View Full Details of Havelock Court Care HomeI would like to say a BIG THANK YOU to the staff of Havelock Court Care Home for making my friend's 96th birthday very special, with balloons, birthday cake, nail polishing, video and more. During my visit on my friends birthday at Havelock Court Care Home I saw how caring, helpful, pleasant, kind & professional the staff were towards my friend. It was a very happy day for my friend. Thank you very much.
I would like to express my apologies for not attending the residents' and relatives meeting on Tuesday 27th March. My legs have been troublesome. The only issue I would like to raise is the difficulty with the phones at weekends, when family and friends often have a problem getting through to the correct floor. It is different during the week, as there is an option to be put through to either the Marie Antoinette or the Wynne suite.
Nice care home, staff are friendly, caring, hardworking. The food is amazing and residents have their choice of meals provided for them. Large dinning room so residents can eat and drink together with nice music and activities after lunch.
I think the care home is very good. The staff are very pleasant and helpful. My friend, who is a service user, seems very comfortable but complains about the food.
All the people who work with my Uncle are extremely kind and considerate of his special needs. They keep me informed about his condition and state of mind.
I come to the care home and staff are helpful and kind. My family member is looking very well and healthy. He is happy and we as a family are very happy. Love the kitchen staff and the receptionist is awesome.
Since my father has been at the Care Home, his health has improved a lot. The very friendly staff and carers do their best to take very good care of him and even take the time, during their busy day, to have chats with him. We are always made to feel welcome when we go to visit him by the reception, managers, staff, nurses, carers and a number of the residents. The rooms are a good size with television and toilet facilities and there are meeting rooms for when larger groups of friends and family come to visit. We and my father are very happy with the care that he receives.
I found the staff to be very friendly. They also were hard-working but seemed to really care about the residents. My friend when I visited seemed very well looked after and the staff took time to talk to him and make his environment as close to home as possible. The room and rest of the building were kept very clean and tidy with plenty to stimulate the residents. It's good to know care of this standard exists for people in need.
Good care. The carers do their job well and look after the residents. It isn't possible for them to help with physiotherapy or give medical advice. Base good care is what they give. The residents can choose it they want to do the activities that are going on. No pressure.
The receptionist the lady, she is very kind, polite and very helpful.
I think my brother is in good hands, as I'm not always able to see him as much as I like to. The staff here are quite friendly and look after my brother very well. Unable to say about the management as not really sure who is the manager. My brother's room is always nice and clean. Also, not sure about the facilities.
My friend has been in the care home for 16 months, generally, the staff always do extremely well in sometimes difficult circumstances. In my honest opinion, the staff work very hard due to lack of staffing! also, the main dinners are sub standard with just a sandwich being offered. last but not least when I finish visiting my friend, I have to wait in the reception for up to 20 minutes for someone to let me out, personally for security purposes the reception desk should be manned 24 hours. Apart from this, all the staff are amazing! extremely kind and professional. This type of work is done from the heart and definitely not for the money.
Good staff and atmosphere. Dad is treated with care and respect and enjoys the activities available at the care home. The carers keep good attention to him and remember his routines and what he enjoys doing. I am very happy with his treatment.
A special thank you to the staff at Havelock for caring for me and looking after my needs. The staff are caring, friendly and compassionate. There is a range of activities that residents can participate daily and trips to go on throughout the year. Senior activities coordinator, care staff, maintenance manager and the receptionist team in the home are very helpful and go the extra mile. Housekeeping staff do a great job as the home is always clean and tidy. I am also very excited for the refurbishment in the home to be completed as it's looking amazing so far. Soon I will be having my room done and I have had the opportunity to choose how I would like it to look. The food is good and there are different options to choose from although it would be nice to have something different at times like a Chinese homemade meal, hot dog or pizza.
When Dad had to be taken into a care home we were distraught, didn't know what to expect and had tried to cope with his worsening health at home for as long as we could. But we couldn't have found a better place for him. The staff are just unbelievable, especially through these trying times we have had. My Dad is always clean and tidy and happy. He eats well and is so content. Every time I visit I'm made so welcome and we are kept up to date with anything we need to know. For the first time in a very long time, we have had good nights sleep knowing that he is in safe kind and caring hands. Thank you, all of you.
I just cannot thank your staff enough for their patience with my brother as he can be awkward at times, every time I visit him he is clean and respectable and the staff love him. My God bless you all.
Hello, I am happy when I come to the care home to see my friend. I know he's well looked after. I would like to have better contact with him, I try to ring him sometimes, but it is very hard to get through to him. I have not spoken to Brian since December. I hope contact can improve.
The care for my mother is excellent the staff from reception to face to face carers is fantastic The only downside is lack of communication from office management to families since Covid commenced, something as simple as fortnightly update/newsletter by email would have made a difference instead of continually probing as to what's happening.
The home manager is very supportive nurses and care staff are very helpful and supportive and courteous I enjoy living at Havelock Court Care Home. I have a lovely room and have my own personal items in my room.
My Son currently lived in Havelock Court for eleven years now, and I must say this is the best place for him, this is like a home from home. He is treated like a family in the home, all staff are aware of his illness. The Home Manager, Nurses, care staff, activity staff, housekeeping and the Reception staff cares for him and treat him like one of the family. The Home keeps me informed at all times with respect to his needs. When I visits the home, I noticed that he is always well dressed and very happy. The family attended a Fine Dining Experience at the home in respect to Jason's 50th Birthday celebration, the home and the kitchen staff went overboard with the preparation of the day, food was excellent and the attention relating to his life since he was admitted in the home. All the family was overwhelmed with the food and the service provided for his Birthday. We cannot thank everyone enough in so many words as I can see that he is well cared for.
