I've been visiting my neighbour at Peartree Care Home Sydenham for the last year and I'm impressed with the quality of the accommodation, care and helpfulness of the staff. They put on lovely events with party food and live music. The parties for the jubilee and the coronation were amazing. The residents
appear to be well cared for and happy. The food looks good too. The place is always spotlessly clean.

Everyone here is professional and dedicated. Management is super and friendly.
The doctor is a young man with a beautiful heart, with a compassionate attitude, always smiling and loved by patients - my sister thinks he is a son from heaven.
I love this place. I'll give it 100%.

Peartree Care Home is everything a care home should be.
My experience is that it is a friendly, supportive, caring and happy place to live.
The food is good and if you are awake at night, the night staff will ask if you would like a drink or a sandwich.
The staff are well trained and supportive 24/7.
The
rooms are well-fitted out, clean and well-furnished.
My experience has all been good and I would fully recommend it.
I thoroughly enjoy the physiotherapist support provided to support my Parkinson's.
If anything requires straightening out, the management team are quick to respond.

My mum joined Peartree Care Home in the middle of March. I had moved my mum from another care home which wasn't suited to my mum's needs. From the moment my mum joined to date, all the staff are absolutely lovely, from reception to the cleaners to all the staff on the floors, you couldn't ask for any
more, welcoming and lovely staff. Nothing is too much trouble and they keep you informed of everything, down to your relative's well-being and to the entertainment. The rooms are lovely and bright and you can bring in your own personal belongings for the room. It's home from home. As a relative, you can feel very anxious about leaving your relative in a care home but Peartree is so welcoming and the staff puts your mind at ease that you know they are going to be cared for to the highest standard and you don't have to worry. I would highly recommend Peartree if you're looking for a care home. I can't thank them enough for how they look after my mum.

We visited Peartree Care Home for a resident's 100th birthday celebration and wow we was taken back by the extreme length the workers had gone to celebrate this milestone.
They all went above and beyond.
The care they give is out of this world, not just with residents but to family and friends.
So
welcoming friendly and above all caring.
What a friendly bunch of staff, the residents are treated exactly like their own relatives which was so warming to see.
The residents looked so happy and so well cared for.
All staff members are so friendly.
You gave her a 100% birthday bash well done girls, and thank you.

My mother is the longest resident over 10 years. My sister-in-law recommended Peartree for my mother and since she has been here I have always found that the staff and care home facilities the best in London and the surrounding major counties. The best of the best, with a loving and caring attitude.

My mum joined Peartree during COVID in January 2021, a time that was difficult for everyone. Peartree and their staff were fantastic throughout and helped my mum settle and feel at home very quickly. The team on my mum's floor (2nd) are caring and make time to help my mum, spending time with her and
making her comfortable. The entertainment and events are excellent and my mum really enjoys them.

Peartree has a welcoming feel to it. The staff always greet you with a smile. The rooms are fresh and spacious. Meals are adapted to the patient's needs. Nothing is too much trouble. I felt confident my mum would be well cared for when I left her in Peartree's care.

Adam joined Excelcare in February 2025. His move into care came after navigating my way through choosing a home for his grandmother who had been diagnosed with dementia with Lewy bodies.


In 2018 he joined Bupa as a Home Manager and has worked in care since. Adam has a passion for providing person centred quality care to his residents and support to families.
