Mornington Hall Care Home provide residential, nursing, dementia and respite care for up to 120 adults over the age of 65.

The home offers a home-from-home environment, with a team of care professionals dedicated to making each resident feel comfortable and safe. The team strive to maintain residents' independence as much as possible and help them to make the most of each day, making sure they have choice over their care and how they want to live.

The team work in collaboration with health professionals and the community to deliver care that meets each resident's unique needs and reflects their preferred lifestyle.

Inside the home, you'll find rooms that are well presented and homely, each offering ensuite facilities. There is also a spacious dining area and cosy living areas for residents to relax and enjoy some down time, as well as a cinema room.

My mum has been at Mornington Hall Care Home for seven weeks, during Mum's stay everyone has been very friendly and taken excellent care of my mum, meeting all her individual needs withthe greatest respect and dignity, also listening to Mum's wishes, and encouraging Mum to join in with activities.

I can't speak highly enough of this care home. My Grand Uncle has been her for some time now and the experience has been nothing short of wonderful. The staff are incredibly kind, attentive and professional, always going above and beyond to make sure residents are comfortable and well cared for.The
environment is clean, welcoming and peaceful, most importantly, my Grand Uncle has expressed to me how happy and content he feels living here. He gives the whole family peace of mind knowing he is in such good hands. Highly recommend.

I was visiting my mum and having a cup of tea in the main lounge - the nurse on duty was playing music and singing - encouraging the residents to join in - calling their names and it created a lovely inclusive atmosphere. It wasn't too loud/raucous/was just very nice and happy.

The care home is spacious and well laid out. The staff accepted that the resident was very unhappy about being in the care home and resentful about that. They did not treat her worse because she was so unhappy. They were flexible in responding to her wishes to have escorted trips outside. One aspect
that was not satisfactory was that the food was not suitable. It was tailored to the extent that it was vegetarian, but it was too bland for her. The resident difficult to tailor adequately.

Mornington Hall is very clean and well run. The staff are kind and helpful to the residents and visitors. Our friend has placed here after hospitalisation. She always wanted to go back to her own home, and has now been returned to her home on a trial run. The staff chatted with her, She could not have
conversations with the other residents many of whom lived in fantasy worlds. She was a football fan and the home did not have subscription channels. The staff enabled her friends and take her to the local pub. Medication was always given on time cannot comment on value for money, as I do not know the cost.

Lovely care home, staff are wonderful, caring & attentive. My father enjoyed staying here and most importantly it felt like home to him. There is no place like home. The facilities are good, the place clean and excellent activities and wonderful happy staff. Thoroughly recommend this care home.

My mammy was loved and cared for by all the staff at Cornwell House. They had lots of activities and fun games and outings. All the staff were very good at their jobs and cared for everyone. Communication was excellent and always informed. Her passing was dignified and respectful.
