enjoys the food and the activities provided most days. All the carers are very friendly and attentive and the management are very helpful to any queries I might have. Overall we are very happy with Grace Manor Care Centre and would recommend to anyone.

Our mum had a month's stay at Grace Manor, in November 2024, following an accident at home. In that short time, the staff were really good to her and so caring, from the maintenance staff, laundry lady, care staff and nurses. Before being taken ill, our mum did enjoy some activities, which completely surprised us, thanks to one lady. She was pleased to be featured on social media. Mum always liked the food, praise indeed.

Mum's health took a sudden turn for the worse and the level of care and compassion given was maintained. Thanks to everybody, for looking after our mum and making her last days as good as they could.

Since my dad has been a resident here he has received the best care, the staff go above and beyond and always greet him with a smile which really does make a difference. Having a parent in a care home is not something I ever thought I would have to deal with so knowing he is well looked after helps massively. There is always something on to keep the residents entertained which is great, and any concerns I have are always listened to and dealt with promptly. Thank you, Grace Manor!

Very pleased. My husband now joins in some activities. He has been to a fast food outlet plus a trip to the seaside. He is very settled here.

Staff makes a big effort with him. He looks smart and care for.

My brother is in the care centre for dementia care and has been there for a few years and the care he receives seems to be helping him best knowing his situation.
We receive a video call from the nurse with my brother there every two weeks and it seems to help him as well.
We visited him recently and all the staff there were polite and seemed to know all about him.

All our thanks go out to all the staff there and to continue as you are.

I was referred to Grace Manor as I'm terminally ill. My reception I can only describe as fantastic. On arrival I had a lot of trepidation, which was allayed by the wonderful staff and since I've been here they have been nothing short of amazing, caring and professional. I would highly recommend Grace Manor.

Grace Manor has cared for my dad for the last 10 months until he sadly died recently. During his time there I can honestly say we as a family and my dad were treated with genuine care, respect and dignity. The staff are brilliant, always willing to chat with us and my dad and always with a smile on their face. I truly believe that given my dad's circumstances, he couldn’t have wished for a more dignified and comfortable stay/experience anywhere else.

I don’t think I’m allowed to reference individual names but some went way above what I would expect. Our heartfelt thanks to everyone who cared for my dad and I would not hesitate to recommend Grace Manor.

My mother has resided in Grave Manor since June 2018, and the overall level of care has been extremely good; my mum was very happy and settled there. The carers were consistent and to a high standard, and my mum was treated with dignity. Sadly, my mum passed away recently. I have no reservations about recommending Grace Manor Care Centre to anyone. Thank you for looking after my mum.

My aunt's room always appears clean and well looked after. The staff are great with her, she can be difficult when she doesn't want to do something but they handle those situations well. The staff are friendly and always have a smile for my aunt and her visitors. Every staff member is polite and courteous and will listen and answer any questions asked. The manager is always available if needed and friendly, she will always make time in her busy schedule for questions. I would recommend this care home to others.

My wife, who has Alzheimer's with challenging behaviour, is being looked after with not just care but with love. Compared with her previous residential home this one is in the 'premier league'. When I visit they look after me as if I were a resident, unbelievable. I couldn't be happier and neither could she.

All my life I wanted to care for older adults and make a difference in their life. Becoming a home manager was the ultimate way to do so. However, being a home manager is so much more than looking after older adults and I realised that looking after your staff is paramount to delivering good quality care. Creating an open and honest culture with staff, recognising their achievements and actively engaging, supporting staff and valuing staff is paramount. If you have a happy and content staff team, you have happy residents. I believe a manager should be a great role model who is passionate, hands-on and motivated with a great sense of humour.

Grace Manor Care Centre is our older adult’s home, we are proud of our warm and welcoming environment, and we will always be here for a chat. It is important that both our older residents and their families are included and feel at home. It is always the highlight of my role to see these residents smiling and laughing again.
