I moved my mother to Bletchley House on 1/7/26 after some very unsavoury experiences at her previous care home. The staff here are very welcoming and exceptionally proficient in the large variety of roles they share. Recently, we had a scare with my mother when she was rushed to hospital. The care home supported us both throughout. She was then moved to the nursing floor on her return. I thought she had only days to live. The staff have nursed her back to health & I can't thank them enough. As she approaches 93 years old, the clinical lead has fast tracked CHC full funding which she has been awarded. I had no support like this from the previous care facility. Carers are wonderful, the management team are dynamic! I recommend them highly.

I find the carers very friendly. All staff really very caring, helpful. All very hands on. The maintenance man is excellent as well he is very friendly & bubbly, makes everyone laugh.

My son has only been resident in Bletchley House since Nov 1925, but since then we have seen a great difference in him, he seems very content, likes the staff and also thinks the food is great, so far I am a very happy mother, hope it continues.

I was very impressed by the warmth and caring attitude of my mother's nursing and caring staff. Her physical needs are well met. However, I was disappointed to come in some days and find that my mum's hearing aids not working (battery needed replacement and tubes cleaned). Also, that staff didn't encourage her to opt to go to the dining room for lunch - Mum no longer has the capacity to ask. She used to thrive on social interactions, now her life has shrunk to 4 walls which is very upsetting. I don't blame the staff, they are doing their best with constant demands on their time.
Absolutely awful place! First visit we viewed it for our elderly mother all seemed ok. Didn't turn out to be nice. Mum was right down the end of the corridor , by the time she got her meals they was cold! She would press her buzzer for pain relief , carer would come, report back to the nurse, some...
We have since moved mum to a much better home, staff have been fantastic in the new home. . Mum never settled in this place & now we know why, she had the vibe it wasn't a nice place.You put your trust in these people that they will care for your elderly relatives . Not the case at Bletchley House.
