I regularly visit my father-in-law at Dovecote Manor and I am very pleased with the home. I usually take my doggy in to see him and she is always very welcome; the front desk staff even have some treats for visiting doggies. The staff are always very welcoming and I never worry about the care my father-in-law
is receiving. His room and the general area is always clean and tidy and I feel that he is treated with respect and courtesy. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Dovecote to others and indeed I have already done so.
Reply from George Butnaru, Home Manager at Dovecote ManorThank you very much for taking the time to share your kind feedback. Your recommendation means a great deal to us, and I will be sure to share your comments with the team, who will be encouraged by your kind words.

The staff at Dovecote are friendly and welcoming. They've always been quick to respond to any queries and are eager to help residents and their families. They genuinely care for the residents and I feel my grandfather is treated with dignity and respect at all times. There is a lovely community atmosphere
within Dovecote and the range of activities and events for residents is impressive. Although my grandfather does not tend to participate in the group activities, I'm grateful that he has the opportunity.

Always made to feel welcome whenever I visit. The staff are always approachable and have always assisted when requested. Dad is very comfortable and is well looked after in his room, which is kept spotlessly clean. The facilities overall are excellent, as well as the activities that are laid on for
the residents. The staff are very good at communicating to the family and endeavour to address any concerns.
It's reassuring that dad is in a safe place and well cared for.

My mother passed away peacefully after almost a year at The Willows. During her time there my mother received excellent compassionate care from the wonderful staff on Jasmine ward. They anticipated her needs and took great care to keep her relaxed and comfortable as she became more frail. My mother
constantly praised their kindness. The staff always kept the family well informed and made us feel very welcome and indeed looked out for us too. We feel so very lucky that mum found such wonderful staff to look after her in her final months. Thank you.

The Dovecote staff know my family member well and nothing is ever too much trouble for this lovely care team.
The Dovecote carers and team are well supported and led by the Care Home manager who ensures the highest quality care.
He is a visible and approachable leader and I can see how well respected
he is by his team.
The housekeeping service including cleaning and laundry is of an excellent standard.
There are numerous recreational activities at Dovecote, either group or at the bedside. I really appreciate the photos / videos sent through to me.
Placing a loved one in a care home is a difficult decision, but knowing that they are safe and so well cared for makes such a difference. Thankyou Dovecote

Mum relocated to Castlemead Court in November 2024, and we haven't looked back since. A care home can look like a Palace but it's the people that make a care home, a home. The staff here are simply wonderful, from management to kitchen staff and everyone in between. I'd go as far as to say some are
like family to mum and me. I was unable to visit last year due to illness and mum ran out of chocolate, so the staff went and got some for her. I should add that mum cannot communicate, so she could't have asked them, they just saw the need and knew I was unable to visit, so sorted it themselves. Every visit, I see staff across the unit go about their work with kindness and compassion and when your loved one passes, they are there for you too, even attending the funeral. I have rarely seen such dedication to duty. #notallangelshavewings

I just can't thank neath house enough.
My husband had another weeks respite there this week which enabled me to have a few days abroad for some much needed relaxation and sun.
I was totally relaxed because I knew he would be so well looked after as he had been previously.
As a wife who's husband
has dementia at such a young age it very difficult to put your trust in anyone else to care for him but I totally trust all the staff at neath house.
I just want to thank you all and I appreciate all the care you give john when hes with you it has made such a huge difference to me.
Keep up the good work you are all.stars
