They provide specialist care for younger people with neurological and spinal conditions, and elderly people with or without Dementia. The purpose-built home comprises 64 single bedrooms, all with en-suite facilities. They encourage residents to furnish their new surroundings with familiar pieces of furniture and personal possessions to make them feel truly at home. While the bedrooms provide a tranquil area to rest and relax, the bright and attractive communal day rooms offer residents the opportunity to catch up with friends, enjoy one of the home's visiting entertainers or simply recline in front of their favourite films.

At Bridgeside Lodge, they encourage residents to take part in a range of engaging activities based on their lifestyle needs and preferences. Many of their activities take place within the home environment and include arts/crafts, quiz nights and musical evenings. In the summer, they host garden parties and barbecues on their riverside terrace.
