As a family we have been impressed with the care provided at Haven Lodge. Mum is happy, well cared for and mentally stimulated there.
The staff are fabulous, kind, friendly and nothing is too much bother for them. Management and carers are very approachable and supportive.
There are daily varied
activities to keep all residents engaged.
All care and socialising needs are being met for Mum.

The home arranged a lovely birthday party for my sister. The event was brilliant so much food and drink.
Sue and Karina were fantastic not only looking after my sister but made us all really welcome.

Sue and Karina, Laid on a great spread for birthday party, they were excellent company, and thoroughly enjoyed there company.
The care home were very supportive of Joan on her birthday and we thoroughly enjoyed our time there

Sue, Karina and the team put on a wonderful 70th birthday spread for my Auntie. They made her feel special whilst also making her feel at ease. The team clearly make the home a welcoming and enjoyable place to stay. Wonderful staff.

My sister has only been at this home since beginning of 2026 and after a period of adjustment we feel that she has settled in well. The staff are accommodating and really listen to us. Today was the pinnacle of care when it was a significant birthday celebration and they really pushed the boat out
with excellent decorations, food and being so attentive to all details. Thank you Sue and Karina for all the excellent work you put on today.

The entire team at Haven Lodge were incredible supporting my mum through her last three weeks of life. Mini, Sue and their amazing team welcomed us every day with smiles, dignified care and exceptional nursing. We can't thank the team at Haven enough for making the most difficult time of our lives
as good as it could possibly be. You are all wonderful people, working so hard, in difficult circumstances and we are so grateful to every single one of you.

We can't speak highly enough of this facility, moreover the absolutely brilliant and caring staff.
Mum spent her final weeks here and we are so, so grateful for the compassionate and professional care that she received. Nothing was too much trouble and Mums every need was met with abundance.
As
a family, we couldn't have asked for anything more.

Our lovely mum had the last two weeks of her life in this beautiful place, and received the utmost gentle and loving care. The staff are exemplary and were always so kind to us as family members. I would recommend this to anyone in a heartbeat.

I really felt moved to praise all the staff and helpers at Haven Lodge for all their efforts in putting on the Christmas party on 19/12/25. They worked tirelessly to make the whole day a success from the music, to the lovely buffet, not to mention the visit by Santa during which he took time to stop
and chat to everyone either in their rooms, or in the lounge, and was happy to pose for some lovely photos.
There was a huge raffle and tombola with lots of great prizes, and lots of winners. Some of the staff dressed up as elves and wore Christmas jumpers etc, the whole atmosphere was made special by all involved. Every visit we make the staff are always welcoming and ready to offer any help and answer any questions we may have. Thank you to all of them, I won't name names as I would run out of characters.
So from the chef to the cleaners, to the nurses, and all the lovely carers, to the team that arrange the social happenings to the maintenance dept. and all those that I forgot thank you

Our friend is well cared for and looked after. The staff are friendly and helpful . It's a lovely home, and our friend is happy here. The staff provide activities, such as music sessions, and the food is always tasty.

The staff were always polite & very helpful to my husband & myself & trying to persuade him to take part in any activities not always successful. Trying to encourage to eat when he said no , my husband was Stubborn man & everyone knew that, so sometimes it was hard to care for him.

Mum remarked today how lovely the dinner was, which a staff member had prepared. She doesn't have a great appetite so I was pleased to hear her say she had eaten most of her dinner.
The staff here are lovely, so kind and caring. The home is always spotlessly clean. We are blessed to have been
recommended this care home by Social Services

Most of the staff are really friendly, and happy, I know my mum is in a safe place, but sometimes I've been to see her and she's still in her night clothes, I know she can be stubborn, and try,s to dress herself, but I think they can at least help her or make sure she is dressed, some of the food is
not to her taste, but not to bad.

My mum is very well looked after she has vascular dementia and her mood swings are up and down, it gives us great peace of mind knowing how much care she is shown, if ever there is a problem we are notified straight away
So long as mum is happy in her world and cared for we couldn't wish for more

I have been very impressed with the care given to my friend in the care home.. she has been there several years now and has had to be in bed all the time and needs help with feeding and drinking.. .. she has got quite stiff with arthritis but is always treated with respect and care.. I have been

Haven Lodge made the last few days of my darling husbands life so very comfortable and peaceful. All the staff covered my husband and our family in love, patience and understanding. Feeding both our bodies and our souls. Nothing was too much trouble. Always with kindness. There are not enough words
to describe the care we all received. Our never ending and grateful thanks to everyone

What a wonderful home. My dad was moved here from hospital and sadly was only resident for a few days before passing away. But in that time both he, and his family were shown care, compassion, respect and given the dignity that everyone deserves. Nothing was to much trouble. The staff helped us
smile, cry, and generally cope with what was happening. We were kept informed and supported by a team of true professionals. Thank you.

Mum has been a resident since July 2024. Our family visit daily and are welcomed at the home at any time. All the staff, from the Nursing Home Manager, the Nurses, the Carers, the Lifestyles Team, the team that prepare and cook the meals, the Maintenance and Cleaning staff as well as the Laundry
staff always greet us and chat with us. I am very impressed with their professionalism as well as their understanding of the residents' needs.

Lovely staff, very attentive nothing seems too much trouble they are taking very good care of my dad. Good food choice catering for all tastes. Lovely tranquil grounds to sit out in. Seems to have lots of activities

Very happy with the care that my father received during the latter stages of his dementia care. He stayed there for 4 and a half months before his passing. No issues with the staff or management and if there was minor problems they got rectified immediately. Very grateful for the care he received.
