The Dovecote staff know my family member well and nothing is ever too much trouble for this lovely care team.
The Dovecote carers and team are well supported and led by the Care Home manager who ensures the highest quality care.
He is a visible and approachable leader and I can see how well respected
he is by his team.
The housekeeping service including cleaning and laundry is of an excellent standard.
There are numerous recreational activities at Dovecote, either group or at the bedside. I really appreciate the photos / videos sent through to me.
Placing a loved one in a care home is a difficult decision, but knowing that they are safe and so well cared for makes such a difference. Thankyou Dovecote

It is reassuring to know that my family member is being cared for so well by the loveliest of staff. They are very professional and it's clear to see that they work seamlessly together to provide the best care for all the residents. There is always a lovely atmosphere in the home and it's kept impeccably
clean. The home is really good at communicating and keeping me updated about my father, which is very much appreciated, as are seeing pictures of him taking part in any social activities.

Mum relocated to Castlemead Court in November 2024, and we haven't looked back since. A care home can look like a Palace but it's the people that make a care home, a home. The staff here are simply wonderful, from management to kitchen staff and everyone in between. I'd go as far as to say some are
like family to mum and me. I was unable to visit last year due to illness and mum ran out of chocolate, so the staff went and got some for her. I should add that mum cannot communicate, so she could't have asked them, they just saw the need and knew I was unable to visit, so sorted it themselves. Every visit, I see staff across the unit go about their work with kindness and compassion and when your loved one passes, they are there for you too, even attending the funeral. I have rarely seen such dedication to duty. #notallangelshavewings

I just can't thank neath house enough.
My husband had another weeks respite there this week which enabled me to have a few days abroad for some much needed relaxation and sun.
I was totally relaxed because I knew he would be so well looked after as he had been previously.
As a wife who's husband
has dementia at such a young age it very difficult to put your trust in anyone else to care for him but I totally trust all the staff at neath house.
I just want to thank you all and I appreciate all the care you give john when hes with you it has made such a huge difference to me.
Keep up the good work you are all.stars

My wife when hospitalised at the beginning of the year it was recognised that she suffered from dementia also unable to walk because of her hips, therefore bed bound. Myself at 79 couldn't cope with Linda's situation. Since then, Linda has been in Waterhall Care Home. The help and support Linda and
myself have received from the managers and staff at this care home has been outstanding. I couldn't wish for anything better. I have been very lucky to be taken care of by an outstanding home. We have been happily married for 53 years and have four grown up children busy with their own lives. I spend every afternoon with my wife at the home and go home exhausted, and a grown up man, but she makes me cry. Thank you to Waterhall Care Home.

Mum in law spent 7 1/2 years in The Willows before her passing at the age of 98. She had vascular dementia and no mobility. In all that time she did not get a bedsore! Personal care was obviously very good. She was encouraged to eat but given freedom to choose, which I believe was the best for her.
Staff were cheerful and kind, and did their very best for her. She was unable/unwilling to participate in group activities so I was very grateful for those which came to individual rooms - Busking Bob for example.

My mum has been in Waterhall care home for over two years and I can't praise them highly enough. My mum has complex medical needs and needs help with every aspect of daily living.
The nurses are experienced and competent and ensure that my mum's medical conditions are monitored and treated appropriately.
They update me with any changes to her health in a professional and appropriate manner.

The carers are fantastic and help my mum to live the best life possible. Nothing is too much trouble. They support her to use her phone, access her talking books and choose what she wants to eat and wear. There is an entertainment and activity program which mum loves.
The home is clean , warm and friendly, visiting is a pleasant experience and I always get a warm welcome.
I always say the staff care for my mum as if she were their own family member and I cannot thank them enough.
