Castlemead Court is a modern purpose built 79 bed care home set in its own grounds with private parking for visitors. The home provides the highest standards of care and accommodation for people with residential, dementia, nursing or palliative care needs.
All the bedrooms have en-suite facilities and all areas of the home are accessible to wheelchair users. There are lounge and dining areas with kitchenettes on each floor where meals are provided by the award winning chef and his team who can cater for all specialist diets. In addition, there are various quiet areas around the home and a Hairdressing Salon.
There is a full activities programme to suit all needs and abilities and regular Church Services are held for those who wish to attend.

Mum has only been in the care home for 3 weeks so far , and I can honestly say she has blossomed since being there. The staff are always so kind and considerate and are ready to step in if help and support is needed, nothing is too much trouble for them. The food is always good and many snacks and drinks offered between meals. There always seems to be someone you can talk to if we want to ask how mum has been whilst we were away. The actives are very varied and well thought out. I have nothing negative to say. Well done everyone.

Mum relocated to Castlemead Court in November 2024, and we haven't looked back since. A care home can look like a Palace but it's the people that make a care home, a home. The staff here are simply wonderful, from management to kitchen staff and everyone in between. I'd go as far as to say some are like family to mum and me. I was unable to visit last year due to illness and mum ran out of chocolate, so the staff went and got some for her. I should add that mum cannot communicate, so she could't have asked them, they just saw the need and knew I was unable to visit, so sorted it themselves. Every visit, I see staff across the unit go about their work with kindness and compassion and when your loved one passes, they are there for you too, even attending the funeral. I have rarely seen such dedication to duty. #notallangelshavewings
