I coudn't recommend Deidre and her lovely team at Cheverton Lodge enough. My father has lived there for the last 3 years and has been exceptionally well looked after by everyone. The carers are absolutely brilliant and very kind. They always prioritise my Dad's needs. They frequently keep the family
up to date with his health. They are always very accommodating and very friendly when we visit. My Dad has been very happy.

Cheverton Lodge is always very warm and welcoming. My mother is well cared for and is treated respectfully. It is not easy for formerly independent, active and creative people to manage this lifestyle change so the thoughtful attention and understanding she receives is welcome. .

The staff have been very responsive and helpful and this is very much appreciated. GM has proactively contacted me for any issues arising and this gets proper attention.
Harry seems more settled in Cheverton.

Very friendly and welcoming staff. Couldn't ask for a nicer environment. Alan has been beer happy here. He was inevitably a bit lost to begin with but after two weeks he seemed very much at home. I have known him for 60 years.

Barchester Cheverton Lodge is bright and cheery thanks to friendly and caring staff. Residents are made to feel welcome and safe. Communication especially by phone is sometimes cumbersome and the activities are not always tailored to all but overall my father had a good time at the lodge.

Lazyest carers I've encountered, unable to automatically do basic care needs and tasks. No cleanliness or hygiene has EVER been carried out in my fathers batheroom or bedroom. I always have to request for bedsheets to get changed, then I'm met with attitude by staff. Overall poor. Staff/carers do
nothing aside from sit on their phones and get annoyed if you request something.

Cheverton Lodge has provided the highest levels of care and comfort to our elderly Mother. The staff are professional and are quick to advise on any issues. My mother tells us the food is always good, and she enjoys the group events and other social activities. Cheverton Lodge operates successfully
due to the home's managers' professionalism and skill.

My friend has been at Cheverton Lodge for 3 months now. She settled in very quickly, and easily, due to the skills and friendliness of the staff. She is very well cared for, she has put on weight and she is happy to take part in the varied activities organised by the home. She is happy here. I
couldn't fault the care she is given.

Beautifully situated in a peaceful, sunny enclave, looking out over greenery & the countryside.
Immaculately clean with great communal spaces & activities. Great food choices & menus to suit.
Lovely, happy staff who are incredibly conscientious, kind, who we know by name + who feel like friends.
(Under the watchful eyes of the manager who leads by being present).
Love that the family & dog can drop in & out to suit our erratic timetables & are always welcome.
Cannot recommend enough as they go the extra distance.

My sister came to this nursing home over a month ago from the moment we came in the reception was so warm and welcoming. From the manager to every member of staff they were so warm and welcoming that one feels at home straight away.
Its very comfortable place. Very clean. Everyone is very
accamidating, from the chief to the nurses and every member are amazing
My special thanks to the manager, he is frindly accammodating kind and supporting. I 100% recommend this place

My mum has been here for just over 2 weeks now & we don't have a single bad word to say.
The care she has been given has been amazing.
No task is too big or too much to ask for.
I could not recommend it enough! :)

My sister came her after being in hospital, we viewed Cheverton Lodge on her behalf and straight away were very impressed by how clean + modern the place is. The manager gave us a tour and answered all of our questions. (we had a lot :) ) We have found all of the staff to be very helpful and caring.
My sister is very happy here and feels at home. We can't thank all of the team enough, to many people to mention that we have met so far. Thank you Cheverton Lodge :)

I am a friend of a resident and would like to say that what I have seen so far, the level of care and staff here are amazing! My friend doesn't seem to want for anything and the building and room she is in is very well looked after.
I know that my friend seems to be happy with the level of care!!

Excellent attention given to my aunt in her short time here. Only moving to be closer to her family.
My aunt has signficantly improved from being here and thank you to all the staff here.

My sister in law has dementia and Barchester Cheverton Lodge Care Home has been a wonderful choice for her. The staff are caring and attentive. The facility is clean and well-maintained. The activities keep her engaged and active. It's good for us to see her settled in.

Cheverton Lodge has provided my grandma with nurturing and enriching care. The staff have always been friendly and caring. The tea, coffee and brownies are always tasty.

My sister came to Cheverton Lodge for a month's respite. She was made comfortable by the excellent facilities and by the friendly and accommodating staff. My sister is now a permanent resident at Cheverton Lodge and I am very impressed by all that Cheverton Lodge has to offer.
