Bletchley House Care Home provides a beautiful environment for residents to live well, including spacious and well appointed bedrooms, some with ensuite wet rooms and access to spacious lounges and dining room.

Refurbished, and also rated GOOD by PAMMS in 2024, the home also has a music and movie room, a hair salon and fantastic gardens to enjoy.

A wide variety of activities and entertainment are regularly available, organised by a dedicated activities coordinator and a first-class dining experience is enjoyed, courtesy of a talented chef.

Very very good service with friendly staff. Would definitely recommend. There are good activities and good entertainment, with loads of lovely residents.

Bletchley House always has a warm welcome and a cup of tea on offer when we visit. The staff are always cheerful and nothing seems too much trouble for them.

August, short staff. Tea trolley occasionally missed out in afternoon and tea time, in very hot weather. People get dehydrated and not being taken downstairs for lunch mostly at the weekends. People with dementia keep coming in my room, all hours shouting and swearing and touching my stuff.

My auntie was a resident for over a year, the staff were all friendly and very helpful, we were kept informed about my aunties needs , nothing was to much trouble, she made friends not only residents but with the staff, sadly she passed away but for her last remaining days the staff were with her all
the time, they even came in on their days off to sit with her and that goes a long way at a sad time. I can highly recommend this care home.

The care offered to my mother has been exceptional. Staff are kind and always offer help when asked.
General cleanliness is good. No complaints about the food, in fact, the staff are very willing to find alternatives if required.

The care for my mother is very good, the carers have a professional manner when dealing with her needs (washing, dressing, movement). Sadly, with her suffering from dementia, her memory is not good, but she still keeps smiling. She has a good relationship with the staff and they can still have a laugh.


She

always looks well presented (clothes, hair etc), eats well and enjoys talking to other residents when she goes to the communal lounge/dining room.

I think the home is excellent. I have spent a lot of time in my life in/out of the hospital but the treatment I have here has been excellent and staff look after me very well. Excellent care.

I found this home on my birthday and we moved mum to this home in May 2016 after experiencing problems in a previous home. She was in a sorry state.
The staff at Bletchley House have cared for her and loved her every day since. They helped bring her from the brink of death into a place where she was
almost "up and about" again.
2 weeks ago she had another stroke. She was not expected to survive. I practically moved in and they didn't complain, they allowed us to spend as much time with her as we needed.
The staff didn't give up on her. They have continued to care for her and love her. Today she started eating again - yet again brought from the very brink of death. We don't know how long for, but I do know that she will stay as Bletchley House until the end.


Yes, there are sometimes staff shortages, but ALL of the staff work extremely hard to ensure a consistent level of care.


I am proud to be able to give reference to the home as they have indeed been a blessing.

A lot of staff have left but are only slowly being replaced, so the use of agency staff is not ideal. Similar problems in the kitchen - the food is not as good as expected and they do not appear to have a proper chef yet.
