my father has been at Bourn house for over 2 years, the staff are friendly and seem well trained, I am in care myself so I take a very serious interest. When I did have a problem (not with the care) it was delt with promptly. They have a lot of activities for residents and do day trips, to garden centres and alike. There are things going on in the garden in the nice weather. They always celebrate birthdays and they make their own caked which are delicious. The home is clean and well kept and there is no smell in there, the food is cooked on site and looks lovely and my dad has a cooked breakfast each day which he loves. He is monitored and his health is good, he has dementia and bed bound he is clean and he is checked regularly for pressure sores, and if there treated quickly. I would recommend to anybody looking for a nursing home for a loved one.

From the moment we viewed Bourne House, the staff have been excellent, friendly and professional. Nothing is too much trouble. Residents are treated with care and dignity. The rooms are bright and well kept. No complaints and only very positive feedback. Thank you to the manager and her team.

My mother has been at Bourne House Surbiton, since October 2024 and we as a family are very happy, the care has been exceptional. Very happy.

The home is well staffed with carers and other staff that have time to talk to us and the residents. As my mum is fully bed bound and suffers dementia type systems she cannot clearly communicate, but she is in good health and is happy, especially with Trevor, everyone favourite .

Staff are extremely friendly, always say hello and goodbye and interact. I'm kept informed about Mum and her medication regularly. More importantly, Mum is always happy, and that is a huge relief for the family.

I would have liked to write 'excellent' on here but it is not so. Entering the home & walking around the decor is bright, cheerful, attractive - for visitors. Patients are mostly not interested. Our experience leads us to believe our grievances are due to low ratio of staff to patients. On top floor 1-2-1 all was well now on 1st floor - jumble of wrong clothing with wrong names, valuable items (electric razor, electric toothbrush, toiletries) vanished. Partner left alone with wrong or no clothes when visited. Shoes missing etc.

Mum has settled in much better than I thought she would thank too the caring staff. Bourne House is well run, clean and mum is well treated. It is nice to see mum join in the well managed activities. Overall very happy with the care provided.

Each and every one of the staff were so caring in looking after me and my husband in the months leading up to and at the time of his passing. I could not have wished for anything more. Each resident is treated with care and respect at all times

Bourne house in my view is a first class home, my mother has settle here and is looked after well in my option, keep up the good work to all the staff including a great management.

My wife has been in Bourne House for 15 months and despite her dementia is very settled and content. She is comfortable and well looked after by a very caring staff and activities team. They cater to the individual needs of the residents and there are outings and musicians available. I am catered for with refreshments when I visit and made welcome. I thoroughly recommend this home.

We are so grateful for the care and attention my father is receiving at Bourne House. From the moment he arrived, the staff have been nothing short of incredible, friendly, professional and always willing to go the extra mile to ensure his comfort and well-being. We are very happy with the facilities. The room is spacious, clean and the decor creates a warm, homely environment. We highly recommend Bourne House to anyone looking for a place where their loved ones will be treated with the utmost respect and compassion.

My Mum was looked after by Bourne House for over 4 years, at every visit we would find excellent and sensitive care being provided by all staff in a highly professional manner. During Mum's last few days, we found the care being sensitive to her condition and her failing health, the family were encouraged to visit with her during her last days and we were highly supported by all staff at all levels. Mum passed very peacefully and the professional care continued throughout and beyond her final hours. With all thanks to Bourne House for looking after Mum/Nan/Sister, you are all beyond outstanding in what you do.

We arrived unannounced and found our relative looking well, clean and presentable. Several staff were available to make our visit as easy as it could be. We were able to discuss our relatives ongoing medical and physical needs and left confident that our relative was in good hands.

Bourne House is wonderful. The premises is always in pristine condition. The management is excellent. The carers are superb. It is a top class team and premises. My wife is calm and happy, therefore I am happy too. Bourne House has got to be the best care home in my opinion.

The staff at Bourne House are the gentlest, kindest team of carers. The atmosphere is always calm, respectful, happy and welcoming. Everyone, residents and visitors, are always met with a warm, welcoming smile. I feel constantly grateful that my mother found her way here.
