View Full Details of The Willows Care HomeThe Willows Care Home was a truly special place. The staff were/are amazing and cared for my mum with such kindness and love. They always made time for her and treated her with warmth and respect. She enjoyed the activities, especially the singing, which always made her smile. It was/is a happy careing home and our family will always be grateful for the comfort and compassion they have her. Knowing she was so well looked after meant the world to our family.
Mum in law spent 7 1/2 years in The Willows before her passing at the age of 98. She had vascular dementia and no mobility. In all that time she did not get a bedsore! Personal care was obviously very good. She was encouraged to eat but given freedom to choose, which I believe was the best for her. Staff were cheerful and kind, and did their very best for her. She was unable/unwilling to participate in group activities so I was very grateful for those which came to individual rooms - Busking Bob for example.
Mum is very happy here, she seems to very much enjoy being here. Staff are extremely attentive + friendly - there is a lovely atmosphere. Mum often tells me that the staff are her friends and that 'they like me'. I find communication to be excellent and staff on the unit keep me updated.
Its a lovely place to get well and wonderful staff.
All the staff are always dedicated and very caring and go out of their way to provide as much stimulation as they can at all times.
Recently my mum passed, but I can honestly say the team at The Willows Care Home made her last few years a lot happier. They cared and looked after my mum as though she was family. I cannot thank them enough for the care they provided.
The team at the Willows have been amazing and gone every extra mile they could for nan and to ensure nan is safe and happy. Couldn't of asked for anything more of them have been a massive support for me and nan. Best in the business.
The Willows has a light, airy and calming atmosphere as soon as you walk through the front doors. All the staff are pleasant and helpful and treat residents with kindness, understanding and dignity. Residents are encouraged to take part in activities both individually and in groups. Mum's room is kept spotlessly clean and her clothing laundered well. Food is cooked fresh daily with a good variety on the menu for residents to choose from (smells good too!).
My husband has been in full time for a year now. As a family, we are so pleased with the care, kindness and understanding from everyone. Thank you so much.
Very helpful in all ways.
Friendly and efficient staff. Louise has a very high regard for the staff. Her family is impressed with the care she receives.
I like coming to The Willows when my mum is anxious, I get worried but I always find the reception and admin lady Suzanne a great comfort. Mum gets anxious and the staff really try to help to calm her she gets involved in activities.
My wife has been in The Willows for several weeks now and I have delighted with the level of care that she has experienced. The carers have been excellent, and sympathetic also the nursing care has also been similarly excellent.
Mum quality of life has greatly improved since coming to the Willows. Nothing is too much trouble for any of the staff and I know mum feels safe and happy. I can relax knowing that she is well-cared for when Im not with her and I look forward to visiting and being able to just enjoy my time with her.

My dear friend now finds herself in the care of The Willows. I was not sure what to expect, but I can honestly say I was pleasantly surprised. On entering the home, I was welcomed and asked if I would like to be shown to her room. Her room is airy and bright and has been recently refurbished. The staff were so friendly and kind, and I felt so at ease. Thank you all for taking such good care of my friend.
Our mother came to stay at The Willows in April 2025. We found the home to be very warm and comfortable. Although out mother was there only for a few days, the standard of care was very professional and in my opinion first class. The care and support shown, not only to our mother, but to her family, was amazing; nothing was too much trouble for them, and we as a family were truly grateful to The Willows.
