View Full Details of Barchester Park View Care HomeAfter looking at many care homes for my mother, the first impression I had was 'Wow'. We were given a warm welcome by the staff and it continued for the whole of the visit. The process of admitting my mother was seamless. They made everything so easy for us in what was a very emotional time. Mum's room was cosy and homely, as is every area from dining room to lounge, to visitors lounge. We cannot fault the care our mum had. We were completely at ease in the knowledge she was happy, safe and loved.
Excelent care. Staff is super.
My dad has been at park view for a few years now and he is very well cared for. The staff are friendly and welcoming. It is evident that the staff are very caring and attentive to the residents. Communication from the care home is very good and they keep me updated with my dads health. Overall I am very happy with my dads care.
My brother has been at the Barchester Home in Dagenham for the last two years. During that time he has been visited by many of our family and friends, and we all agree that the attention that he receives is excellent. The staff members are attentive and understand the help that he requires. The Manager and Senior Members of staff are very approachable, and they will always agree to a meeting whenever required, The facilities are really good, with easy access to a Family Room and a garden area. Parking within the grounds has not been a problem to date, and it's great to be able to visit without giving notice, They provide various events both inside and outside the Home This includes visits by musicians, Bingo and visits to places in the local area, I would highly recommend this Care Home.
Thank you so much for the great care my brother had for many year at your great home.
Our family went to home to celebrate our friends birthday with her. We found everything was good and having a special room set aside for our party was a nice touch. The room was large enough for our party requirement and it also had an outside garden area linked to it. Food tea coffee and soft drinks were laid on but we brought in some wine so we all had a little drink. The staff are very caring and really understanding to the residents and families needs .

My dad lived here for almost 5 years and I can not praise enough this care home. Dedicated staff, cleanliness, commication and care given to my dad over those years was always exceptional. The manager was always professional, available and easy to talk to. Unfortunately, my dad passed away last month and the support we got over last few weeks of his life was incredible. I would like to say a BIG THANK you to All Team at Park View for being caring, loving and supportive- You are amazing People. THANK YOU!!!
My Mother and Father, both at varying degrees of Alzheimers/Dementia were placed in this amazing care home for respite for 1 month. When social services tried to force us to move them to a cheaper home for permanent residency I fought them all the way. My daughter and I and their previous full time Carer visited a lot of care homes in the area and found them wholly unsuitable. This is without a doubt the best place for them to be. I never want them to be moved from here.
We are very happy with my aunt's care, staff are very lovely. We are always kept up to date with my aunt and they are always there if we need to talk. We cannot thank you all enough for the care that you all give my aunt.
An excellent care home and is highly recommended which provides a good standard of care to all its residents. The staff are polite and professional, always take on board any concerns you may have and do their best to resolve it. There are a range of activities which they actively encourage the residents to participate in. Yes, we are pleased with the care given to our relative. I also admire the variety of plants and flowers at the front and back of the building, it's absolutely beautiful.
In the two years that my aunt has been in here we have had no problems. We are always kept up to date with any treatment or procedures. The staff are all very pleasant and welcoming. On the occasion of her 100th birthday the home put on a wonderful time for her. There are lots of activities and outings arranged. There is always a nice family atmosphere.
It is never easy taking the decision to place a relative in a care home but my father is well looked after and cared for. I especially appreciate how so many of the carers know so much about my dad and go out of their way to pay attention to the little things that help my dad who has late-stage dementia. There are some very special carers and staff at Barchester Park View Care Home! Thank you.
My son has been at Barchester for 3 years. He has an incurable disease and over his time at the home, his condition has gradually deteriorated as we knew it would. We can't thank the staff and management enough for all they do for my son. Not only my son but myself as well as they like to include the relatives in the activities that they do. We have been on some lovely day trips like the canal boat trip. We have also been on holidays to a holiday resort with the home. I go to the home every week and there is always something going on for the residents. Once again many thanks to all the staff for all they do to help my son.
