I cannot thank the team enough for all the care and support they offered my mother in her last month at Brook House. It was with a heavy heart that she could not return to her own home after suffering a fall in October but her condition was such that she needed round the clock care. They encouraged
her to eat and drink and engaged her in conversation when she was able. Every member of staff showed a caring and compassionate attitude at all times to our the family and especially when it became much more tough towards the end of her life. Sadly she became very poorly at Christmas and staff changes which were inevitable during this time did not detract for the excellent care she had before and after; they all got to know my mother very quickly and were very understanding. I cannot fault anything about the wonderful home and I would like to extend my heartfelt thanks to everyone.

Brook house supported my mum in her last few months of her life and we have no regrets in choosing this care home for my mum every senior nurse was outstanding they went above and beyond to make sure my mother was comfortable at all times and always updated us family by phone of any changes and
updates .. a special thank you to the lady's who was on shift of the morning of 5-10-25 we are very grateful that you all done your very best to support us as family as well as mum by still keeping her dignity until her body was recovered from the home thank you once again x

A care home should be so much more than the bricks that create the structure, and the staff at Brook House get this. After caring for my father at home for 7 years, moving him into a care home was an emotional rollercoaster, but how glad am I that this is where we chose for him.
The staff operate
like a family and treat the residents and families in the same vein. Attentive, individual and personal care delivered with respect and dignity. To the wonderful ladies and gents who make my father's time at Brook House happy and comfortable, I can't thank you enough.
At the helm, you have a care home manager who leads by example. His first priority is always the well-being happiness and safety of his residents and staff. It's obvious to see that he doesn't just work at Brook House, he lives it. Always present, always available and always working hard to maintain the incredibly high standards all lucky enough to have family here have come to expect.

My dad is at Barchester Brook House Care Home and I am so Happy he is to be Honest. The manager and his staff go over and beyond for their residence they really care about the people they care for, God love them. My dad knew it was my big birthday this year and asked the staff and my family could we
celebrate in the home? No problem. I can not fault the kindness and love and total dedication Brook House staff have and will go to make the people they care for and their families happy 100%. Your loved ones will be truly cared for by the most amazing and dedicated people. Thank you for putting my point of view forward.

My wife is looked after with exceptional levels of care. She is treated with dignity at all times. The care staff are friendly and polite at all times. I am confident that she is receiving the best possible care at all times.

Brook House Care Home was not our choice as my mum was discharged from the hospital to their care. I didn't have enough words to compliment all at Brook House on their standards. The love and care that are shown towards Mum, understanding her needs and accommodating her preferences. There is a lot
of warmth from the moment you enter the building to when you leave. I couldn't have chosen a better place myself for my mum to recover. Thank you to all at Brook House Care Home.

My mother has now been in Brook House Care Home for just over a year now. My siblings and I are all very impressed with the care and attention always given to our mother at all times. The staff are always so caring and understanding of her needs. The food is very good and the dining room and the
overall appearance of the home are very welcoming.

Whenever I visit my father the staff are very polite and helpful. My father's room is always clean and tidy and he seems well cared for. The staff treat me with respect and my father also. Thanks very much.

I personally have been mortally impressed with the level of care happening at its place. I can't exaggerate a good view of the establishment. All I can do is say thanks a lot.

My aunty is very happy here. She won't leave her room but she still seems okay. She doesn't eat the food, only small pieces of toast and drinks lots of the vitamin drinks provided. She won't take part in any activities, value for money, in her case it's way too much.

Really great quality care - had my grandmum there for over a year and all the staff including the housekeeping to management are exceptional - the manager is there every Sunday and the staff are well trained and well organised. A truly caring and homely home.

I and all my family feel very welcome here every time we visit my father. The manager, receptionist, carers, nurses and even the cleaners are all friendly and caring. I am very happy with the care my father gets.

I visited my dad with his great-granddaughter (just started walking) he hasn’t seen her for a good few months and he was so happy watching her. The weather was nice. We went into the garden and they provided tea, coffee, biscuits and cake. The staff are so friendly and pleasant making sure we had
everything we needed. My dad has improved so much since being in their care. They have him up and getting involved in activities in the home. He is having physio and has even started walking a little bit. Dad seems happy which is lovely to see and smiles and laughs with the staff. They are happy to have families visit the care home. It has a lovely friendly atmosphere and is very clean.

As a regular visitor, I am aware of the dedication, respect and care shown to all residents (often staff are unaware that I am visiting an adjoining room when they are offering a first-rate service). Brook House offers a caring, family atmosphere not only to their residents but also to their

I visited my father today at 11:20 am we were able to go up to his room where wonderful carers were helping him out of bed. We took him downstairs after this and went and sat in the pristine garden where we sat down and 2 members from the kitchen brought us out a pot of tea and biscuits. We sat in
the garden with my father until lunchtime and he seemed very happy and chatty. We took him back inside and he asked to have his lunch in the dining room. We were able to sit with him during lunch and the kind staff offered us lunch which was appetizing. The facilities were clean and tidy with the staff all having smiles on their faces and treating us kindly.

The care home that my dad is in is a wonderful place for him, he is getting all the care he needs. The staff are absolutely great with him, very friendly and kind to my dad, encouraging him to get up out of bed and join in with the activities that are available on that day. He was very clean and
tidy. It is such an improvement on the last home he was in.
