My mum went to Bletchley House in January 2021 very difficult time for us all BUT everyone in the whole team went the extra mile to support us and provide the best care for my mum. She loves all the activities especially. All the team are helpful respectful and compassionate in their approach and attitude.
The thing that really stands out is the fun and laughter. Before I retired I worked in the care sector for 30 years. Ensuring quality of care was part of my role. So well done Bletchley House and a massive thank you.

My mother became a full-time resident after recovering from medical complications in hospital. She has been there for 3 weeks now on occasions I have had to visit the staff have always been helpful and accommodating to my requests from making her comfortable to ensuring her room is made to be as homely
as possible, this included picture hanging, sorting out her TV etc, I cannot thank them enough. I’m glad to say my mother has settled really well and during her lucid moments has nothing but praise for the staff... and trust me she can be fussy. I have witnessed first hand the dedication and commitment all the staff show daily in these extremely difficult times and they have my utmost admiration.

Since my mum has been at Bletchley House, she has been back to our old mum. It wasn't an easy decision to make, to have to put our mum into a care home, but Bletchley House is the best move she has made. Mum has got her smile and happiness back, and the care she has been given is outstanding. She has
also joined other residents in the lounge for company and activities, and this has helped with mum's memory.

A hard decision that has turned into the best decision. Mum has really blossomed since moving to Bletchley House. Her memory has improved and she looks so well. The range of activities she has joined in is fantastic, especially since all the family can access them on Facebook, which makes us feel closer
to her. The staff comes over as so caring so we feel happy she is cared for so well.

I visited my sister (window visit) at Bletchley House the other day. The visit was facilitated by the Manageress. What a caring, kind soul she is. She made my sister laugh and my sister has told me she makes sure everyone is happy every day. My sister joins in all the activities which she thinks are
wonderful. She has been baking, making crafts, bingo, singing, quizzes to name a few. The whole team are kind and caring and all go the extra mile to make sure my sister is happy. Everyone is friendly and there is such a nice atmosphere. The home has changed so much this year for the better. Thank you for all you do.

My friend moved into your home before lockdown. Previously she was adamant she would not consider a care home. From day one she has had the best experience and it has amazed me how well she has settled in at Bletchley House. From chatting to her on the phone it's obvious how happy she is, and I'm so
pleased to say that she is thriving. I truly believe this is down to the great care she tells me she receives and the regular stimulation from having such nice people around her all the time.

It’s hard to describe the happiness you feel in this building. The staff really care. I called Dad the other day and could hear music, when I asked him what it was he laughed and said they sing and dance, it makes us laugh. Sums it up really. If you want a home that goes the extra mile in every area
then I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Bletchley House.
Improvements have been made to the home and continue to be ongoing. The last 6 months have seen many positive changes. Thanks for all you do. Well done all of you. The family can’t wait to visit you all properly when restrictions allow.

I moved into the home last summer as I couldn't manage by myself. The staff really care about me and look after me very well. The home is under a new manager and she always makes time for me each day. A very special home. I love it here.

My dear aunt was admitted to this home last year. The home is full of laughter and the staff genuinely care and understand my aunt. She has improved over the last six months or so and the whole family have nothing but good things to say. The home came under new management at the start of this year,
the manager has an open door policy and shows genuine compassion for her residents and the team she works with. Even in these trying times when I talk to my aunt, she tells me she is cared for, happy and enjoys every day. The manager visits her daily to say hello and check she is happy and all the other staff are in and out through the day and night caring for her every need. Nothing is too much to ask for. Thank you to Bletchley House and all at Gold Care. We are a very happy family.

My dear Mum suffering from dementia and general old age has received the utmost care at Bletchley House.
All the regular staff, in particular, are wonderful caring people as are the relief staff we have occasionally met.
The fees payable to Gold Care compare favourably to the open market in general
- this is due to a strong management/director structure and I am grateful for this as it results in the 'best care within the available budget'.
A big thank you to all staff, management and proprietors of Gold Care Homes (Bletchley).

I’ve been volunteering for quite a while and in that time I’ve helped do a garden room sourced a fish tank and got that set up with fish and I’ve donated a couple of chickens for the residents. Over the time I’ve gotten to know the staff and a lot of the residents. The staff treat the residents like
an extended family which is really nice to see, I would defiantly recommend Bletchley house to anyone needing a carving loving home for either themselves or a loved one.

Mum and Dad moved into the home when they could not manage at home anymore. They were given two rooms side by side, one as a bedroom and one as a day room. We were very grateful that they were able to offer this accommodation and have been there for 2 1/2 years. They seem as happy as they can be, bearing
in mind their ages, Dad 97 and Mum 94 and their health issues. They are happy with the food, cleanliness of the rooms and the care they receive. The home deals with their health and contact the Doctor if necessary and are always in contact me.

The carers do their best and work very hard. The food is good. My mum always eats it up and the daytime entertainment has helped my mum to settle in the home. She looks forward to it.

Each staff member I came into contact with was very helpful and it was comforting to know if a member of staff could not answer my questions, that they would go and get someone that could. The staff are very friendly and welcoming especially the reception staff, took my friend into the garden alongside the other residents to enjoy the lovely sunny weather. There was lots of laughter and was nice to see lots of smiling faces.

I attended a 100th birthday party of a wonderful resident. The staff that attended, with some coming in on their days off, to celebrate with my friend was amazing. All staff are very helpful, caring and nothing is too much to ask of them. The management is also very caring and always available to chat
to if I need to. Overall, I would recommend this care to home to all family and friends.

Bletchley House is a warm friendly house that went over and beyond for my friend's 100th birthday with a cake so big it was wheeled in on a trolley. Everyone had a great time and even Elvis came along.

Julie began her career in the care industry in 2010, first as a marketer, then as a deputy manager, and finally as a Registered Manager in 2015.  Julie is committed to providing the highest level of person-centred care to residents and their families, ensuring that Bletchley House feels like a home away from home.
