View Full Details of Queens Court Care HomeI meet residents on a weekly basis since September and have found that, although some of them will complain, they also all acknowledge when developing this stay that there is a lot of good things and that the staff is nice and helpful, some of them are described as friendly by some residents. That is also my experience in my limited interactions with them. The place is also well cared for, clean and feels welcoming. Since I don't pay nor eat nor get care, I cannot note on all criteria but have never seen anything that I would feel uncomfortable with if my relatives were there.
I visited several care homes looking for a suitable place for mum. Queens Court quickly became the favoured one as they had a great events/activities programme and I also witnessed staff being caring and attentive towards the residents, always treating them with respect. I booked mum in for an initial month trial period. Within a week or so I knew it was the right place for her and the staff helped her to settle in very quickly. Mum has now been a resident for four months and I visit her regularly each week. During this time I have found that the food, cleanliness, activities, events, facilities, safety and security have been excellent. All mums needs are catered for and the staff make time to engage with each resident just having a chat too. Families and friends of the residents are always made welcome and are encouraged to visit and go to the excellent events. It has given our family peace of mind to know she is well cared for and it is good value for money too.
My wife had a lovely time and was looked after very well. The reception was very welcomed and helpful, so was all the staff and chef. Hope she comes back, I'll be happy.
Very clean and friendly excellent food. Very calm atmosphere. Feels like staff and residents are one big family. And the resident cat is brilliant to see. He gets along with all the residents staff and visitors.
The facilities provided are of a very high standard, the staff always appear caring and attentive. Exercise classes and other social functions are very well organised and very much appreciated. The catering is of a very good standard, the variety and quality of the food appeals to my mother-in-law.
A wonderful care home. Clean with wonderful staff. My mum was at end of life and she passed there in dignity and comfort. Well cared after. People of note lady in reception, and a staff member in the care and regency suite. Overall very good care home. Well managed and staff got to know me personally in 2 wks.
Thank you to all the staff that help me to put together a wonderful birthday spread for my mum. The catering was excellent and it was beautifully decorated. The family had amazing time. We are all happy with the service and I give credit to everyone that has made us all so welcome at all times and made her day.
After having moved my father from a previous home to Queens Court, I couldn't have wished for a better place for him. He was made to feel completely happy and treasured; a wonderful gift. Thank you.
We have the highest regard for staff at Q.C.C.H. Since 16/1/23, our Aunt has been with them. They have looked after our aunt, emotionally and physically, also supporting us. Ever more so now she is coming to the end of her life, always having time to talk with us and have a laugh. Management are always polite, but we don't come into contact with them very often.
Queens Court Care Home is very well run, very comfortable and very friendly staff, always ready to help. Mum's very well looked after. We wouldn't have picked this care if it wasn't good enough for our lovely mum.
The home is very friendly and all the carers are unfailingly kind. The lifestyle lead does a fantastic job and organises many different fun events for the residents. The nursing staff are very diligent in ensuring resident's medical issues are addressed. The reception staff always offer a cheerful welcome.
Everything is satisfactory.
Since my wife was admitted to Queens Court she was given wonderful care, and I, as a husband, was allowed to work with wonderful staff and wonderful managers. I will recommend anybody who needs a care home to be lucky enough to be admitted to Queens Court Care Home. I would like to express my thanks to all the staff who help me, being kind to me and look after my lovely wife's care.
I find most things good and have no complaints.
VE Day celebrations were well thought out and very enjoyable. Entertainment laid on was very good. Staff interactions were excellent. Generally the home is of ok condition but could probably do with a bit of renovation & modernisation
Just been to the VE Day party at Queens Court in Buckhurst Hill. Great afternoons entertainment. Singing and dancing. Lots of cakes, sandwiches and drinks. Lots of happy faces. A good afternoon had by all. did a fantastic job organising it all.
A fantastic VE Day celebration today organised by the care home activities team with dancers and singer with everyone included and what the manager and her amazing team did for everyone was superb! Highly recommend all the activities which includes everyone.
We have just celebrated the birthday of our uncle who is 89 years old today. The celebration included another resident and a member of staff. Lovely day with music and entertainment lots of lovely food.
One staff member in particular always puts on the most amazing events and makes such effort with all residents and visitors. Amazing afternoon tea, with dancers and a singer, never disappoints. She even gave all the mums a little Mother's Day treat
Nans been here for a little over 1 month now & the transition for her hasn't been easy. But everyone at Queens Court has been very helpful and supportive. As for the activities, they are amazing.
