All staff, kitchen, carers and reception always say hello to me. Carers are attentive to residents and treat them with understanding, patience and care. I like that residents are free to wander around the reception area so that they are stimulated by visitors. Residents are clean and the home never smells. The menu is on display and seems varied and appropriate to the age group but I can't comment on the quality as I have not experienced this. The activities are varied and displayed.

Mum has been at Park View for 4 months, she previously lived alone but due to Alzheimer's needed more care than family and community care could provide. Since moving here she has thrived, the whole team is fantastic and the care she receives is first-class. I cannot think of any negatives or improvements required. The staff are so professional and meet all Mum's needs in care, safety, welfare and wellbeing. It's a happy place and a lovely environment.

I wasn't able to view the care home prior to my father taking residence due to Covid but from the time he entered to the time he passed away Park View was absolutely excellent in all aspects of his stay. I cannot praise everybody at the home enough. You are all angels and I thank you.

Best nursing home, the staff are amazing and very supportive. I was happy to see my friend always comfortable and well taken care of. The home is well organised, very clean, the food is well prepared and a lot of activities to boost self-esteem. Visiting was flexible and always got first-hand information from management. Thank you to the staff for taking good care of my friend. Amazing care home. 5-stars.

I have lived at Park View Care Home for nearly 5 year now, it the best 5 years of my life. Staff support me to take me to family events. All the staff support me with everything I do they take us on day trips. They have made the last 5 years a dream for me and I can't thank all the staff at Park View Care Home for everything they have done for me and my family.

My dad has been in Barchester Park View Care Home for almost two years. We are so grateful to the staff on Memory Lane. They are genuinely caring and responsive to my dad's needs, his emotional needs as well as physical, medical etc. The staff treat residents with respect and dignity and understands their specific preferences. This is the third home my dad has been in, even though his behaviour, due to his dementia, can be challenging, staff take positive steps to support him when he is feeling unsettled or frustrated. I am very grateful to have my dad at Park View and would highly recommend to anyone considering a care home for their loved one.

Staff should be quicker in dealing with the residents when they have an accident in toiletry. They don't seem to have the time to do all of the jobs, ie they don't clean up properly. The rooms should be dusted more often. My mum's bed is not always made. I do like the staff; they do their best. I don't think they have enough staff on Memory Lane.

Both my mum and dad spent what eventually to proved to be their final months at Park View. From our first contact the front office was - and continued to be - delightful and helpful. The care staff under the manager are wonderful. With Covid restrictions, part of the time made it very stressful, but we received great support. The carers were continually kind, patient, committed and considerate, and they constantly monitored Mum and Dad's needs. My sister and I could not have been more satisfied with their care.

I was especially impressed by the vibe in the care home and the attitude and enthusiasm of the staff. The care industry is predominately about the people who work in it. I found the staff I interacted with passionate about their jobs.

Overall care has been very good, consideration and respect shown to mum and the family. It was a big thing to let go of mums care, a stressful and worrying time for us as a family.

After an initial concern and worry for us following a fall in the last few days, mum has settled well into her new environment. The staff are very caring kind and considerate always ensuring mum's happiness. Thank you all.

First of all, I would like to thank all staff at Barchester Park View Care Home for the excellent care that they gave to my Mum.
Living in Australia I needed to find a home for my Mum, that I knew she would be safe and well cared for.
As soon as I walked into this home I knew that I had found it! Everyone who worked there and other residents all looked happy.
Sadly my Mum passed away on the 2nd May, because of Covid I could not get back to the UK.

However, I knew when I went back to Australia in 2019, my Mum would be well looked after.

Sadly the time came whereby I needed to find a nursing home for my mum due to her ongoing long term health condition which had deteriorated. I had visited many care homes trying to find the right place for my mum.
As soon as I walked into Parkview it just felt right !!

Beautifully clean, very well presented, very helpful and accommodating staff who were also well presented in their smart clean uniforms, and above all, no unpleasant smell anywhere in the home. I was warmly greeted by the manager who was so very understanding, reassured me totally that this was the place for my mum where she would be in safe and caring hands with her staff. Although the time my mum spent there was very short only a couple of weeks before she passed away, the care, empathy and compassion were clear to see and I am very grateful to the manager and her staff for the care my beautiful mum was given whilst in their hands. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

My brother was becoming much better in his abilities. This year has put him back a little due to covid. However, myself and the family feel that the staff in all departments could not be any more helpful in trying to help my brother in every way possible. We are very grateful for all they do all of the time.
