An absolute brilliant experience for my sister the staff have been so good to her and to us.we are so happy that we got her in here before Christmas and sad to see that she cannot be funded there. we'd like to thank the cleaners carers Nurses Doctors and management on her behalf and ours and wish you all well for the future and hope to see you soon

I cannot express enough how much I value the care and support this home provides to the residents. Just seeing the smiles on the residents' faces makes me so happy that John is living there. The staff are wonderful, the facilities are immaculate, and the activities are very engaging. Highly recommended!

My father loves his new home, so much is going on if he chooses to join in. He loves sitting in the gardens in summer. Can't fault Abbots at all.

The staff at Abbot Care Home are fantastic. The support they give to my mum is first class! My mum has been here for about 18 months, and the improvement in her wellbeing is amazing. Everyone is so engaging with her. Thank you for caring so well for her.

I continue to be impressed by the energy in sourcing activities to get involved in, whether it be including outside visitors like the local schools or choirs, or crafts, singing, exercise and celebrating yearly events. Helen and all the team show encouragement and work hard to make good experiences - communicate and care personally about the residents.

I am a resident here at Abbot Care Home. My experience here is that I really love it here, it really feels like home, I am looked after by all the carers, nurses and the activity team. Everyone here makes sure that I am ok. Asking if I need anything, checking on me, and all the staff always have a smile on their faces. I appreciate everything they do for me here. Thank you.

My mother has been in the care home for 3 years. In that time things have constantly improved. My mum's physical care is excellent. The staff understand and preempt her needs. My mum talks a lot and really likes being with people, so the range of activities (especially karaoke on Monday evenings) is brilliant for her. Everyone knows Mum, even if they don't work on her unit, and people always greet her warmly. The recent refurbishment has made the lounge feel like a boutique hotel.

The activities provided are varied and cater for a wide range of interests. The atmosphere created by the team makes the residents feel safe, included and successful. People are enabled to join in at their own level.

My mother in law was placed in the home for end of life care. Whilst there, she was shown love, care, support and respect. We are so happy that her final months were at Abbot Care home and we can't thank the staff enough.

On visiting Sue at the care home, she was talking to us about how she enjoyed the food there. Sue also gets on with the staff very well. Sue seems to be happy and settled there.

Whilst my nan was in Abbot Care Home myself and my partner visited her. Nan was always happy and smiling. We saw Nan had made relationships with the staff, carers and nurses. Thank you, Abbot Care Home, for looking after her.

Christine has been in Abbot Care Home for just 18 months now and we have been very pleased with the care and attention she has been receiving since she arrived here. If I've had any problem, I have spoken to staff regarding it and has been sorted quickly.

I like the way my mum is cared for and also the way I am made to feel welcome. All the staff are very friendly and always take time to say hello and talk to me too. My mum has been in residence since 2022, and I feel her mood is better in this home despite her illness.

Very nice, friendly and helpful staff. My dad's needs are always met. He does like being in the home and he has made lots of new friends. The food is of very good standards. My dad is eating so well. The medical staff look after all his needs. His room is lovely and spacious. The overall care home is kept very well and of good standards.

I have to say Helen is the most amazing lady we have met. She is caring and loving, she makes my mum's face light up, and always includes her in activities. She is a wonderful asset to the home.
