Overall, my experience with Bletchley House is good. Staff are very approachable and call in as they pass my room. Through no fault of the home, I am currently on the first floor and feel isolated, so I don't feel I am taking advantage of the activities downstairs. I admit this is probably my fault as I don't use the call alarm, but look forward to having a room downstairs when available.
Thank you for submitting your review for Bletchley House. We understand your concern and we will contact the home to ensure you will receive your room downstairs as soon as it's available. Your feedback is important to us. Kind regards.
I was made to feel very welcome by both staff and residents.
Thank you for sharing your positive experience. We greatly appreciate your kind words about The Bletchley Care Home. Kind Regards.
All staff work hard to ensure residents have all the care and things they need to remain comfortable and secure. Significant improvements having been made thanks to a much more consistent management and staff. This along with more frequent activity sessions, help residents feel more socially included.
Thank you for sharing your positive feedback of Bletchley House care home. We are delighted to hear that your loved one has been warmly welcomed and has settled in well. Thank you for your kind words about the overall ethos of our facility. We will continue striving to provide a pleasing and exceptional care service for all residents.
Attended function for the coronation day. The event was very good. Staff seemed very caring and attentive towards the residents and very kind towards visitors. The food was good and plentiful.
Thank you for sharing your positive experience. We greatly appreciate your kind words about Bletchley House Care Home. Your recommendation means a lot to us. Kind Regards.
My mother really enjoys living here, mainly for the companionship of the other residents and the activities on offer. She really enjoys the meals, they are always tasty and the menus on offer are to her taste. The room is spacious and the en-suite is very handy. Sometimes the room could be cleaner, for example the side table where drinks and food are kept, but the bed sheets etc. are always clean.
We are glad to hear that you are satisfied with the quality of care your mom is receiving during her stay. We appreciate your feedback and will continue striving to provide the best care for all our residents. Kind Regards.
Mum's been at Bletchley House for eight weeks. Staff are very helpful and pleasant. Mum says she is comfortable but says it's very noisy and alarms sound throughout the day. I'm concerned about her food, she cannot eat hard foods as she has no teeth, soft food, please! Mum feels very safe here and likes the staff a lot. Thank you.
Mum spent ten days at Bletchley House to convalesce after being unwell and in hospital. The staff at Bletchley House helped her to get stronger and feel more confident. She is now returning home well-rested and well-fed. The carers and management have made her feel very welcome.
I am extremely impressed with the care that my wife has received with the added bonus of laughter and joking.
I sincerely hope the reintroduction of activities afternoons continues to ensure the residents are motivated and more engaged.
My mum went to Bletchley House in January 2021 very difficult time for us all BUT everyone in the whole team went the extra mile to support us and provide the best care for my mum. She loves all the activities especially. All the team are helpful respectful and compassionate in their approach and attitude. The thing that really stands out is the fun and laughter. Before I retired I worked in the care sector for 30 years. Ensuring quality of care was part of my role. So well done Bletchley House and a massive thank you.
Thank you for taking the time out to leave such a positive review. As you are a former fellow care worker, we are extremely proud to hear that you are satisfied with the quality of care we provided for your mum. We strive to ensure we support all our residents and their loved ones, especially in...
My mother became a full-time resident after recovering from medical complications in hospital. She has been there for 3 weeks now on occasions I have had to visit the staff have always been helpful and accommodating to my requests from making her comfortable to ensuring her room is made to be as homely as possible, this included picture hanging, sorting out her TV etc, I cannot thank them enough. I’m glad to say my mother has settled really well and during her lucid moments has nothing but praise for the staff... and trust me she can be fussy. I have witnessed first hand the dedication and commitment all the staff show daily in these extremely difficult times and they have my utmost admiration.
Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review. It's wonderful to hear that your mother has been able to settle in well, thanks to the team at the home. Your kind review is sincerely appreciated and it's great to hear that you feel reassured that your mother is in safe hands. Our Gold Care team...
Since my mum has been at Bletchley House, she has been back to our old mum. It wasn't an easy decision to make, to have to put our mum into a care home, but Bletchley House is the best move she has made. Mum has got her smile and happiness back, and the care she has been given is outstanding. She has also joined other residents in the lounge for company and activities, and this has helped with mum's memory.
Thank you for leaving such a wonderful review. We understand how difficult these decisions can be, and each member of our Gold Care family holds the compassion and care that we input into looking after our residents. It's lovely to hear that your mum is happy and beaming - the team at Bletchley are a true asset to us. Stay safe.
A hard decision that has turned into the best decision. Mum has really blossomed since moving to Bletchley House. Her memory has improved and she looks so well. The range of activities she has joined in is fantastic, especially since all the family can access them on Facebook, which makes us feel closer to her. The staff comes over as so caring so we feel happy she is cared for so well.
Thank you for leaving such a wonderful review. It's great to hear that your mother is enjoying the engagement and that you feel content and secure in our prevision of care. Stay safe.
I visited my sister (window visit) at Bletchley House the other day. The visit was facilitated by the Manageress. What a caring, kind soul she is. She made my sister laugh and my sister has told me she makes sure everyone is happy every day. My sister joins in all the activities which she thinks are wonderful. She has been baking, making crafts, bingo, singing, quizzes to name a few. The whole team are kind and caring and all go the extra mile to make sure my sister is happy. Everyone is friendly and there is such a nice atmosphere. The home has changed so much this year for the better. Thank you for all you do.
Thank you for taking the time out to leave such a positive review it's greatly appreciated. I am very happy here. Staff are great. Always have time for you.
Thank you for your 5* review. Short and sweet but perfect! Kind regards
Truly excellent. I hope to stay here permanently.
A 5* review, thank you very much, the feedback you give could not be better. Kind regards
My friend moved into your home before lockdown. Previously she was adamant she would not consider a care home. From day one she has had the best experience and it has amazed me how well she has settled in at Bletchley House. From chatting to her on the phone it's obvious how happy she is, and I'm so pleased to say that she is thriving. I truly believe this is down to the great care she tells me she receives and the regular stimulation from having such nice people around her all the time.
Many thanks for this wonderful review. The Bletchley team work so hard to ensure that every resident has the best of care and attention. Those who are worried about coming to a care home, especially at this time, can certainly be reassured by your comments. During lockdown, many care homes were and...
Improvements have been made to the home and continue to be ongoing. The last 6 months have seen many positive changes. Thanks for all you do. Well done all of you. The family can’t wait to visit you all properly when restrictions allow.
Many thanks for your wonderful review, it will do much to reassure those who are searching for care for a loved one and are uncertain about life in a care home! We look forward to welcoming our families back, whenever that might be. Kind regards.
I'm very well cared for.
I love being here.
What a fantastic review! Thank you for your positive comments, they will mean so much to the team in the home. Kind regards.
I moved into the home last summer as I couldn't manage by myself. The staff really care about me and look after me very well. The home is under a new manager and she always makes time for me each day. A very special home. I love it here.
Good morning Brian, thank you for taking the time out of your day to leave us such a lovely review. It's great to hear that you are happy in our care and can see how much our wonderful team genuinely care about the residents and are passionate about what they do. Take care and stay safe.
