View Full Details of Castlemead Court Care HomeI am very happy because my mum said she is liking this care home. All the staff are kind and friendly. That's the reason I am very happy.
I cannot praise Castlemead Court Care Home enough. The dignity and quality care is outstanding. The staff are friendly and compassionate. The home is clean, food is wonderful and my father feels well looked after. He has an ensuite room which is large and comfortable. Activities are run daily. It feels like an extended family. Thank you so much!
I would like to mention that knowing my husband, who suffers from Azheimers is being looked after and cared for in a safe place by dedicated carers. To know he is helped whenever and with whatever he needs gives me great comfort, and makes it easier for me to accept he no longer lives at home with me.
The best care our nan has received! The staff go above & beyond to ensure all residents are safe, happy, comfortable & loved. No one goes without & they always treat everyone with respect & care.
Always enjoy visiting Nan at Castlemead, carers are attentive, nurses are friendly, and Nan is always in good spirits and feels looked after. Would highly recommend if you / your loved one requires more round-the-clock care.
My daughter was getting married and we didn't think Mum would be able to attend due to her health conditions, two members of staff offered to bring Mum, get her ready and push her in the wheelchair on their day off! (Mum is normally bedbound) so this was quite a feat and it made my daughter's day. I personally feel the staff all go above and beyond to make the residents feel well looked after.
Very happy with all care and find everything absolutely excellent A lovely home for all residents.
With us, everything has happened very quickly, my aunt moved to Castlemead from hospital in unplanned circumstances. As a result we weren't prepared and didn't know what to expect. The staff have gone above and beyond to help her settle in and feel safe and supported and to help us negotiate this unexpected journey. Nothing is too much trouble and there is an overwhelming feeling of community and family. The facilities are fantastic - gardens, lounges, quiet rooms, hairdressing salon, even a pub and there always seems to be something going on. Everything is spotlessly clean and well maintained but it is the family feeling that you get that makes us feel that my aunt will be very happy here
Mum has been a resident for nearly 3 years. In this time she has been treated kindly and well looked after. The home is generally well run with kind and compassionate staff.
Excellent care of my nan. Lots of activities for both residents and their families. Special occasions are always celebrated.
My mother has been treated with real care and kindness by all the staff. She is full of praise for their kindness and support and I have delighted to see that the staff have been able to help her join in with activities. Staff were always ready to support me too, which is really appreciated in responding to my requests. We feel she is safe and happy.
My wife has been in Castlemead Care Home since June 2024. She is being very well looked after. Whilst she was in hospital, they were very concerned about her eating. Now she demolishes a meal. There are many varied activities to keep her body and mind active. She has dementia and walking difficulties.
My husband has been at Castlemead for 3 weeks, suffering from Alzheimers, staying in the Poppy section. The staff from the manager, carers, activity organisers and reception have been amazing, very kind and helpful. They have made a very sad time for our family easier to come to terms with. The atmosphere is homely and cheerful, the food is very good and we are made welcome when visiting. I would recommend the care home.
I visited my good friend who went to Castlemead Court Care Home for around 7 weeks on their Poppy unit. The staff were amazing, always cheery and attentive, and I cannot thank them enough. They made me feel welcome each time I visited, the staff were always trying to encourage residents and visitors to join in with the activities, from playing board games to dancing and singing. All I can do is thank you to everyone there for making the time my friend spent at Castlemead a lovely one and keep up the good work. It's a shame they couldn't stay as it is a beautiful place, and everyone I met were so friendly.
The activities team at Castlemead Court Care Home go above and beyond to create different and exciting activities. Always something happening from fun days, days out, flower arranging lunches. The activity staff are absolutely amazing, funny, friendly and very caring.
My nan came in for 2 weeks' respite in June so I could go on holiday and also give my mum a little break. The care my nan received from staff on the Daisy unit was excellent, and me and my mum really appreciated it. My nan loved being there, and we were in talks about her staying for longer as she enjoyed it so much, but she sadly passed away before the end of her respite. Both I and my mum want to say thank you to all the staff on the Daisy unit for making the 2 weeks special for my nan.
I am very happy with the way my Mum is cared for at Castlemead Court Care Home. The staff are very friendly and professional and keep me well informed of my Mum's well-being. Castlemead has to be one of the best care homes in the Milton Keynes area, as my Mum has stayed in a few other care homes before coming to Castlemead and I'm glad she is there.
Moving Dad into a care setting was very distressing for him and our family because he has always been so independent despite being totally blind. I had many concerns about how his complex needs would be met. I have been encouraged by the staff and manager to raise any concerns I have and have felt listened to. Over the six months he's been at Castlemead he has settled well and seems so much happier now. I sense my Dad is treated as an individual, with dignity and respect.
My husband came to Catlemead at the end of 2023. The care and attention he is given is second to none. I can't praise the staff highly enough. They are all very caring and supportive and that support has also been extended to me. The manager is trying to include him more in the activities by seeking more ways to provide stimulation for him. I couldn't ask for more!
I have been visiting my elderly friend at Castlemead for over 12 months and I can honestly say that I am happy and confident that my friend is being cared for in the best way possible. It's not easy leaving a loved one in a care home, but when this time comes due to them needing 24-hour care and supervision then you need staff who are kind, caring, compassionate, and empathetic. I have found all of this at Castlemead and I am so very grateful to all of the lovely staff there who do a fantastic job. I am extremely grateful for all of the hard work and dedication of the staff at Castlemead.
