View Full Details of Capwell Grange Care HomeMy mother has been here in the care home for about 18 months now. I fly over from Belfast regularly to spend precious time with her. Every time I visit my mother is very happy and content, which means so much to me as her son. She has settled in very, very well, and for that I am very grateful. The staff and management are exceptional and always greet with warmth. I can't fault this care home, and thanks to all the staff and management who look after my mum so well.
My mother hs been here for more than a year and I have to say that she has come to an excellent place. The staff here are so caring and try to do all their best for everyone here. You never see them without a smile while they are with the residents. The decorations put up in the common room are amazing, always with the idea of cheering the residents up.
Clean, welcoming facilities for patients.
My experience at Capwell Grange was a good one. I was there nearly 4 weeks and the staff became a family to me although my own family are amazing. The physios and staff got me back on my feet and my confidence returned. As I have had MS for many years was not an easy achievement. I have now returned home with carers attending.
My mum stayed here after she left hospital. The home is very lovely and the staff are very nice. They have looked after mum really well. I was dubious as it's the first time she has been in a home but I needed not have worried.
My experience here was nothing by pleasant and peaceful. Everybody here made me feel safe and helped me with my recovery. All the staff are amazing, always smiling and helpful. I couldn't have asked for more. Thank you.
Every member of staff I met were really friendly and very professional. The rooms are well equipped and clean. My friend says the food is good, so everything is good to help the patients feel comfortable and aid in their recovery.
I am pleased to say that my experience at Capwell Grange Care Home was very satisfactory. All staff were polite & helpful and made you feel at home.
Mum was discharged from hospital to Capwell Grange. This was the best failed discharge ever. Mum was treated with dignity and respect right from the word go. The team treated her with such care and attention, and they kept me informed all the time. Even though Mum's time at Capwell Grange was short we were so pleased her final days were peaceful, calm and very well looked after. We cannot thank you enough.
My husband was brought into Capwell Grange, Milliner House, just before Christmas. Our family actually wanted him to be here because of its lovely setting, and good reputation. The management and carers have been excellent/amazing. The love and care they show for each person, (even through very difficult times) has been outstanding. I visit my husband daily for between 2-4 hours, depending on his needs, so I have a good idea what happens there. I have spoken to other relatives visiting and they have all spoken highly of the place and staff. The food is lovely, with large portions as well.
My mother was placed in Miliner house for assessment in November 2024. She was cared for wonderfully by the staff and management. They went beyond expectations to look after her during her stay, engaging her in the Christmas activities and constantly checking on her. As her health deteriorated, the staff provided fantastic care, she was changed and washed daily kept extremely comfortable had a constant flow of tea until her sad demise on 24th January 2025. I would personally like to thank the hard working staff. The care managers for making her final journey as comfortable as it possibly could have been.
Mum is always happy and well cared for. Staff are friendly and genuinely care for the residents. There is always a great vibe in the lounge area and everyone is welcome.
Overall I'm pleased that I chose Capwell Grange. The staff are professional but also friendly and caring. The rooms are basic and functional rather than luxurious but perfectly acceptable considering my wife's condition. Similarly the food is quite repetitive but this is understandable because she is on a pureed vegetarian diet. She is unable to join in any activities but the staff make sure she has access to music which is her only remaining pleasure. The most important thing is that I can leave my wife and be confident that she will be safe and looked after.
Care staff very good. Food excellent. Physio staff very helpful. My sisters recovery was good.
Since my aunt was admitted to Capwell Grange Care Home from the hospital for assessment, she has received excellent care and treatment from every member of staff in the Milliner wing. It is clearly evident that the carers and nursing staff are extremely attentive and considerate to all her needs. There is a relaxed atmosphere where visitors are made to feel extremely welcome and are encouraged to inform the staff if they have any concerns or require anything. In what can sometimes be a very challenging and testing environment, I have found the staff to always be professional and reassuring.
I was treated with the upmost care. The staff were very caring and patient with me, encouraging me every day to do the best I could and I am now going home confident that I shall be able to look after myself with the minimum of help. Thanks to all of the wonderful staff, they really are dedicated and caring. Thanks a million for all you have done.
Capwell Grange is a wonderful care home. Very well run. The carers are so kind, caring and loving. Nothing is too much trouble. There is always someone there to put my mind at rest if I feel troubled for any reason. I am so grateful for everything. I recommend it wholeheartedly. I cannot praise it enough.
