Mornington Hall Care Home provide residential, nursing, dementia and respite care for up to 120 adults over the age of 65.

The home offers a home-from-home environment, with a team of care professionals dedicated to making each resident feel comfortable and safe. The team strive to maintain residents' independence as much as possible and help them to make the most of each day, making sure they have choice over their care and how they want to live.

The team work in collaboration with health professionals and the community to deliver care that meets each resident's unique needs and reflects their preferred lifestyle.

Inside the home, you'll find rooms that are well presented and homely, each offering ensuite facilities. There is also a spacious dining area and cosy living areas for residents to relax and enjoy some down time, as well as a cinema room.

The home is conveniently located with good access to public transport links, making it easy for loved ones to visit and for residents who are able to get out and about to enjoy the local area.

The access to the building is excellent and I really love the way a woman came and in a polite way, she asked me if I'm looking for someone and yes I was here to see a friend of mine. The manager is a very kind woman, respectful and polite to everyone. While waiting in the reception to see my friend,
I saw how lovely she was treating the colleagues, in a respectful way and how she would listen to each one. Really appreciate the manager and the management. Good job.

Staff responsible for maintaining the care of the residents do a really good job. They are caring and treat the residents with dignity and kindness, under difficult circumstances. Management have responded well to issues brought to their attention and as far as I can see there have been solutions to
issues raised.

I attended an open day as I have previously done so once before. It was an enjoyable day, lots of fun and laughter, a good singer. Staff involved in dancing and encouraging residents to dance. An enjoyable day.

I have attended the home twice before where I can see its a caring home and the residents seem settled. Today I attended the open day where I can see a lot of work has been done and the staff have looked after everyone, residents and non-residents.

I am happy with the care home overall but concerned about staff shortages in Haywood House. Today is 7th July and we are at a fete at home. A lot of care and attention went into making this day special for residents, family and friends.

I visited a neighbour today it was a very happy visit everybody was in a jovial mood and in a good place. Plenty of singing and laughing. I hear that singing happens on a regular basis, coming together as a big family unit. I went home feeling happy as day's like this are so important. Keep up the good

Our Mum was admitted to Mornington Hall in January 2018. We had a few problems with my mum settling but staff and management were very supportive and worked with s to settle my mum. We are very happy with Haywood House and would not hesitate to recommend to others.

I can't fault my mother' care. The one complaint I have is that since new people have taken over we have to wait for the door to be opened, with the other staff we were able to use the door code. I find we wait for a long time to be let in. This is very hard for my brother who is deaf because he doesn't
hear the staff answer his ring.

We are currently experiencing problems with the intercom system and our property services are looking into this and believe that this will be resolved soon. 1 - Food is not flavoursome and contrary to initial assurance, does not take into account individual preferences.
2 - Lack of sufficient activities, especially verbally stimulating.
3 - Occasionally bad odour.
4 - Difficulty in opening entrance door, even after it has been remotely unlocked from
office.
5 - Care staff diligent, caring and compassionate.

My father moved to the home is September 2017. All the staff I have met have been lovely to him (and me) and I think he is well taken care of. Nothing is perfect but the staff seem to do their very best and my family are very grateful.
