To my relief and delight, our mother settled in very quickly. From the start she sang the praises of the very friendly staff. All the employees I have met so far are so pleasant and helpful! Looking after old people cannot be a fun job, but there is always happiness in the air at Primrose Craft.
In
addition, when we have asked for a picture to be hung or an appliance mended, it has always happened fast. So: top marks so far!
Now all you need is to oil that squeaky front gate...

You are always made to feel welcome. It is lovely to see staff in the communal areas with the residents and interacting too. I have been so pleased with the care that my neighbour receives, its lovely to see what she gets up to + involved in as this becomes a talking point.

My mum sadly only spent a short time here before she passed away. She was initially very resistant to staying as she has been in other day centres. However, the team were incredibly patient, considerate, and accommodating. They took the time to understand her worries. Over time, she was happy to stay,
mum began to feel comfortable and was socialising with the other ladies. My last conversation with her before she passed away was her describing her positive interactions with people at the day centre. It made a very difficult time a little lighter for our family, and we will always be grateful.

Our mom who has Alzheimers was reluctant to move into a care home but the day we took her to look around the staff were so kind, it felt warm and homely. My mom actually said this is the place for me! We can't believe our luck at how happy and settled she is. This is down to the wonderful staff and
the kindness she is given, it feels like one big family. We actually sleep now knowing she is happy and extremely well cared for. My mum never wanted to join in with activities before moving in there and had no interest in food. Now she eats well due to the amazing chefs and does fun activities every day. She's hardly in her room! She tells us she loves the staff and we can understand why. They are a very special team of people and we appreciate all they do for her, we can't thank them enough.
Absolutely top marks for Fitzwilliam House Care Home.

Waterhall is a lovely, well run care home. My mother has dementia and is bedbound, so she needs total care from the kind, caring staff. The staff are very professional and take good care of him.

My wife is suffering with dementia, heart trouble, bowel and bladder problems and the inability to walk. She is cared for by a kind, caring and considerate workforce who somehow always manage to make her smile. The atmosphere of the home is always warm and friendly.

Primrose have really been looking after my father and he is very happy. The staff are respectful and considerate and very kind to all the residents and families. Each resident has a special place.

I have always found the care and attention that mum receives to be of the highest standard. She is safe, and all her needs are met. Everyone keeps me informed of any information I need on mum and of how she is doing, and I know that I can always raise any concerns of my own. The activities programme
is a lot of fun, and I have joined mum in regular music and dance sessions.
