Very happy, and well look after my mum. Keeping place nice and clean. Staff in nursing home very friendly. Food is lovely giving different food every day. Hope they keep it up as stander. Wish woodland nursing home all best and good luck.

Excellent all round except, lounge is cold starke like a hospital waiting room, therefore do not like to ever use. Food is always spicey/curry/asian flavoured even when its not suppossed to be. I can not eat it. Alternative is not offered. My partner keeps me in constant supply of rice pudding pots
1 or 2 everyday along with other food. If it wasn't for this I would be left to go hungery most days.

Fantastic care from very professional and friendly staff. My husbands needs are always met and nothing is too much trouble. Can leave the home with complete peace of mind that my husband is being taken care of the way he would want.

My mother has been in Woodlands Nursing Home since June 2025 and has been looked after to a very high standard. Room is nice and large, with a comfortable bed and a large and state of the art TV.
Staff are very friendly, professional and empathetic. Care facilities are excellent and are happy to
assist any way possible. Food is good. Entertainment on a daily basis and for festivities is enjoyable.

My mother in law was in Woodlands for 18 months until she passed away. My husband and myself could not have wished for better care and kindness to her all the time she was there. The carers were so patient with her, kept her spotlessly clean did drawing with her even one day painted her nails for
her what she was thrilled with, kept us up to date with all her medication and change of treatment. I will never be able to thank them enough, also made it so much easier for us knowing she was well looked after and happy. Thank you.

My friend has been in the nursing home since 2022. We were visiting her often. The nursing home is providing excellent care to my friend. And they welcome us with great respect and all the staff and management do a wonderful job. They look after my friend as a member of their family. The home is
very clean and no smell anywhere. The nursing home is like our own house. Thank you Woodlands.

The staff were extremely kind and caring for my mum at the end of her life. They were always kind and courteous whenever I visited and always welcomed me with a smile. I could not have hoped for a better place for my mum to end her life.

Absolutely friendly staff They keep me informed about my mum. Management and Nurses are extremely helpful. Mum has no teeth and finds it difficult to eat so they provide puree foods. If she doesn't eat they make sure to give her supplements.

Woodland Care Home sets a benchmark for exceptional care, meeting and exceeding residents' needs. After challenges with three other care homes, my mother has found happiness and comfort here. The staff are incredibly polite, compassionate, and treat residents like family. Led by the outstanding
manager, the management team is second to none, elevating Woodland above others in East London. The warm, welcoming environment brings joy to residents and visitors alike. Fresh, nutritious meals are provided, and personal hygiene is meticulously maintained. Regular events keep residents engaged, and multicultural celebrations like Holi, Diwali, Eid, and Christmas foster inclusivity and vibrancy. Based on my experience, I see no room for improvement. I wholeheartedly recommend Woodland Care Home to anyone seeking exemplary care for their loved ones. Kudos to the Woodland team, and special thanks to the manager for maintaining such high standards. Keep up the fantastic work!

My brother has been resident since 2015. I've always known him to be looked after with great care. He does not communicate very well but he seems to get on well with the carers. He went in the care home with a lot of health issues but so far he has been geting great care.

The team at Woodlands are brilliant, nothing is too much trouble and they are all friendly and kind. They have looked after Mum with such care and attention and keep me informed of anything that is needed or requested such as flu jobs etc. I couldn't wish for a better home for Mum.

Amazing services and the staff look after the residents as if their own.
My father is loved and taken care of.
They go out of their way to assist families and the food is of a good standard.

My mother spent about 10 months at the home. After an initial bedding-in period, the carers provided excellent care and looked after Mum's needs. Our reasonable requests were met, e.g. diet. Particular thanks to three staff members in particular who were exceptionally caring.

My mother has been a resident at Woodlands Care Home for two years and has found the care and support admirable. The staff are excellent, kind and caring at all times and always mindful of her dignity. She has a warm, bright room with a comfortable bed and a supportive chair. She enjoys the food and
the social activities.

This is some feedback for the manager at the Woodlands Nursing Home.
My mother spent her last few months in this nursing home (from January to April) after which point she sadly passed away. The manager was very good with my mother's admission and was very understanding of her palliative care.
We
all felt very welcomed and understood by her. The staff cared very well for my mother; all the family were very happy with her service as well as all the staff members.
If we ever would need any further care with any family or friends, we would not express any hesitation in using these care services again.

Woodland provided exceptional care for my dad during his time there at 95 years old. The love and support he received greatly contributed to his comfort, and I could visibly see the positive impact it had on him. Initially, it was difficult for me to be apart from him at home, but witnessing the
quality of care he received reassured me that he was in the right and safe place. Through my daily visits, I witnessed firsthand the dedicated and compassionate care provided by the amazing team at Woodland. I am deeply grateful for everything they did for my dad.

Great staff, very helpful and very friendly. Communication was excellent, food and surroundings very nice. We couldn't have wished for better support from everyone involved. Nice room and easy access parking facilities.

Well looked after. Always clean, staff were wonderful and attentive.

Home is always decorated for occasions.

My mother was in Woodlands until the day she died. The staff there were excellent and can't thank them all enough, the care she received was well done and the staff took their time with my mother, my mother was well-liked.

All the management and staff we have met have been so lovely and caring. We feel blessed that Mum was able to get a room at Woodlands.
The information and reporting gathered in Mum's ring binder are so thorough and impressive; it reassures us that she is getting the best care we could hope for.
