My father is always happy when we visit him and everyone knows him, even other residents families. We see all the things the staff do with the resident on social media and my father is always involved. It's a lovely place.

The HCAs are really lovely, very caring and supportive. I find them easy to talk to and they will find time to give me updates whenever I ask. Communication from the home is good. I feel happy that my aunt is well looked after, safe and happy at Fitzwilliam House.

A wonderful home and wonderful staff. All my mums needs are met and she is happy. We cannot ask for more . The activities are very good and it's always good to see mum taking part when she can. We look for her on Social Media.,

Fitzwilliam Home in Cottenham is a beautiful home that ensures your loved ones are safe, well looked after and loved. The staff are so lovely and kind, the home is so clean and there are always stimulating activities to keep the residents entertained. The kitchen staff cook such lovely and healthy meals for the residents every day as well as baking the most gorgeous luxurious birthday cakes for the residents making them feel so special on their birthdays! My mother and I are so happy and grateful that my Grandad is living at such a wonderful home.

Whenever I have visited my friend, I have been impressed with the friendly welcome from the staff. My friend always looks clean and well cared for. The staff are good at interacting with residents. It is always fresh and clean in the rooms downstairs.

Fitzwilliam home is a lovely home for my mom , the residents are very well looked after by all the caring carers who give 100% to all residents . Entertainment is fantastic, they all look very happy dancing and singing to live bands , play bingo , they all get involved with Art to decorate the home to celebrate special occasions like Mother's Day / Easter etc . My mom loves gardening and being outdoors , the residents can sit in the comfy garden chairs and enjoy the well kept gardens . The chefs make lovely meals as well as special occasions like hydration week they made smoothies & jellies and platters of fruit for all residents which looked delicious. All the staff really make it feel like one big family . Thank you for caring for my mom .

Just such a lovely care home for our mum. Very attentive staff who go above and beyond to look after and care for mum. We are really happy and mum is too! Highly recommend this care home!

You are always made to feel welcome. It is lovely to see staff in the communal areas with the residents and interacting too. I have been so pleased with the care that my neighbour receives, its lovely to see what she gets up to + involved in as this becomes a talking point.

I think this is an extremely good care home, when I visit my sister she is always laughing and happy.

Where does one even begin to start when we wish to let others know to be sure that their lives ones will be safe when they enter the doors of Fitzwilliam care home Cottenham, I'm hoping by me leaving this review you will understand that your loved one is not just entering a care home they are entering a world of genuine love and care, I've experienced first hand what care was provided and it is outstanding, every detail is covered and the staff go above and beyond to make the residence comfortable, the effort the staff provide is relentless I was in no doubt that my mum was in safe hands. The home caters for residence with differing levels of dementia from the early days till end of life, they have events monthly all throughout the year, the food is definitely of a high standard, rooms always cleaned and no stone is unturned to ensure the residence is kept as happy as can be.i'm truly grateful my mum was able to spend her life here, Thank you to the staff deep from within my Heart.

The staff are very friendly, helpful, and responsive. As a family, we visit our mother daily, and it is very rare that she appears sad. She shows clear signs of warmth and happiness toward the staff. Knowing our mother is settled and happy eases the pain we have for her being in a residential home.

Having visited a number of Care Homes in Cambridgeshire, looking for a suitable place for Carer's Respite for my Step Father to visit, we were so impressed with the Manager (Georgiana) and her staff at Fitzwilliam House that, even though the actual building was not as attractive as a Central Cambridgeshire one we looked at, we decided Fitzwilliam was the right place for him.

The standards of care are amazingly high at my partner and I both agree that it is a classic case of good, caring practive filtering down from the top to the rest of the staff.
