My partner has been a resident in Peartree for the past 5 months. I chose this home before he needed to become a resident, when I first visited Peartree in 2024 I was very happily impressed at first visit. Everyone extremely kind and professional, clean, I described how the staff related in a personal
way with each resident. I see now how my loved one is looked after with respect, dignity and in a loving way to each detail. He always looks clean polished always smiling as he's always been. I asked my loved one how he feels, these are his words "it's brilliant, everything is good and I feel good." He has settled in very well and that gives us peace of mind knowing he is happy.

My mum has been cared for at Pear Tree for over 1.5 years now and she seems happy. The staff are always helpful and friendly, her items in her room are kept well, she is always clean, her room is always clean and the nurses communicate about anything that needs to be communicated. Its not possible for
me to take care of my mum on my own at home then I am happy for her to be looked after by the team at Pear Tree.

Since nan started at Pear Tree she has done amazing and settled in so well. She enjoys the variety of different activities and loves getting involved. I have been attending the home on a weekly basis for the past year. I have always found the staff welcoming and had no issues with visiting, including times. My brother's room is always clean and he is well-presented. He has never complained or found fault with the home. I have been present during meal
times, which look very good. I am kept up to date with any issues and so far cannot find fault. Staff do and amazing job.

The love and care bestowed to my mother over the last five years has been exceptional. As a family, we have been supported throughout the night up to the point where my mother recently passed away. We are thankful to all the carers at Peartree, especially all those on the second floor who cared and
loved Mum and to a particular member of staff for organising all the activities and fun entertainment for the residents, Mum always enjoyed. Another particular staff member and her team have all been exceptional. Much love to you all.

I was apprehensive about leaving my mum in the care of strangers but I have been very pleasantly surprised. Everyone on the staff is caring, friendly and warm. Adam joined Excelcare in February 2025. His move into care came after navigating my way through choosing a home for his grandmother who had been diagnosed with dementia with Lewy bodies.


In 2018 he joined Bupa as a Home Manager and has worked in care since. Adam has a passion for providing person centred quality care to his residents and support to families.


Adam enjoys cooking, traveling to explore new cultures and cuisines along with spending time with his godchildren.
