What a great afternoon tea party the carehome laid on for my mums 90th Birthday. There was a great amount of care given to make sure mum was ready and the room and set up were perfect. Winnie had all her family with her and we all enjoyed he great food that was served for us. Thanks to all the carehome staff for putting on such a great spread.

We had a fantastic afternoon tea at Park View to celebrate our mum Win's 90th birthday. Everything was perfect! The food was absolutely delicious, with a wonderful selection of fresh sandwiches, cakes, and treats. A special mention to the chef and the whole team, who did an excellent job - everything was beautifully presented and tasted amazing. Thank you to Jenny & her team for getting Win ready. The staff were so friendly, attentive, and made the celebration feel really special. We all had a wonderful time and couldn't have asked for a better venue to mark such a special occasion. Highly recommended!

Our mum had a lovely birthday, and two days later a family tea 90 birthday.
I would like to thank the staff on both days for giving our mum a lovely two days. They are so kind compassionate and empathetic.
They help our mum Winifred see her 4 generations of her and our late Dads family.
Our mum been on Oak 3 for about 3 years on oak 3 staff treat her and us like family. And also the other staff also the same. Everyone whatever there job seems to be a family that work together.

Your help is always appreciated.

Our Dad who had been unwell went into the care home in November 2025 for respite. He really enjoyed his time there over Christmas and he decided to stay. He was treated with respect and kindness. The family was very happy with the care that he got and we felt that he was safe there. The staff were very professional and friendly and nothing was too much trouble. He had his 90th birthday there and the home made it a special occasion with a room dedicated to the family and friends. He really enjoyed the day very much. Sadly Dad passed away but the time he had there the family are very grateful for and we thank all the staff for their dedication and thoughtful care. Thank you from the Family

With great sadness we realised that dad needed care that mum and we as a family were unable to provide. From dad's first day to his last, he was treated with great care and dignity. His needs were never questioned. We were informed of everything that was happening with dad's health. He was encouraged to join in with all activities some he never mentioned himself. We are truly grateful for the love and care he was given by all members of staff. Thank you.

We visited many care homes on behalf of our Mum. We were lucky enough to secure a place at Park View.

After her transfer from hospital Mum settled well. The staff throughout the home gave us the confidence Mum would be well cared for. The team on Oaks 3 were kind and caring and Mum enjoyed the company of the residents on the unit. The excellent entertainment team and volunteers supported Mum in many activities including a trip to London to see the Christmas lights which she thoroughly enjoyed. We enjoyed the use of the coffee lounge and garden every week and appreciated the choice of spaces to take Mum. Everyone at the care home addressed Mum by her name and always found time to have a chat. Thank you for looking after our Mum.

After looking at many care homes for my mother, the first impression I had was 'Wow'. We were given a warm welcome by the staff and it continued for the whole of the visit. The process of admitting my mother was seamless. They made everything so easy for us in what was a very emotional time. Mum's room was cosy and homely, as is every area from dining room to lounge, to visitors lounge. We cannot fault the care our mum had. We were completely at ease in the knowledge she was happy, safe and loved.

My brother has been at the Barchester Home in Dagenham for the last two years. During that time he has been visited by many of our family and friends, and we all agree that the attention that he receives is excellent. The staff members are attentive and understand the help that he requires. The Manager and Senior Members of staff are very approachable, and they will always agree to a meeting whenever required, The facilities are really good, with easy access to a Family Room and a garden area. Parking within the grounds has not been a problem to date, and it's great to be able to visit without giving notice, They provide various events both inside and outside the Home This includes visits by musicians, Bingo and visits to places in the local area, I would highly recommend this Care Home.

Our family went to home to celebrate our friends birthday with her. We found everything was good and having a special room set aside for our party was a nice touch. The room was large enough for our party requirement and it also had an outside garden area linked to it. Food tea coffee and soft drinks were laid on but we brought in some wine so we all had a little drink. The staff are very caring and really understanding to the residents and families needs .
