I am very happy with the care provided to my mum, she always looks very well cared for ie cleanliness, dress etc. She enjoys food and the menu is excellent. Mum has always been an active lady and this is encouraged daily by staff and a specific activities person ie music, craft, games etc. Staff members are positive, happy and smiling which mum responds to very well. Thank you for all the wonderful care.

Overall Experience

I have been thoroughly impressed with the standard of care provided within the care home. Whenever I have visited my granpa the facilities have always been exceptionally clean and there is a great community atmosphere within the home itself. The shared living room is always a hit with the residents and there are frequently fun activities to provide the residents with some social satisfaction. The staff are truly wonderful and go out of their way to help support both my granpa and me whenever I'm there so I can make the most of my time with him. With my granpa's condition it can be quite emotionally tiring when he is having a bad day but no matter the challenge the staff are always pleasant and approach everything with a smile. The carers build a great rapport with residents and family members alike.

Dear Team Waterhall Care Home, Durig 2025 and 2026 is without a doubt is OUTSTANDING. Linda has been well looked after which are really appreciate. The management and all the staff are wonderful during this extremely hot spell of weather the management and staff have some around with watermelon, ice creams and drinks. The BBC news has mentioned within the next 10 years it will be compulsory for care homes to have air conditioning some care homes already have AC. Appreciate it is expensive in the first instance but will benefit long term. Have Waterhall considered getting an estimate? The patients as well of staff would benefit. Thank you.

The care and facilities were outstanding.

The food was of good quality and the service was very understanding,which helped to give her a better appetite when she came home.

My dad came into Waterhall Care Home in June 2025 after having a fall and being unable to go back to his home. From the start everyone was very approachable, kind and caring. The care my dad has received has been second to none. I know that my dad is very well cared for in a nice environment. I would have no hesitation in recommending Waterhill Care Home.

We checked local care homes before choosing The Willows and were not disappointed. My sister's health and mental capacity had reached a point that careful care was needed, and that is what she received.

The staff were very professional and caring at all levels, we were kept well informed as a number of situations developed. The management were also very professional and caring. We felt so happy that we had chosen The Willows.

My brother is a new resident here. The minute you walk in this beautiful light and airy home you are surrounded with love and care and respect, not just to residents but to families too.
There is loads going on ;activities, entertainment, little touches and lots of smiling faces. It's clear they really care.
Knowing my brother is safe and happy and treated with so much dignity gives me huge peace of mind. Every birthday is so special including my brother's first one.here. A special cake was made for him by the kitchen staff who we should not forget to give a mention to. My brother loves his meals and the food is delicious as I have joined him for lunch recently.

The recent trip to the farm which I volunteered was such a FUN DAY out for both - residents and carers ! Thank you to every single member of the team.You all are AMAZING.
