From my first visit to view Mandeville Grange, I was completely put at ease regarding my mother being cared for properly and compassionately and was very happy and reassured when she finally moved in. The staff are all very committed and caring and I feel my mother's health and well-being will be the
best it could be and I am certain she will enjoy her life at Mandeville Grange.

When my Dad became elderly and unwell, he was unable to stay at home. I was very fortunate to find Mandeville Grange for him. The manager is very capable and experienced. The staff are extremely patient, kind, and caring. They are motivated and knowledgeable as well as friendly to residents and families.
They took great care of my Dad, with personal care, keeping his mind stimulated and catering to him. Lovely people who delivered a professional and caring service,

My father recently passed away peacefully in Mandeville Grange after being a resident there for almost 3 years. The staff were always very caring, friendly and helpful and during his last few days of life, they were especially lovely to him and to us his family.

Upon my initial visit to Mandeville Grange, I was totally impressed. Greeted at the front door with a big smile from one of the carers, I was shown to my husband's prospective room. Clean and tidy with wardrobes and television. Lovely smell of homecooked fish and chips coming from the kitchen. Nice
sized lounge and dining room. All the staff were welcoming and helpful, with a long list of activities available for the residents.
My husband moved in early 22/11/2023 and was upgraded to a room with a self-contained wet room and toilet a good size and welcoming.
Since his arrival, my husband has been involved in all the activities and settled in very quickly. He is exceedingly well looked after. All the staff are attentive and very caring. The home is clean and well-maintained, and from my observation, the residents are very happy and relaxed. The beds are made daily and all clothing changed daily, washed and hung back again in the wardrobes. I highly recommend this home for their caring and attentive staff.

The kindness, care, love and humour shown to Mum was wonderful by all the staff at Mandeville Grange. Knowing she was safe and comfortable gave us great peace of mind. When Mum died, the care, respect and kindness continued and extended to all her family.

I find the care home is now efficient with pleasant and caring staff. The resident is very happy there and says the staff are very friendly. The resident is looking very well and I do think she has gained a little weight.

When a relative has to go into a care home for any reason, it can be a very stressful time for the resident and their relatives. We (the family) are absolutely amazed at the care and attention given to my sister-in-law. She is so well looked after and cared for. The staff cannot be praised enough for

My aunt has been at Mandeville Grange for 2 years and there has been a big improvement in her physical wellbeing. All staff are caring and friendly and the manager is always on hand to discuss any issues. The rooms are clean and tidy. There are always plenty of activities for residents and a lovely
garden to enjoy in the summer months. It is a true home from home where my aunt is safe and well cared for.

My initial thoughts were the home seemed caring and homely, but when I asked questions about my relative, I was shouted at by the home manager which then set a pattern of her being abusive to me. After about a month my relative was mentally suffering so I taped them and was astounded to realise that
some of the staff were mentally abusing her to the point she could not talk for 3 months. My relative has now moved and she's now back to her normal self. If you love your relative, I would think twice before sending them there. They are not what they appear to be.

As a team we cared for your relative from her admission to Mandeville Grange on the 6th March this year, two months later at her care review, by your own admission your relative had never been happier and you were very complimentary about the care provided.
Sadly there was a breakdown in relationship between you and our staff team.
As detailed in the meeting held, we can not tolerate shouting or abuse towards our staff and you were requested to speak to our Manager in a respectful tone going forwards.
We were saddened that we could no longer meet your relative’s care needs and as such gave notice for her to find a better suited care setting.
We welcome constructive criticism and feedback as we are continually striving to improve our service.
However, we do not believe your review is reflective of the standard of care our team provides.

My Mother stayed at Mandeville Grange Nursing Home for two weeks - end-of-life care. During that short time, everybody there showed extreme kindness and care when looking after my Mother. I can't recommend them enough.

The home is ideal for my Mother. Very tranquil, very peaceful, no one rushing about, nice atmosphere. The staff are extremely helpful. They all have a good sense of humour. My Mother seems very happy there which is all one can wish for.

Staff are very caring. Mum is well cared for, and it is a home from home. There is a very welcoming atmosphere when you walk into the home. Not the most modern of homes, but that is not what one needs or would want. She has everything she needs. You can see how well looked after she is, and it gives

I would like to thank all the staff for their care and dedication. Everyone is very nice and all my needs are met. It knocks spots off the last place I was in. The food is nice and I get ice cream every day! I would recommend Mandeville Grange to anyone looking for care.

Cannot praise the manager and her team enough. I moved my Father to Mandeville Grange after he received poor care in another home. Dad's needs are fully met by attentive staff. My dad's whole attitude to life has changed, he is now smiling and looks forward to the lovely meals provided. Thank you to
