My mother-in-law received fabulous care at Peartree, so warm, welcoming and non-judgemental and kind. Every member of staff made every interaction a pleasure and she improved so much over the 4 weeks she was there. Special shoutout to four members of staff in particular.

The service here is excellent.
The staff are friendly and understanding, helping to make this old girl comfortable and settled.
The food is very good, taking into account people's individual needs and tastes.
My room and bed and washing facilities are very good.
I am not made to feel a nuisance.

This is the best home I've ever been to visit. My mum was well looked after and much loved by staff members. I would recommend Peartree Care Home to all the elderly, they won't get this treatment anywhere else.

The staff are all very welcoming and very friendly whenever I go to visit my friend. I attended the day of the Christmas party, which was great fun. The food was really good and they are all very attentive to the residents. Getting them involved and generally caring for them. They felt more like family.

My grandfather was a resident in this care home for a year. He was well looked after by the staff. They were professional, caring, helpful and friendly. My grandad loved it here. His own space was immaculate. Whenever I went to visit, it was always clean and tidy. Sadly, my grandad passed away at the
care home, where he was looked after, on the 1st floor. I want to say how excellent the care was that he received. I would highly recommend Peartree.

I have found all the staff on the second floor to be very professional, always willing to help, and cannot do enough to help us when we visit. All staff are very knowledgable and capable. I am very happy to have my mum be looked after by the staff. Mum is always found clean and tidy and the room is

Adam joined Excelcare in February 2025. His move into care came after navigating my way through choosing a home for his grandmother who had been diagnosed with dementia with Lewy bodies.


In 2018 he joined Bupa as a Home Manager and has worked in care since. Adam has a passion for providing person centred quality care to his residents and support to families.
