She was always treated with dignity and respect, she was happy and always had a smile for them, or a little nickname, nothing was too much trouble. Sadly we lost Mum in May this year, but when other charities or company's say they are there for you, but they aren't. It is different with Abbot Care Home, we the family still matter, they check to see how we are doing.
If you are looking for a care home for long term care or respite care, from my experience I would recommend them and the staff who work there.

Even the smallest interactions can make a big difference, and it's heartening to know they brighten her day. We also appreciate you raising the suggestion about installing a dishwasher in the unit. At present, dishes from KFI are taken to the main kitchen for cleaning, as space within the unit itself is quite limited.
