Excelcare Park Avenue Care Home

We picked Park Avenue after seeing two other similarly-priced care homes in Bromley. It stood out being modern, clean, bright and how positive the staff were. My aunt is really happy there - the room is large, clean, and the staff without question are kind, patient, and caring. There are activities in the home, regular trips out, and we're kept in regular touch via email updates, and during our visits. We all fully recommend Park Avenue!

Sadly his health has deteriorated a lot since he moved in (in no way related to the care he receives) and the way the staff have adapted the care to meet his needs has been sensitive and kind. They are both very professional and also friendly and informal. A wonderful group of people who I cannot thank enough.

Just spent a lovely morning with my Mum and other residents making fruit kebabs. This is just one of the many activities that Park Avenue Care Home arrange for the residents, there is always something going on! The staff are very caring and always keep me informed of how my Mum is. She is so much more mobile than when she first arrived, and it is a relief to me that she is well looked after and is safe and warm and happy.

I came along to a cheese and wine evening they held recently and it was a great opportunity to meet other relatives and friends of residents and, most essentially, not feel alone in this journey.

Park Avenue Care Home has exceeded all our expectations. Before he was at this home, my Dad was not mobile (we never thought we'd see him walk again) and his social life was non-existent. Within two days of being at Park Avenue Care Home they had him walking and he was so much happier with all the social activities around him (he's been to the theater and a park). It's been so wonderful to see the positive change in him at this challenging time of his life.

Our aunt has been living at Park Avenue Care Home, and it's been a wonderful experience. She really enjoys her time there, and the staff are incredible-so kind, patient, and professional. The home is warm, comfortable, and beautifully maintained. The dementia care is excellent, giving her the support and attention she needs while keeping her engaged. We're so grateful for the care she receives every day.

The manager and staff were always warm, caring and welcoming. They have a lovely, warm relationships with residents.

The nurses communicated well with me throughout and I was involved in the decision making process at all times.

I cannot thank the team enough for the compassion and professionalism they show every day. I would not hesitate to recommend this home.

I was incredibly impressed when I attended the Christmas lights switch-on at Park Avenue Care Home with my friend, whose grandma lives there. It was lovely to see so many people attend and come together to celebrate. The Christmas lights were absolutely beautiful and created such a warm, festive atmosphere. It's clear that a lot of care and effort goes into making residents and their families feel welcome and included. A truly wonderful experience.

Caring staff who are prompt in caring for residents at normal times and when they might need special care. Particular touching how they spend time in ensuring the festive season is comfortable and happy for the residents!

The staff are fabulous at Park Avenue! It's a very welcoming environment and my friend is very. happy staying there. He is no longer lonely and gets involved in many different activities that the staff put on for the residents. The food choices are great, the rooms are spacious and nothing is too much trouble. I'd definitely recommend Park Avenue.

I am very pleased with this Care Home

I would definitely recommend this home to other people.

Our father has advanced dementia but we have comfort and peace of mind knowing he is safe and being treated with dignity. The home is immaculately clean and spacious, with large bedrooms. We also find the food varied and nutritious; the menu having recently been revamped. The activities team is also very nurturing and tries to gently engage the residents who are able with crafts etc.

The staff are always polite and even when busy, which tends to be often, are able to respond quickly to any requests made. The home is clean, safe, and secure, which provides me with reassurance that my father's care needs are being met. The activities and entertainment are also good, and it is clear that effort is made by the home to include as many residents as possible in these activities.

Brought my Nan to see her old friend on the day the home was hosting their annual summer BBQ. My Nan had a fabulous time. We were very impressed with the cleanliness of the home and the staff were friendly and helpful.
