I have been a volunteer at Mandeville Grange for several years. The home is very homely and the staff are kind and compassionate and they all work together well as a team. The food is very good and they cater for all needs. The residents can get involved in activities during the day and they also have
themed days. The home has a lovely garden and courtyard with many plants and flowers to admire. The home is managed well and the residents' needs are a priority.

I arrived at Mandeville Grange for a period of respite. All the staff came to welcome me, including the management team. During my stay, I always felt at home as all the staff differed in support and care. My allocated room and surroundings are very clean.The food was brilliant and the chef came to
meet me on the day of arrival. Multiple choices provided. During my stay, I felt safe and in good hands.

I visited Mandeville Grange to see if my partner would be able to stay for a few days while I went on holiday. The manager welcomed me in, gave me a tour of the home and listened carefully while I explained my partner's needs. I felt instantly reassured that this is a loving environment for my partner.
He has Parkinson's and full mental capacity. During his stay, nothing was too much trouble for the staff, he said. They provided a fridge in his room, he was asked what food he liked - they even got him Almond Milk. He was always treated with dignity and respect. The staff are one big caring family - everyone. Huge gratitude from us both.

My Mum has been at Mandeville Grange for 6 months. She is always treated with kindness and respect. The staff are all very attentive and inform me if there are any changes to Mum's condition. Her room and clothes are always spotless. All of the staff greet you with a warm welcome and make you feel

Mum was a resident with Mandeville Grange Nursing Home for a few days short of four years. The care she received was excellent - the kindness and genuine fondness shown toward her of great comfort. My mother-in-law went here for care for dementia and was treated exceptionally well. All staff were extremely friendly and helpful, nothing was ever too much bother. All the staff in their individual ways show compassion, kindness and friendliness. During the 5 months Mum was in the care home her health improved, she was happier and enjoyed her time there. From the moment I walked through the doors I was struck by the warm welcome and the friendly smiles of the staff. I found the care staff exceptional at Mandeville Grange. They not only seemed highly competent and professional but also genuinely compassionate and attentive. I spent a lot of time at my
Mothers's side during the terminal stage of her illness and not only did they look after my Mum with utmost gentleness and compassion keeping her clean, including her mouth, fresh and comfortable and I appreciate she was a difficult patient but they cared for me too, making me feel like one of the family.

Mandeville Grange is a lovely and calm nursing home. The staff are very friendly and welcoming, nothing is too much trouble. We were delighted with the care that Mum had during her stay. Even in her final days, she was always kept comfortable and pain-free. The nursing staff always kept us informed

My husband stayed at Mandeville Grange for one week of respite in August 2024. He was treated with care and dignity by all staff, everyone introducing themselves. Mum was only a resident for a couple of months before her passing, but they were very happy. The friendly and caring staff made her feel very at home and she settled in within a couple of days.
I must say that I felt extremely comfortable that Mum was receiving the best care she could.

My brother moved into Mandeville Grange just before his 65th birthday in 2022 and sadly passed away in April 2024. We were so very lucky that Mandeville Grange were able to take my brother when it became clear he could not live at home and they were absolutely brilliant with both him and us as a family
from the very first time we met them. The manager was fully supportive in getting my brother a place there helping his wife and my sister secure the placement. Both the manager and all the staff cared for my brother from day one on an individual basis, treating him as one of their family which meant we also became family. My brother was loved, respected and very well cared for according to his individual needs which meant so much to us. He passed away peacefully with us by his side and the whole team were very caring and patient. We will be forever grateful to Mandeville Grange for making his last couple of years happy, secure and meaningful. It is a truly wonderful home. Thank you.

My mother only spent five weeks in Mandeville Grange before she died, but I can't think of a better place for her to spend her final day. The love, care and respect she received from all the staff was so comforting to both my sister and myself. It is a loving home and it doesn't have an institutional
feel about it. Mandeville Grange is a home-from-home. Mum received wonderful, individual care from the caring and nursing staff. They saw her needs and acted on them. Thank you, Mandeville Grange, for who you care for my mum.
