The manager is trying very hard to implement change. There is a bit of work to be done around staff communication with colleagues. Overall I am quite satisfied with the care and support my Dad is getting.

All the staff were very friendly and exhibited care for the residents. They greeted us even when not from the same house as my Aunt. My Aunt seemed happy and chatted well. We were pleased with how she had improved.

Our relative is not able to mobilise and spends her time in bed. The staff are attentive and patient despite service user at times being difficult. She has settled in well and seems content. we are always made to feel welcome on visits and given an update on our relative. We are happy that she is being well looked after.

The access to the building is excellent and I really love the way a woman came and in a polite way, she asked me if I'm looking for someone and yes I was here to see a friend of mine. The manager is a very kind woman, respectful and polite to everyone. While waiting in the reception to see my friend, I saw how lovely she was treating the colleagues, in a respectful way and how she would listen to each one. Really appreciate the manager and the management. Good job.

Staff responsible for maintaining the care of the residents do a really good job. They are caring and treat the residents with dignity and kindness, under difficult circumstances. Management have responded well to issues brought to their attention and as far as I can see there have been solutions to issues raised.

I attended an open day as I have previously done so once before. It was an enjoyable day, lots of fun and laughter, a good singer. Staff involved in dancing and encouraging residents to dance. An enjoyable day.

This is my first visit so I don't know too much about the centre. However, the summer fete was really impressive with great participation from residents and staff. Great job!

I have attended the home twice before where I can see its a caring home and the residents seem settled. Today I attended the open day where I can see a lot of work has been done and the staff have looked after everyone, residents and non-residents.

I am happy with the care home overall but concerned about staff shortages in Haywood House. Today is 7th July and we are at a fete at home. A lot of care and attention went into making this day special for residents, family and friends.

I visited a neighbour today it was a very happy visit everybody was in a jovial mood and in a good place. Plenty of singing and laughing. I hear that singing happens on a regular basis, coming together as a big family unit. I went home feeling happy as day's like this are so important. Keep up the good work.

Our Mum was admitted to Mornington Hall in January 2018. We had a few problems with my mum settling but staff and management were very supportive and worked with s to settle my mum. We are very happy with Haywood House and would not hesitate to recommend to others.
