During this time I have been a volunteer visitor, I have been impressed by the range of activities provided for the residents. The residents are always treated well, and their dignity is always paramount. The rooms and communal areas are always spotless. The residents appear to have appetising meals.
The residents are always well-dressed and groomed. The staff are attentive and know the residents in their care. In my role as a church visitor, this is the best home I have visited.

I cannot thank the staff at peartree enough, we lost mum on news years day, but mum had the best time there, she wasn't a easy lady but they took mum in and she was able to make friends have a routine and began to engage with the activities provided I myself would do some exercise with her and other
residents who were on her floor much to her delight, the events and activities are top tier at Peartree Carehome and mum would enjoy them so much, mum was diagnosed with a twisted stomach given 3 to 6months to live she survived two birthdays celebrated 90 and 91 she would of been 92 today, Peartree helped her to live more, in her last moments the staff at Peartree made sure mums room was clean and tidy, she was washed dressed and laid to rest forever at 6AM. I cannot thank each one of them enough, for all what they did for my mum and will always have a special place in my heart. RIP Roxanna.

I visit my mum twice a week and am always made welcome. I enjoy helping the residents and have formed a good relationship with all the staff. I have no worries about my mum's care as the staff are very caring and professional. They take time with the residents and make sure their needs are met. A special
shout out to the entertainment staff as they are always providing activities to help with stimulation. I feel very lucky knowing that my mum is happy and being cared for with patience and empathy.

I have been a volunteer in Peartree for approximately 18 months. My stepmom used to be a resident in this care home.
I was so impressed with the activities coordinator and the way that she inter acts with the residents.
This gave me an incentive to volunteer and I have no regrets. This care home
is one of the friendliest places. The staff are welcoming and the resident are happy and well cared for. It's a pleasure to be a part of such excellence.

My partner has been a resident in Peartree for the past 5 months. I chose this home before he needed to become a resident, when I first visited Peartree in 2024 I was very happily impressed at first visit. Everyone extremely kind and professional, clean, I described how the staff related in a personal
way with each resident. I see now how my loved one is looked after with respect, dignity and in a loving way to each detail. He always looks clean polished always smiling as he's always been. I asked my loved one how he feels, these are his words "it's brilliant, everything is good and I feel good." He has settled in very well and that gives us peace of mind knowing he is happy.

My mum has been cared for at Pear Tree for over 1.5 years now and she seems happy. The staff are always helpful and friendly, her items in her room are kept well, she is always clean, her room is always clean and the nurses communicate about anything that needs to be communicated. Its not possible for
me to take care of my mum on my own at home then I am happy for her to be looked after by the team at Pear Tree.

Adam joined Excelcare in February 2025. His move into care came after navigating my way through choosing a home for his grandmother who had been diagnosed with dementia with Lewy bodies.
