View Full Details of Mandeville Grange Nursing HomeMum was a resident with Mandeville Grange Nursing Home for a few days short of four years. The care she received was excellent - the kindness and genuine fondness shown toward her of great comfort. There was always someone available to answer any questions and were always made very welcome when visiting. Thank you all.
The end-of-life care given was excellent. The place has a homely feel. It was always spotlessly clean and excellently maintained. I could not have wished for more kindness and consideration from all the staff both towards my brother and all the family. I have freely shared this view with anyone who asked where he was. Thank you.
My husband was very ill when he arrived from the hospital. He was well looked after and the staff, all of them, warm and friendly. All in all a nice comfortable home. Thank you.
My mother-in-law went here for care for dementia and was treated exceptionally well. All staff were extremely friendly and helpful, nothing was ever too much bother. My mother-in-law settled in very quickly which was a huge relief for us all. A special thank you to two members of staff in particular for all their support.
All the staff in their individual ways show compassion, kindness and friendliness. During the 5 months Mum was in the care home her health improved, she was happier and enjoyed her time there. I would have no hesitation in recommending Mandeville Grange Nursing Home as a nursing home, it is a hidden gem in the area.
From the moment I walked through the doors I was struck by the warm welcome and the friendly smiles of the staff. I found the care staff exceptional at Mandeville Grange. They not only seemed highly competent and professional but also genuinely compassionate and attentive. I spent a lot of time at my Mothers's side during the terminal stage of her illness and not only did they look after my Mum with utmost gentleness and compassion keeping her clean, including her mouth, fresh and comfortable and I appreciate she was a difficult patient but they cared for me too, making me feel like one of the family.
Mandeville Grange is a lovely and calm nursing home. The staff are very friendly and welcoming, nothing is too much trouble. We were delighted with the care that Mum had during her stay. Even in her final days, she was always kept comfortable and pain-free. The nursing staff always kept us informed on a daily basis. We would have no hesitation in recommending Mandeville Grange in the future.
My husband stayed at Mandeville Grange for one week of respite in August 2024. He was treated with care and dignity by all staff, everyone introducing themselves. The manager and her team are lovely people. I would not hesitate for him to return in the future if need be, I knew he was in good hands.
Mum was only a resident for a couple of months before her passing, but they were very happy. The friendly and caring staff made her feel very at home and she settled in within a couple of days. I must say that I felt extremely comfortable that Mum was receiving the best care she could.
We are very fortunate to find such great care and facilities for my very ill elderly husband with Mandeville Grange. We are made very welcome and supported at all times. We also have the added advantage of close proximity being able to visit daily.
My brother moved into Mandeville Grange just before his 65th birthday in 2022 and sadly passed away in April 2024. We were so very lucky that Mandeville Grange were able to take my brother when it became clear he could not live at home and they were absolutely brilliant with both him and us as a family from the very first time we met them. The manager was fully supportive in getting my brother a place there helping his wife and my sister secure the placement. Both the manager and all the staff cared for my brother from day one on an individual basis, treating him as one of their family which meant we also became family. My brother was loved, respected and very well cared for according to his individual needs which meant so much to us. He passed away peacefully with us by his side and the whole team were very caring and patient. We will be forever grateful to Mandeville Grange for making his last couple of years happy, secure and meaningful. It is a truly wonderful home. Thank you.
My mother only spent five weeks in Mandeville Grange before she died, but I can't think of a better place for her to spend her final day. The staff are extremely patient, kind, and caring. They are motivated and knowledgeable as well as friendly to residents and families. They took great care of my Dad, with personal care, keeping his mind stimulated and catering to him. Lovely people who delivered a professional and caring service,
My father recently passed away peacefully in Mandeville Grange after being a resident there for almost 3 years. The staff were always very caring, friendly and helpful and during his last few days of life, they were especially lovely to him and to us his family.
Upon my initial visit to Mandeville Grange, I was totally impressed. Greeted at the front door with a big smile from one of the carers, I was shown to my husband's prospective room. Clean and tidy with wardrobes and television. Lovely smell of homecooked fish and chips coming from the kitchen. Nice sized lounge and dining room. All the staff were welcoming and helpful, with a long list of activities available for the residents. My husband moved in early 22/11/2023 and was upgraded to a room with a self-contained wet room and toilet a good size and welcoming. Since his arrival, my husband has been involved in all the activities and settled in very quickly. He is exceedingly well looked after. All the staff are attentive and very caring. The home is clean and well-maintained, and from my observation, the residents are very happy and relaxed. The beds are made daily and all clothing changed daily, washed and hung back again in the wardrobes. I highly recommend this home for their caring and attentive staff.
The kindness, care, love and humour shown to Mum was wonderful by all the staff at Mandeville Grange. Knowing she was safe and comfortable gave us great peace of mind. When Mum died, the care, respect and kindness continued and extended to all her family.
