My husband has been a resident for the past 3 years. His care has been exemplary, even when staff changes have taken place, he eats well, the food is excellent and caters for all his needs. He also enjoys the entertainment and other activities provided. Carers always treat him with kindness and courtesy.
My Dad has been in Castlemead for two years now and in my opinion, it has improved greatly in that time. More one on one carers mean the floor staff, who are amazing, aren't spread so thin. They do such a good job. It is a friendly, happy place.
Castlemead is the best home I have visited, sadly my mother passed away, the care she received was exemplary, she was very happy there, and as a family, we felt the warmth and love this home exudes. I have no hesitation in highly recommending this home. When we have been able, we have popped in from time to time, and you can still feel the wonderful atmosphere. Be assured, your loved one will be well looked after here.
