View Full Details of Clairleigh Nursing HomeMy father went into Clairleigh for a month of respite care in May. He thoroughly enjoyed his time there, any nerves we had as a family were quickly abated by the kindness and professionalism of the staff. He was very well cared for by everyone and made to feel like part of the family. I can't speak highly enough about every aspect of Clairleigh and I a very grateful for the way the wonderful staff looked after him.
Caring, kind and attentive staff. Lovely surroundings and lots of stimulation and entertainment. The home is kept in good condition, clean and the rooms are well furnished. Good nursing team who address any concerns.
Dad stayed at Clairleigh for two months following a spell in hospital earlier in the year. We we delighted with the care and kindness he received at Clairleigh. He has severe dementia and Alzheimer's, and the staff at Clairleigh looked after his every need extremely well. The staff are lovely and the home itself looks more like a boutique five star hotel than a nursing home - it's extremely smart and spotlessly clean. Although he was unable to participate due to his condition, the home has a wonderful entertainment and activity programme for the residents. Mum would visit almost every day and she got to enjoy and take part in the fun, which was lovely for her. They have a truly gorgeous garden there for the residents to enjoy. It's a place I would be more than happy to live at when I'm old and need good care. Thank you everyone at Clairleigh for helping us at a difficult time.
My father stayed at Clairleigh after having suffered a stroke in January 2025. He also has mild dementia/Alzheimer's. Clairleigh really is a wonderful care home. We couldn't fault the staff. They were so lovely and caring and patient. Our father was extremely well cared for during his time at the home. He made a great recovery and we now have him back at home with us but should we ever need additional care for him in the future, we would have no hesitation in returning him to Clairleigh!
Mum was a resident of Clairleigh from November 2021 until her death in January 2025. The care she received was excellent and she thoroughly enjoyed joining in the many activities and visits provided. Her health particularly her mental health improved after she moved in thanks to the engagement with the staff and other residents. Towards the end of 2024 she became increasingly frail and sadly died in early January 2025. The end of life care she received from both the nurses and care staff enabled her to stay at the home rather than have to go into hospital. This care at the end of her life was outstanding, both the kindness and professionalism of all the staff helped both her and the family during this difficult time. A special mention for a certain member of staff and the Activities team for all their hard work and the way they treat all with dignity.
Staff at Clairleigh Nursing Home are so professional and helpful and plenty of them. They take care of my mum (now bed-bound) and we turn up at random times and always see great nursing. We really recommend Clairleigh.
A delightful respite experience. Very good care. Very clean, food good - altogether excellent.
I cannot praise this home enough, they genuinely care for their residents. My mother was admitted in July 2024, and the staff from the nurses to the carers and management and entertainment are completely committed to making my mum's new life as comfortable as possible. I visit at various times of the day and have always been welcomed. My mother seems very happy and I know that she feels confident in their hands. Thank you Clairleigh Nursing Home.
I came to Clairleigh after a hospital stay for partial hip replacement resulting from a fall. Feel fortunate to have secured a room here as care has been exceptional. It is personal care, all carers are friendly and helpful and mindful of my needs. The facilities are excellent and all residents appear happy and well looked after. There is a happy atmosphere enhanced by many activities that are all encouraged to take part in.
My Father was cared for, for 2 years at Claorleigh Care Home, Bromley. I and my family cannot speak more highly of the home. The level of care and compassion at all times are outstanding! Numerous meetings are held and staff go that extra mile always. It is a lovely setting being clean and bright. What a super place, which made the last 2 years for my Father the best they could have been.
I have an old friend who has been at Clairleigh for about two years. I visit her each week and I have been very impressed. I think the most important thing when thinking of a care home is the staff" All those I met are just the best. They genuinely love their residents. There is plenty of entertainment for those who want to partake. I was amazed at how quickly my friend accepted her new life. She has a very comfortable en-suite room and can spend as much time as she wants there. Having seen several care homes I would highly recommend Clairleigh.
The day-to-day care at Clairleigh is very good. My Mother has dementia and her needs are usually met by highly trained competent staff. The activities are exceptional and the activity team could not be more dedicated to making Clairleigh the happy and welcoming home it is.
My Father spent the last 5 months of his life at Clairleigh Nursing Home. All of the staff were loving, patient, and very kind to my Dad who had Alzheimer's. Dad passed away peacefully and the night staff made the sad time more bearable. I will have fond memories of Dad's last days, great entertainment, and genuine caring staff.
I am very pleased to have got my wife into Clairleigh. My family and I find it very satisfactory. I cannot answer to final question about value for money as we have that under assessment currently and I do not know how much I will have to pay.
My Mother has dementia and has very little short-term memory but the activities and the many social events brought into the home, with music and singing, has the most amazing effect. She can remember the words and sings with a smile on her face. She enjoys the armchair and attends the hairdresser weekly.
I visited my dear friend on Wednesday 27th December, who is with you for what is probably end-of-life care. I was very impressed with what I saw: staff, establishment, level of care, monitoring and attention. I couldn't have hoped for better. I left with comfort in the knowledge that my friend could not be in a better place. Thank you so much.
After a long stay in hospital my mum moved into Clairleigh eight years ago. The care is exceptional and the staff genuinely care about the people they are looking after. The residents are all treated as individuals and all their needs are taken care of. Standards of the home are very high, it is extremely well kept with great facilities. I think that so many of the staff seem to have been there for a long time, which is a good indication of the way the home is run and the benefit of that for the residents is immeasurable.
Hello, everyone looking for a lovely care home for a loved one then I recommend Clairleigh. My wife has been in the home since 2018 even with all the difficulties a care home has to deal with Covid etc. Everyone in the home has been lovingly looked after and cared for. Yes, I can highly recommend Clairleigh Nursing Home. Thanks for looking after my wife. Love to you all.
Found Clairleigh to be a well-run nursing home and very clean. The staff was very kind and willing to do the little extra things for my father and the day-to-day care was very good. The entertainment team were excellent and the support from the team since the passing of my father has been a great comfort to the family.
I have enjoyed being here. The staff are helpful and the residents I have spoken to have all been polite and helpful. Hope I have been too.
