The staff at Westport are all amazing! My uncle is a very nervous person, but since being at Westport, he has completely come out of himself and has told us he never wants to leave. He is so happy thanks to the care of all the staff and we appreciate you all! Thank you.

I attended today's meeting for relatives with my husband. All aspects of care were covered, including health, doctors and dentistry, catering, activities, and days out. Much has been planned for the coming months. The meeting took place outside in the well-kept garden, and refreshments were available.
An excellent meeting. Thank you to all who attended. I'm certainly impressed with everything at Westport Care Home and couldn't be happier that my brother-in-law is living at this home - it really is 'homely'. A massive thank you to all the staff. It was great to meet the handyman, who has done so much to help my brother-in-law.

Absolutely great, very professional and always greeted with a smile, also very helpful for example, I asked for a parking permit, and she advised me to check the street as there was ongoing work on the street, in many others, very accommodating. All care homes should have a receptionist like Dhvani.

The staff were consistent, kind and attentive.
The residents were treated with dignity and the home feels welcoming and safe.

My sister had a stroke and fast tracked dementia three years ago. Since then she has been living in Pear Trea under DOLs. Supporting her has not been easy as she previously lived as a recluse and I had not seen her for ten years. The was her choice not to engage with our other siblings She lived alone
and did not seem to have friends. Just a pet dog.
The care home staff have been really helpful to me in understanding her behaviour - she was not always easy and often rude to me and blamed me for locking her up. She always wanted to go home and this went through the specialist court. It was agreed she could not care for herself safely. Over time I saw that her dementia had increased. I am very happy with the care and support she is given - and bit by bit she has been encouraged to get involved in the excellent entertainment activity sessions etc. She is very well supported to maintain good cleanliness routine and the medical care is great. Food is very good and meal times sociable

Park Avenue Care Home has exceeded our expectations. We had the same doubts everyone would have before we placed our Dad here but he is so much healthier and happier than when he had been home on his own with carers and, in the end, with a full time carer. I can honestly say that he is much safer here
than when he was in his own home and I do not need to worry about any aspect of his care. He has done more in the 2 months he's been here than he has done recently at home: trips to the garden, a trip to the theatre, one to the park, a bus trip..............
The staff at the home are all excellent: competent, compassionate and communicative. I have yet to find one who has not been pleasant and chatty and honestly caring about all the residents and respectful of each other.
I came along to a cheese and wine evening they held recently and it was a great opportunity to meet other relatives and friends of residents and, most essentially, not feel alone in this journey.

Park Avenue Care Home has exceeded all our expectations. Before he was at this home, my Dad was not mobile (we never thought we'd see him walk again) and his social life was non-existent. Within two days of being at Park Avenue Care Home they had him walking and he was so much happier with all the social
activities around him (he's been to the theater and a park). It's been so wonderful to see the positive change in him at this challenging time of his life.

I cannot speak highly enough of Limetree Care Home. My mother-in-law has been residing at Limetree for six months. From day one she has been happy at Limetree, she is well cared for, clean, healthy and happy. She has friends, engages in all activities, loves the babies that visit. She says she has wonderful
carers and she wants for nothing. As we live overseas it is such a comfort to us to know that my mother-in-law is so happy. The management and staff are all so genuinely caring and also available for family members who have any questions. I am very impressed with the care given at Limetree and have no hesitation in recommending this home for anyone-its number 1 in my book, absolutely no complaints.
