View Full Details of Queens Court Care HomeQueens Court Care Home is very well run, very comfortable and very friendly staff, always ready to help. Mum's very well looked after. We wouldn't have picked this care if it wasn't good enough for our lovely mum.
The home is very friendly and all the carers are unfailingly kind. The lifestyle lead does a fantastic job and organises many different fun events for the residents. The nursing staff are very diligent in ensuring resident's medical issues are addressed. The reception staff always offer a cheerful welcome.
Everything is satisfactory.
Since my wife was admitted to Queens Court she was given wonderful care, and I, as a husband, was allowed to work with wonderful staff and wonderful managers. I will recommend anybody who needs a care home to be lucky enough to be admitted to Queens Court Care Home. I would like to express my thanks to all the staff who help me, being kind to me and look after my lovely wife's care.
I find most things good and have no complaints.
VE Day celebrations were well thought out and very enjoyable. Entertainment laid on was very good. Staff interactions were excellent. Generally the home is of ok condition but could probably do with a bit of renovation & modernisation
Just been to the VE Day party at Queens Court in Buckhurst Hill. Great afternoons entertainment. Singing and dancing. Lots of cakes, sandwiches and drinks. Lots of happy faces. A good afternoon had by all. did a fantastic job organising it all.
A fantastic VE Day celebration today organised by the care home activities team with dancers and singer with everyone included and what the manager and her amazing team did for everyone was superb! Highly recommend all the activities which includes everyone.
We have just celebrated the birthday of our uncle who is 89 years old today. The celebration included another resident and a member of staff. Lovely day with music and entertainment lots of lovely food.
One staff member in particular always puts on the most amazing events and makes such effort with all residents and visitors. Amazing afternoon tea, with dancers and a singer, never disappoints. She even gave all the mums a little Mother's Day treat
Nans been here for a little over 1 month now & the transition for her hasn't been easy. But everyone at Queens Court has been very helpful and supportive. As for the activities, they are amazing. Everyday there are multiple activities and special occasions they go above and beyond! Mother's Day 2025 they had singers, dancers Plenty of drinks including cocktails Cakes and food a plenty The staff member who organises everything is fabulous Really couldn't ask for more
Great Mother's Day sin dig with lovely entertainers and staff. Made to fell very welcome and served food and drinks with a smile. Everyone happy with singing, dancing food and drinks - cakes a plenty
We had a lovely time with my great aunt at the st Patricks day horse race event. The staff were excellent as well as the cupcakes and drinks that were on offer. We will be sure to return for another event!
Hi had a fantastic experience on Friday visiting my aunt, the cockney event was fantastic. Great choice of food, trip down memory lane with a good selection of music. People very friendly a very positive experience, looking forward to many more.
Today's Cockney afternoon was fantastic. Lots of singing, dancing, laughter, food was amazing. A real interactive afternoon. the activities organiser, went above and beyond for all the residents and family members made to feel very welcome. Everyone left with joy in their hearts and memories. Memories made with love and Joy this afternoon. We cannot thank you enough.
The staff are lovely especially the activities manager who is full of life fun and a positive warm personality. The carers are also caring, considerate and approachable.
I come to all events with my mum, shes has great time lots of fun, well look after.
My mum was a resident up until February at Queens Court and my sister and family were always impressed with the care she received while there. Mum was always treated with dignity and was cared for by staff as though she were one of their own family. We are very grateful to everyone at Queens Court and will miss them.
Lovely afternoon at Queens Court with my mum and some of the staff. Big thank you to the activities lady for doing the organising East end afternoon and. Thank you to the manager for idea. Look for to the next event Mother's day.
My mum was booked in to stay for a month's respite following hip replacement but we moved her home after a week. The staff are lovely people but woefully overstretched meaning call buzzers are ignored for more than half an hour - my mum resorted to telephoning the home then, when they answered, telling them she was upstairs buzzing and could someone come! The rooms are basic and not cleaned well, my mum was in 8 days with only one bedding change on day 5 after we stepped in and requested it. I watched the cleaner check her bed table for crumbs and just wipe up the crumbs, leaving the rest of the table unwiped! The food is very poor and the main reason for moving. Even the staff don't know what they are serving (another observation and hearing conversation). The dining area/tea making area was closed for 3 days for refit without adequate temporary facilities, and with the dining tables still laid out among the dusty works. The overall atmosphere was one of chaos and disorganisation.
