Our family member was at St Jude's Nursing Home for the last six months of her life. I can state that she received excellent care, delivered with love and compassion. Although we live 200 miles away, the nursing team & manager kept us fully informed & communication was superb. Many thanks to you
all.

My mum was very happy at St Judes. We looked at a few care homes and found that St Judes was so friendly and warm and comfortable. The staff were fabulous. My mother has great care and as a family we were all made so welcome.

My wife is well looked after within the confines of the nursing home. She is always clean and well fed. The staff make great efforts to ensure entertainment is appropriate with someone with my wife's condition (dementia), and they try to keep her interested in activities. Visitors and relatives ae
kept up to date with my wife's health and well-being.

This is the best nursing home I have ever been in.

St Jude's is a very happy and caring home. The staff greet you with a smile as soon as you enter the premises and the staff are very caring, if there are any problems that need addressing they will try to sort the problem or they will find somebody who can sort the problem out. Great staff from the
top, down to all the other jobs that need doing.

Quality of care is very good. clinical nurses have a good knowledge and scare staff is friendly and approachable.Doctor visits once a week but sometimes their visits seem a bit rushed. There is a good range of activities. Food is very good with a wide variety of both savories and puddings. The
nursing home has been decorated nicely giving it a very homely feels. Extended services in hairdressing, podiatry and dentist.

The support and care provided were to a high standard. The staff were attentive and compassionate. Spending long periods of time at the home you were always made welcome as a family. We felt that St Jude's provided all the support, and more we needed particularly in the final couple of weeks. Thank
you St Jude's.

St Jude's is an extremely very good place to be. Every staff and management are very helpful and I would recommend to anybody that St Jude's is the place to be. Keep up the good work St Jude's.

My experience with St Jude's is good. My brother is looked after very well, I frequently ask him if he's okay and if people working there are kind to him, if he's listened to and if he likes the food and his answers are always yes. I am going by what he tells me. My experience with the care home is
very good, visits are allowed at anytime, visitors are always made to feel welcome, refreshments are offered and the staff are always friendly and kind. I try and visit my brother once a week and he looks relaxed and settled, all washed and tidy. If I have any issues or questions the manager and staff are always available to help.

We looked at quite few Nursing Homes but decided the best one for our needs was St.Judes. The management were very good although we did find some language problems with the nursing staff.
The occupants were entertained most days with games and quizzes.
My brother was in St.Judes for 6 years
suffering from Vascular Dementia and he was able to join in with the daily activities.
We always felt welcome when we visited him and usually had a cup of tea and a piece of cake.
We were kept up to date with any variations in his condition.

My mother was a resident at St Jude's for only a very short time, but during her stay, I found everyone very helpful, kind and supportive. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend St Jude's to family or friends.

Dad went to St Judes as he was no longer able to care for himself. Dad was fiercely independent so being cared for was extremely difficult for him. St Judes settled dad and he began to see St Judes as his home. Dad loves the snug and happiest looking at the well kept gardens. When visiting dad we
were greeted with a smile and offer of a cup of tea. We did at times have concerns which we addressed with the staff who listened and together we resolved. There were a few communication problems, English was not the first language for some of the staff but with patience on both sides we managed to sort out the differences. We would have liked dad to have activities which were more suited to him eg speakers, topics politics, gardening, world events, hobbies. However, dad and I watched a lovely entertainer who visited St Judes and she was great fun. We recognise dad was a complex resident and required towards the end intensive care St Judes were respectful and kind. To note: St Judes manager and deputy were professional and efficient at all times.

I received a request to send a review 1 month after the death of my dear brother, who lived in St Jude's Nursing Home in Sutton for 18months before his death in July.
I visited twice a week, during this time, the carers and nurses were very kind, and he appeared to be well looked after. However,
I am saddened to say that apart from a corporate sympathy card, I have had no acknowledgement of my bereavement, no phone call, no message of sympathy, and worse still, not one member of St Jude's staff attended his funeral, which has left me saddened and feeling very upset. No one bothered to contact me.

Lovely, friendly, professional staff, made mum feel at home right up to her final days. Mum felt comfortable and happy during her time there.
15 May 2025
The home is very clean and pleasant, with plenty of rooms to occupy. The food is very good and plentiful. The health care assistants are very kind and supportive. The nurses are approachable and helpful. The activities coordinators are imaginative and supportive. The managers are very kind and
helpful. Overall would thoroughly recommend.

Having look at 10 care homes in the area one Sunday, I was pleased St Jude's had a vacancy for my 86 year old husband. St Jude's is not like a 5 star hotel, it is more homely and the staff know how to treat their clients with kindness. My husband, who had dementia, was difficult at the beginning of
his stay, but all the carers were so unbelievably patient. My husband died on 14th November.
If I need a care home, St Jude's would be the first and only one I would choose.

Overall, the family and friends of my brother were very pleased with virtually all aspects of his care at St Jude's. He could be awkward and demanding at times but despite this, with a small number of exceptions, nearly all of the staff were friendly and courteous to him at all times. It was
occasionally a bit noisy, with banging doors, etc. The management and nursing staff were very helpful, although there were occasional difficulties of communication due to staff not being native English speakers.
21 January 2025
Staff very caring, Mum feels lonely though. Given it's £8,000 per month before discount, I wonder how much staff get paid. We often get bills for shower gel and shampoo and think a, is it being used? b, why not just include it in the costs.
