The staff are all very welcoming and very friendly whenever I go to visit my friend. I attended the day of the Christmas party, which was great fun. The food was really good and they are all very attentive to the residents. Getting them involved and generally caring for them. They felt more like family.

My grandfather was a resident in this care home for a year. He was well looked after by the staff. They were professional, caring, helpful and friendly. My grandad loved it here. His own space was immaculate. Whenever I went to visit, it was always clean and tidy. Sadly, my grandad passed away at the
care home, where he was looked after, on the 1st floor. I want to say how excellent the care was that he received. I would highly recommend Peartree.

My dad has been in Peartree Care Home for about three months now. All the staff are so caring and kind, he is treated so well and I could not be more grateful for the way they care for my dad, they truly are angels and I cannot thank them enough. Simply the best.

I have found all the staff on the second floor to be very professional, always willing to help, and cannot do enough to help us when we visit. All staff are very knowledgable and capable. I am very happy to have my mum be looked after by the staff. Mum is always found clean and tidy and the room is

Peartree Care Home is truly a community-centered home-from-home. Today my sister, a resident now for one year, had her 70th birthday, and it was such a brilliant afternoon. Everyone was having so much fun. Dancing, playing games (team), participating in a quiz and listening to a live clarinet performance.
Wow! Kudos to the whole Peartree team for making this a caring, inclusive community experience. My sister was showered with love and affection. To be honest, it was one of her best birthdays ever! Thank you so much Peartree team.

My mum is very well cared for here. I feel she is safe and all staff are friendly and helpful to me if I have any questions about Mum's care.
I am given regular updates about Mum's health, behaviour, eating and drinking habits. I usually visit once a week and it's always a very friendly atmosphere.
I do think that toiletries should be provided for private patients.

I have nothing but good things to say about Peartree Care Home. The care home goes above and beyond to ensure they provide excellent care for its residents. My mum was well looked after and loved by the staff. They treated her with dignity and as an individual. They also ensured the family was kept
up to date with any changes and valued our concerns and feedback.
I felt confident and at ease knowing my mum was in good hands, for this I am ever grateful.

Adam joined Excelcare in February 2025. His move into care came after navigating my way through choosing a home for his grandmother who had been diagnosed with dementia with Lewy bodies.


In 2018 he joined Bupa as a Home Manager and has worked in care since. Adam has a passion for providing person centred quality care to his residents and support to families.
