From initial contact and viewing of the premises, Castlemead stood out as special.
During the hardest time of our lives, they showed us extraordinary kindness and compassion.
The staff cared for our loved one with dignity, respect, and genuine warmth, ensuring they were comfortable and peaceful
in their final days.
They also supported our family every step of the way, offering reassurance, honesty and kindness that meant so much. We will always be deeply grateful for the care, compassion and kindness they showed us.

Everything has gone very well since my Mother has been in Castlemead Court Care Home. She is very well looked after and cared for. We have been very impressed with the amount of daily activities available. Also, any problems are sorted out quickly and sympathetically.

Poppy ward in Castlemead Court Care Home is a happy place. All the staff are kind, considerate and patient. My husband is always clean and tidy and extremely cared for. There is always a member of staff to answer questions. The food is amazing and such a wide choice. Nothing is too much trouble
whatever the residents request the staff will do their best to fulfil.

I am welcomed whenever I visit by warm friendly staff who are always helpful and attentive. The staff who care for my friend are responsive and helpful with any questions that I have and are warm and friendly and incredibly diligent and caring in what they do. Thank you to all the support staff
who make this care home very special indeed.

My husband has been at Castlemead for 12 months now, having stayed in two other care homes before. My family and I are so grateful for the kindness and care he is receiving, nothing is too much trouble. The staff are all well trained and always happy, easy to talk to if you're worried over anything.
A big thank you goes to the manager and all her staff.

My Father had a short time at Castlemead Court and I would say it is far more than a care home - it is truly a home that cares. Every member of staff was exceptional, showing kindness, professionalism, and genuine compassion at all times. An outstanding team providing outstanding care.

Mum relocated to Castlemead Court in November 2024, and we haven't looked back since. A care home can look like a Palace but it's the people that make a care home, a home. The staff here are simply wonderful, from management to kitchen staff and everyone in between. I'd go as far as to say some are
like family to mum and me. I was unable to visit last year due to illness and mum ran out of chocolate, so the staff went and got some for her. I should add that mum cannot communicate, so she could't have asked them, they just saw the need and knew I was unable to visit, so sorted it themselves. Every visit, I see staff across the unit go about their work with kindness and compassion and when your loved one passes, they are there for you too, even attending the funeral. I have rarely seen such dedication to duty. #notallangelshavewings

From the moment my mum arrived my whole family have been completely happy with my mums care. Many thanks to all the staff they have been faultless in every way. Knowing that my 90 year old mother is being cared for in this way is wonderful.

Having never delt with a care home previous, the service that my stepmother has received cannot be faulted. Stepmother came to Castlemead from hospital with a 6 week assessment and I can't believe the care and compassion that they have shown her is absolutely wonderful. Speaking to other people
outside the home as them asking where was she sent everyone i have spoken to has said how wonderful they are there. The staff and management are a credit to this care home

I cannot praise Castlemead Court Care Home enough. The dignity and quality care is outstanding. The staff are friendly and compassionate. The home is clean, food is wonderful and my father feels well looked after. He has an ensuite room which is large and comfortable. Activities are run daily. It
feels like an extended family. Thank you so much!

I would like to mention that knowing my husband, who suffers from Azheimers is being looked after and cared for in a safe place by dedicated carers. To know he is helped whenever and with whatever he needs gives me great comfort, and makes it easier for me to accept he no longer lives at home with
me.

Always enjoy visiting Nan at Castlemead, carers are attentive, nurses are friendly, and Nan is always in good spirits and feels looked after. Would highly recommend if you / your loved one requires more round-the-clock care.

My daughter was getting married and we didn't think Mum would be able to attend due to her health conditions, two members of staff offered to bring Mum, get her ready and push her in the wheelchair on their day off! (Mum is normally bedbound) so this was quite a feat and it made my daughter's day.
I personally feel the staff all go above and beyond to make the residents feel well looked after.

With us, everything has happened very quickly, my aunt moved to Castlemead from hospital in unplanned circumstances. As a result we weren't prepared and didn't know what to expect. The staff have gone above and beyond to help her settle in and feel safe and supported and to help us negotiate this
unexpected journey.
Nothing is too much trouble and there is an overwhelming feeling of community and family. The facilities are fantastic - gardens, lounges, quiet rooms, hairdressing salon, even a pub and there always seems to be something going on. Everything is spotlessly clean and well maintained but it is the family feeling that you get that makes us feel that my aunt will be very happy here

Mum has been a resident for nearly 3 years. In this time she has been treated kindly and well looked after. The home is generally well run with kind and compassionate staff.

My mother has been treated with real care and kindness by all the staff. She is full of praise for their kindness and support and I have delighted to see that the staff have been able to help her join in with activities. Staff were always ready to support me too, which is really appreciated in
