I had been in hospital a little under 19 months (the NHS is in shambles), social services couldn't find any suitable properties for my needs as I'm fully dependent on those around me. They told me the day before my discharge, I would be coming to a old people's care home.. I was dreading it, and
being 44 yrs old on top of what we saw in the news about care homes around covid times!
I came here on the 24th December, and have to say the staff welcomed me and and helped me settle in. Being physically impaired and cognitively intact, I see how they interact with the elderly dementia residents, with dignity and respect.. everyone has their own personalized space which is very calming, I didn't think I would settle in as I have! Not sure how long I will be here, but I know I'm in great hands... The staff are happy, also have to say the manager is AMAZING! didn't realize she was the manager the first day she helped me with personal care! Any concerns, she is on top of it!

My husband has been a resident at Mornington Hall now for 10 months. He continues to get very good care. The staff are always very welcoming, caring and treat him with respect and dignity. I recently had an issue that needed attention. I spoke to a member of office staff about my concern and
immediately addressed my problems and implemented my request to my husband care plans. It's so comforting to know that your concerns are listened to and acted upon. Thank you Mornington Hall for caring for my husband.

This care home has gone above all expectations for care and staff activities. My husband can be very difficult at times but they have had the patience of a saint to deal with him. Christmas has been exceptional and they took care of family as well as the patients. I couldn't wish for a better
place of care for him. Thank you so much

Nice environment. Staff very helpful and friendly. Room is ok. Like to see Joe in the TV room rather than lying in his bed.
He seems to be settling in ok.

As a family we are very happy with the care from Mornington. Dad is always kept clean and tidy. The staff are very kind and have additionally been a comfort to us. The manager has always answered any questions we have and put us in contact with the relevant professionals. I feel Dad is in the right
place for him at this time. I feel he is safe and in the past 6 weeks have been no issues.

At all times the staff have been friendly and helpful. My husband was well cared for and all the family are happy with the care. The room and building is always clean and tidy.

Always a pleasure to visit my friend in Mornington Hall and today we had the pleasure of music being played and songs sung in the main lounge - very cheerful and upbeat without being overwhelming. Thank you for all the care and for our visits.

My mum has been at Mornington Hall Care Home for seven weeks, during Mum's stay everyone has been very friendly and taken excellent care of my mum, meeting all her individual needs withthe greatest respect and dignity, also listening to Mum's wishes, and encouraging Mum to join in with activities.

I can't speak highly enough of this care home. My Grand Uncle has been her for some time now and the experience has been nothing short of wonderful. The staff are incredibly kind, attentive and professional, always going above and beyond to make sure residents are comfortable and well cared for.The
environment is clean, welcoming and peaceful, most importantly, my Grand Uncle has expressed to me how happy and content he feels living here. He gives the whole family peace of mind knowing he is in such good hands. Highly recommend.

I was visiting my mum and having a cup of tea in the main lounge - the nurse on duty was playing music and singing - encouraging the residents to join in - calling their names and it created a lovely inclusive atmosphere. It wasn't too loud/raucous/was just very nice and happy.

Thank you so much for caring for my aunt with such dignity and grace. We appreciate all the care she received nursing, personal, medical and activity programs. Good communication with family from the staff.
