Care Homes Owned by Excelcare in Cambridgeshire

I visited a friend of the family who has recently moved into this home and having no previous experience in care homes I was so pleased to enter such a lovely warm atmosphere and friendly people. Out family friend said the staff are lovely and the manager Jane was really welcoming and came and said hello to us during our visit. We were offered refreshments and went and sat in the internal garden as if was a lovely day! Our friend said there is always something to do!!

Such a beautiful care home. I haven't visited many but this place felt welcoming, the staff were very friendly and all of the residents seemed to be well looked after and happy. Everything was very clean. I visited with my Nan to see her friend Joan. Such a warm environment and a very pleasant time.

It was nice to see my mum looking well and being happy. She seemed very well cared for and the staff were all very friendly. I was able to visit over the lunchtime so got to share a meal with wand then the staff assisted her and the other residents to the courtyard for a relaxing afternoon.

It is comforting to know my aunt is living in such a caring environment where she is treated with dignity and respect.

I went to visit a member of my family when I was home from Australia this summer and I was so happy with how well cared for my family member was. She seemed so happy and everyone that worked there was so welcoming

I have been extremely impressed by the quality of care received by my parents. The staff are always courteous, helpful, professional. I'm always impressed by how clean and tidy the care home is kept. It is very well managed and there is a wonderfully warm atmosphere.

I highly recommend Buchan House Care Home. Dad moved into Buchan House nearly a year ago and we are so pleased with the move. The care staff are incredible and show Dad, and all the other residents respect, dignity and love. Dad's hobbies and interests are known. The activities put on are amazing, there is something happening all of the time. Dad has also been taken on trips to the zoo and the beach. The thing that matters most though is the exceptional care he receives. He is known, loved and cared for. Thank you Buchan House team.

Glenfield Care Home has a very welcoming atmosphere as soon as you walk into the reception hall. Front of house staff and management team, are all helpful and kind to you, especially when my mum first went in ,they make sure you know how the whole place works for your loved one and yourself. The Care for my mum in her room was exceptional from all the Carers, nothing was too much trouble for them, whatever was requested, they did their very best to provide, Nurse Linda was so very helpful at all times with the medical needs for mum. The food was always of good quality and choice at each and every meal time, snacks and drinks in between always available. Entertainment provided to make life happy and enjoyable for all the residents, was always of good quality and seemed to be greatly appreciated by the residents. Cleaning staff do a great job as clothes washing team do too. Mum was in for 6 weeks to get over a long illness ,and I would recommend this Care Home to anyone.

My father is always happy when we visit him and everyone knows him, even other residents families. We see all the things the staff do with the resident on social media and my father is always involved. It's a lovely place.

I'm really impressed with this nursing home. The inside and outside cleanliness, the staff especially the manager who has greeted and time for us when we have called.

The HCAs are really lovely, very caring and supportive. I find them easy to talk to and they will find time to give me updates whenever I ask. Communication from the home is good. I feel happy that my aunt is well looked after, safe and happy at Fitzwilliam House.

A wonderful home and wonderful staff. All my mums needs are met and she is happy. We cannot ask for more . The activities are very good and it's always good to see mum taking part when she can. We look for her on Social Media.,

I did a lot of research into care homes around Cambridge before placing both my parents here; and I have to say that all of my hopes for the quality of care that they would receive at Primrose Croft Care Home have been fulfilled. Primrose is a remarkable place, full of genuinely caring and well trained staff at all levels, who consistently go the extra mile not only in looking after the personal and medical needs of my parents (one of whom has dementia, the other having leg problems and mobility issues), but in also developing a proper relationship with them both, that is authentic, human... and humane. On admin and managerial levels too, the home is very well run, which makes life much easier for me as the middle-aged child of elderly parents, with my own family to look after! My parents' rooms are excellent, the activities in the social areas imaginative (art and exercise classes, pet therapy, beach trips), and the patio and lawn have been indispensable this summer of course. Bravo

I have been visiting friends who live at St George's Court Care Home for several years, and my experience has always been very positive. The staff are friendly, compassionate, and genuinely caring. The home is always clean and well maintained, but most importantly, my friends have been happy and well cared for throughout their time there. I would happily recommend St George's Court Care Home to anyone looking for a caring and supportive environment.

What a lovely care home, with caring and friendly staff, everyone seems so happy and cheerful. Cleanliness is excellent, it's always a joy to visit my husband and the other residents.
