Our mum has been a resident at Ashlyns for nearly a year now. The whole of the team have been amazing since she arrived, kind, incredible friendly, patient and respectful.
The home is always spotless, with fresh flowers making it feel like home from home.
Communication with families is excellent.
The activities team do an amazing job getting everyone involved.
The chef makes sure they all have a great choice of dishes available.
As a family we cannot fault Ashlyns for our own peace of mind we know she is safe and well looked after and happy.

Ashlyn Care Home

Overall Experience 1.0 out of 5
Absolutely awful. My husband suffered kidney failure, sepsis and pneumonia whilst on respite care. When he came ack to the home I went to visit. One day his clothes, face and hands were covered in food. I asked the person in charge to sort this, she said "I haven't been in the lounge today so I
haven't seen him." Final day he was there he was still in bed at 10am with a catheter full to bursting! I was told staff were "too busy" to empty the bag. My husband has only just been discharged from the hospital. The photos on the website look wonderful but all the time I was there, residents were just left in front of the TV. I saw very little in the way of engaging activities.

My dad has been with Glennfield for over a year. I have already recommended this care home to a friend who has now put her father in their care. I honestly can't fault the care he receives; he is always clean & well tended. The staff are so welcoming & friendly, I now feel that it's my dad's home. The
support I receive from the staff is great, they are always friendly, welcoming and helpful.

Overall Experience 5.0 out of 5
My brother has been at St George Court for 2 years, and he has been very happy here. He is well looked after, and it is obvious that the wonderful staff truly care about him and his wellbeing. They know him very well and always treat him with respect and kindness. I have experienced nothing but compassion
and understanding from all the staff, who are friendly and very good at their jobs. I'm kept informed about issues affecting my brother, and I know I can ask questions and get answers anytime I need to - management are approachable and empathetic, and that feeling of a community runs through the whole care home. I feel very lucky for my brother and myself that this is his home.

As soon as I contacted the manager for assistance in finding somewhere for my cousin, she couldn't have been more helpful. Within a week, my cousin was out of hospital and settled in her new room. The facilities are excellent and the staff are brilliant, nothing is too much trouble. The activities are
great wth such a variety of things for them to do, and my cousin is happy and very comfortable in her new home.

Westport Care Home has a very strong leadership dedicated to doing their best for every resident. The staff appear to be well trained and very attentive to the residents with their approach to care. They have varied activities, and consideration is given to individual needs and capabilities regarding
food. There is a strong emphasis on earth residents' dignity, safety and choice.

The Willows has a light, airy and calming atmosphere as soon as you walk through the front doors. All the staff are pleasant and helpful and treat residents with kindness, understanding and dignity. Residents are encouraged to take part in activities both individually and in groups. Mum's room is kept
spotlessly clean and her clothing laundered well.
Food is cooked fresh daily with a good variety on the menu for residents to choose from (smells good too!).
