View Full Details of Bletchley HouseAbsolutely awful place! First visit we viewed it for our elderly mother all seemed ok. Didn't turn out to be nice. Mum was right down the end of the corridor , by the time she got her meals they was cold! She would press her buzzer for pain relief , carer would come, report back to the nurse, some days mum would wait for over an hour for pain relief to come. Not good when you're in pain. There was a lady screaming help me, help me constantly. That person is someone's, wife, mum, daughter , I'd hate to think of my mum screaming out like that & being ignored. Just the whole lack of care, compassion for mum. We spoke to the nurses daily about mum but felt like we was being a pain to them. We have since moved mum to a much better home, staff have been fantastic in the new home. . Mum never settled in this place & now we know why, she had the vibe it wasn't a nice place. You put your trust in these people that they will care for your elderly relatives . Not the case at Bletchley House.
My husband was originally placed in respite care to enable me to have surgery. It has since been agreed, by all medical professionals and ourselves, that he will stay permanently now. And we could not be happier. Me because he is getting much better care than I could provide, even with carers attending several times daily. Him because he is just cosy and comfortable where he is, he doesn't want to leave. The staff are all wonderful, so caring and patient. He feels safe, well looked after, and even if he gets grumpy, which he can do, the staff are all so kind to him. It means such a lot to us both that he feels secure, well cared for and happy. We can't recommend this home more highly.
I have visited and interacted with many of the residents enjoying coffee morning on Wednesday and seeing my friend. I have also enjoyed the entertainment that has been provided on afternoon and all residents as well as myself have join in and have enjoyed it the staff are very friendly from the cleaner to management I enjoy visiting and there is always a warm welcome
My mother is happy and well looked after. Room is nice, staff are great and caring. Access to visit is good and facilities provide for various types of entertainment. Overall the experience has been great.
All the staff have been very kind, caring and compassionate to our whole family after our father passed away peacefully after a short illness, leaving our mother safely in their care.
I like coming here to see the people here every Wednesday.
Both parents were admitted at the beginning of March as Dad was fast-tracked for palliative care and he was Mum's carer. He was given enough time to ensure that Mum was comfortable & being well-cared for when he passed away. His care, alone, was very good and he was comfortable & content in his last days. The staff, overall, were exceptional and so very caring, and he passed very peacefully Mum continues to be well-cared for in his absence.
My mum was very poorly and needed special care which the team at Bletchley House provided. Everyone were so very caring and understanding. The home is very clean and very well managed. Thank you doesn't cover the support and care provided by all of the team.
My mum was moved to Bletchley House from hospital we noticed within a few days how much better she was, all the things she couldn't do ie eating sitting up. Mum is so happy at Bletchley House. The staff are amazing.
Friendly staff warm + clean home. Mum seems quite happy and content here.
Mum was transferred from hospital 28 Feb 2025. No concerns at the time of completing.
Used Bletchley House Care Home for respite care following a spell in hospital.
Lovely care home lounge + dining room beautiful. Our friend is so well looked after such a change in her. Everybody so friendly lovely atmosphere.
We came to visit our friend and found Bletchley house a fantastic place. She is well looked after and has improved after being moved from hospital. The care and help she gets is second to none. The staff are lovely.
A good, caring home. They took my dad in, who had brain cancer, and looked after him in his last months. All staff were very good to him and the family - from the cleaners to the kitchen staff, to the carers, nurses and managers. All were kind.
My father-in-law was a resident here for the last few months of his life. He was always treated with kindness and dignity. I especially would like to mention that for over a month, this nursing home also cared for his elderly mother, when she came over from Malaysia to see him. They kept her, fed her and helped with all of her needs. Thank you.
I have found Bletchley House to be very welcoming, staff are approachable and friendly. The accommodation is very nice and cosy. Good sized rooms with everything that's needed for a happy stay.
From the time my brother-in-law was being discharged from hospital, until he passed away early this morning, the staff at Bletchley House were exceptional and excellent. Both in the provison of the palliative care as well as the emotional support. And not just for the patient but also for relatives. The knowledge and wisdom exhibited by the nurses, care workers and managers were 5 stars, and a blessing to our society.
My wife says it's been alright and she enjoyed her dinners.
After seeing the care given to my uncle, I believe Bletchley House is a good place. They show genuine care for others which is what he and my family needed at this time. Thank you all for the positive experience that you bring.
