I found you wonderful to my brother-in-law and my sister, his wife, Pauline. You looked after him so well, above and beyond. The staff are fantastic, and the whole place is wonderful. My sister lost Andy on 13th Sept, 1 week before his birthday. No one shall be in pain. It's sad how the stroke affected
him 2 years after he had it. All of you are wonderful.

We visit Graham, we have been very good friends since Peter and Graham were 18 years old and joined the army at the same time. We class ourselves as family and been through many ups and downs together. Our children and grand children have only ever known Graham and his late wife Ellan as Auntie and
Uncle. All the staff we have been in contact with have always been polite and very helpful.

My mum unexpectedly became a resident following a fall, a rapid deterioration in her memory and a horrible 2 month hospital stay. I was concerned about past reviews and reports but all worries have been dispelled by a very caring and responsive staff. Mum has really enjoyed the wide range of activities
offered and regained much of her pleasure in life and had started to regain weight. She is well cared for and my sister and I are very happy to be kept well informed about her progress and advised about any concerns. They also organised a lovely 90th Birthday for her attended by a few friends and family.

My nan has been living at Primrose and I honestly couldn't be happier with the care she receives. The staff are so kind, patient, and genuinely care for her as if she were their own family. Every time I visit, she looks well looked after, comfortable, and happy. The home itself feels warm and welcoming,

Overall Experience 4.0 out of 5
My mum is generally well cared for, staff are kind and helpful, there is a friendly and welcoming atmosphere. There are a lot of activities to join in with and the coordinator is very good at encouraging and enabling people to take part. If my mum is ever out at mealtimes a plate of food is always saved
for her if we haven't said she won't need the meal. Staff learn the resident's preferences and create a jolly atmosphere in the dining room. Sometimes everyone needs help at the same time and it can be a bit frustrating waiting. It's a shame when staff leave after a fairly short time but there is a good core of long term staff members. Newly decorated in nice calm clean manner.

As a family, we are so pleased that we chose Brook House for my Nanna following on from her dementia diagnosis. Nanna was a resident at Brook House for over two years, and in that time she, and we, all got to know the team well. The atmosphere at Brook House is very welcoming and relaxed, and the staff
are friendly, caring and always happy to help the residents and their families/friends. Nanna being a resident at Brook House meant that she was always safe, warm, had company, and looked after which allowed us to spend time with her as family. Nanna could sometimes be difficult and uncooperative, but the staff were always patient, kind and respectful, even when she was giving them an earful!
We are so grateful to everyone at Brook House, and cannot thank them enough for the kindness and care that Nanna received.

My late mother has been looked after very well, with such attention to her dignity and with such kindness throughout her stay. This review pertains to her last month and final days. The manager and her team went above and beyond their duties to ensure that mum has the appropriate medical and clinical
care for her end of life at Brook House. So much kindness and compassion was afforded mum. The carers and manager were on duty 24/7 and ensured they engaged the district nurses & GP promptly - much effort was required by the team to ensure a good/excellent end of life experience for our mother - we are v.grateful
