Mornington Hall Care Home

My mother is very happy with the care she is receiving here and the staff are brilliant.

Mornington Hall is very clean and well run. The staff are kind and helpful to the residents and visitors. Our friend has placed here after hospitalisation. She always wanted to go back to her own home, and has now been returned to her home on a trial run. The staff chatted with her, She could not have conversations with the other residents many of whom lived in fantasy worlds. She was a football fan and the home did not have subscription channels. The staff enabled her friends and take her to the local pub. Medication was always given on time cannot comment on value for money, as I do not know the cost.

The care home is spacious and well laid out. The staff accepted that the resident was very unhappy about being in the care home and resentful about that. They did not treat her worse because she was so unhappy. They were flexible in responding to her wishes to have escorted trips outside. One aspect that was not satisfactory was that the food was not suitable. It was tailored to the extent that it was vegetarian, but it was too bland for her. The resident difficult to tailor adequately.

I very please with the staffs you have in the home and specialy with the nurses who are very careful. and one member of staff in particular which is very kind with all of us.

Greeted in a friendly manner by nurse in charge. Lovely room. Offered tea. Overall a good experience.

Staff very helpful and considerate. The home is very clean and well maintained. The food is good and plentiful and rooms spacious and well equipped. The home is secure and well equipped with grab rails in corridors and shower/ toilet areas. The home has pleasant and accessible gardens and has parking for visitors.

Overall good care home. Fantastic range of activities. Staff are kind and considerate providing great care.

My mother was looked after very well. The staff always appeared to be very fond of them. She always got involved in all the activities and I was always assured she was well taken care of.

My mammy was loved and cared for by all the staff at Cornwell House. They had lots of activities and fun games and outings. All the staff were very good at their jobs and cared for everyone. Communication was excellent and always informed. Her passing was dignified and respectful.

Lovely care home, staff are wonderful, caring & attentive. My father enjoyed staying here and most importantly it felt like home to him. There is no place like home. The facilities are good, the place clean and excellent activities and wonderful happy staff. Thoroughly recommend this care home.

the place is very transparent and friendly. The staff are very professional and the care and support provided by the staff is excellent. The room is clean, my mom is treated with respect and dignity and she feels at peace here and she has improved after coming here. The food and facilities are excellent. The services are value for money. I want my mum to spend her finals days at Mornington care Home.

I wish to say a big thank you to all the staff and nurses who looked very well after our mum while she was in your home with you all. You make her comfortable. We are grateful to the nurses who were there and the senior carer both were there at her last moment. They comforted us and making my mum comfortable. A big thanks to all.

The staff is ready always to help when needed. Also the activities is phenomenal. I'm happy that my brother is herein such a lovely place.

I have been impressed of the care and treatment of my mother. The staff are friendly and approachable. They care genuinely about the residents. I have deep respect for them and have no complaints. Very happy that my mother is being cared here.

I feel my sister is in a safe place which is very pleasant to visit. The room is clean and bright as is the outside space.

Excellent experience overall. Staff are very kind, patient and caring. They deal with my grandma's special needs very well. They make great efforts to adopt a sense of community and do a lot to include the residents family and friends.
